My son has ADHD and they not only embraced him, but develped his technique and he thrived! My daughter is very young and only did the recreation program, but all of the teachers (especially Tammy and cooper) were absolutely amazing! Because of DI both of my kids are way above their age level in all genres from just one year of dancing there. The staff is extremely professional, and the owner is just so on top of everything at the studio. The best part of the studio is that none of the teachers or staff (Including the owner) get involved with ANY of the drama at the studio. They place the kids where they will do the best in technique and maturity wise. The only reason why we left is because we moved out of state, however we are going back every year for some of the conventions they participate in so we have the chance to dance with them. They care about molding your dancer into a professional dancer, not just a competitive dancer who stops dancing at 18 when they age out of competitions. They work with the seniors in getting them into the right collages and help them earn scholarships to pay for tuition. The owner and staff are well connected as well to get your foot in the door if you want to go more towards the entertainment industry. The ballet program is top notch with dancers that get into the most prestigious dance schools. (They have placed at least 3 dancers at Juilliard last year). They also have great adult ballet, tap, and hop hop classes that are so much fun! If you have the opportunity to go to DI do it! It was the best decision for our whole family made in dance we have ever made.

Also I never said I had to do volunteer hours with the place I was donating it to. That contract was between me and my employer which has nothing to do with the dance company. As a matter of fact I did my hours with Letters Against Isolation which does great work. I sent over 400 cards, letters, greetings, ect. to several people in need. Not to mention the hours and money that I spent making backpacks and water bottles for the kids on the team as well. Yes when things started they were great however things changed as time went on. Teaching style changed. It is never ok to yell at a child and make them cry. It is never ok to tell them they are not doing enough. It is never ok to tell them they are not being a team. If they weren't being a team that is the fault of the team leader which was Tiffany. Let's make sure the credit goes to where it needs to be. The kids on the team won not the teacher not the company the kids did. If it wasn't for the kids and their parents there would have not been any team there would not have been any dancers representing the company. The kids did that. The kids put Tiffany's vision to what it was. Tiffany did not win the kids did.

My friend and I decided to be brave and take a "Barre Sculpting" class for adults last Tuesday…read moreevening. After looking up exactly what barre sculpting is, I was a little bit nervous, since I don't usually do the whole physical activity thing... But I went to the class anyway, determined to get a dancer body for what is left of the summer. The facility is beautiful and new; the color schemes and cubbyholes (yes, cubbies!!) made me wish I was 7 again and could attend the kids' dance classes during the day! Holly, the owner, was enthusiastic and kind, and made my friend and I feel like we were regulars, not newbies. The class itself was really fun and a great workout. It's structured in a way that is fast-paced, but not too intense where you get lost while following along. The music selection was fantastic and I loved that Holly actually went through all the moves with her students so you would have an example. After the hour-long class, my friend and I left feeling energized and accomplished, not wrung-out and exhausted. Overall, I would rate my experience at Preston Hollow Dance as excellent and would definitely recommend it. I can't wait to go back for another class!

We had a great time, felt confident in what we learned, and certainly will go back soon for more lessons and events. We both wanted to take country dance classes but didn't like that our only option was a bar. When we tripped across Studio 22, this is exactly what we'd hoped for. This event was organized and well planned with professional instructors who were patient and kind. Studio 22 made it fun, not intimidating. The ratio of guests balanced itself out. They encourage frequent rotation of partners (if you go as a couple, that's okay too), no one person was without a partner for too long. There was a wide range of dance lessons, not just country. The studio itself was very spacious, large enough to hold 50 - 80 people comfortably. There are dozens of four top tables along the wall, no reservations, you have to grab one asap. You are allowed to bring your own water bottles (BYOB). They kept the temperature very comfortable, impressive! Dress code is casual attire, something easy to move in, and shoes you can easily shuffle in. There is a fantastic YELP coupon when you check in: 1 Free Group Lesson. I plan to redeem it and will write another review about it.

Teachers are welcoming and patient in group lessons. The community here is also very nice. Parking is super easy-- there's a huge lot with tons of parking spaces. There's also a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, making this place super convenient.
