They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

Just like a game of spades after a few good hands your destined for something bad. My luck with the apple store is truly not any different at all. About 2 years ago I had a really terrible experience that was ultimately handled positively. From that point I've had consistently positive experiences with apple. Well that was until this month. On October 1, 2022 I came into the apple store looking to get my horribly cracked phone repaired. I came in at approximately 6:25 without an appointment. Lucky for me they were able to get me in for an appointment for 7:35. I was told to come up to the front and remind them so that they don't forget about me. Context my phone was cracked on the front and back so I was pretty confident they would probably have to repair my phone. Update they ran diagnostics and determined my phone would need to be replaced. They gave me a replacement phone. The person I worked with literally just handed me the phone and said I was all set and walked off. I started to try and enter my information and then quickly discovered that the phone was locked. It took was truly felt like forever for them to figure out what the passcode was. I know what you're probably wondering well surely they went ahead and activated the phone for you but of course they didn't. I had to leave and go upstairs to T-Mobile for them to activate my phone. When I got upstairs they weren't able to activate the phone. We contacted several customer service support agents with no luck at all. Only for T-Mobile to tell me that apple gave me a lock device. At this point I needed to go back downstairs to the Apple Store where I would wait even longer only for them to give me a new loaner. At this point the phone was unlocked so that was a plus the negative is that it took them so long I couldn't go to T-Mobile to get it activated. So after several hours later and a couple phones later I left with a device that didn't work for certain but eventually it would. Yay me.

This location is on Delaware, just before Hertel, in a strip shopping center that includes Fleet Feet, a Credit Union, and Little Caesars Pizza. Then I said BS taxes and fees are not 300 dollars; what am I paying for. Then they told me that I was paying 150 for a case and charger. I said I don't want that!! Then I asked what the fee is for. And it was an 80-dollar fee to set up my phone. So I looked this up, and if you were at a corporate-owned store, they would charge you anywhere from 0 to 35 dollars to set up your phone. I told them I was not paying the 80 dollars, and they made me just pay taxes. So I agreed and had to return my phone the next day as a trade-in. There was an older gentleman buying what looked like the same phone, but this time the fee was 350 dollars. The gentleman asked what the bulk of this charge was, and the salesman said taxes and fees, but acted like the case and charge were part of the deal. I informed him of the scam, but this I am assuming if it was the same phone the setup fee was 130 dollars. This is TCC owned store and TCC states that they charge 29.99 as a set up fee. They can make the fee whatever they want. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! Make sure the store you go to is a corporate-owned store.
