The first half of the year is teaching technique to the dancers, with age-appropriate content. The teachers who designed the syllabus have an extensive amount of knowledge and consider the age and physical development of the children when writing the curriculum and really KNOW what they are doing. No, I don't owe you money. No, I have never used your dance services before. Unprofessional to not check which numbers you are calling and leaving voice mails on. Yes, your call was an inconvenience to me. It doesn't matter if you intentionally made a mistake or not. Because of your error, you interrupted a scheduled interview I had. Also, you left a voice mail on the wrong number with potentially private payment information about one of your customers. So, you not only should have called me to apologize for screwing up my phone interview with your absent-mindedness, you should call the customer to let them know you left their payment information on someone else's phone. But since you lack basic apology skills, of course you won't do that. Not sure how this lady is a business owner!

The recitals and performances are always a joy and it is exceptionally endearing to see the dancers are taught, and perform, in a wholesome and tasteful manner where many other studios may go astray. I'm very disappointed with our experience at this dance studio, particularly with the conduct of…read morethe instructor, Ms. Pam. My 4-year-old daughter came home telling me that Ms. Pam told her she is "dark brown." I find it completely inappropriate for a dance instructor--especially in a class for such young children--to point out differences in skin tone. My daughter was the only African American child in the class and had never even noticed the difference between herself and the other girls until it was unnecessarily highlighted by the instructor. What saddens me even more is that this is a Christian dance class. One would hope that such a setting would promote love, kindness, and sensitivity--not behavior that could make a young child feel singled out. I reached out to Ms. Pam personally to express my concerns, but unfortunately, she never responded. My husband and I ultimately decided to remove our daughter from the class. I hope this feedback encourages the studio to provide more training for their instructors on how to interact with children in a respectful and inclusive manner.

Ms. Marina (and all the teachers) are incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. My daughter loves her classes so much that she's now enrolled every day & looks forward to every class. The friendships she has built here are such a gift too. I especially love that the students get to be a part of full-length ballet productions (instead of just a 3-minute recital song), and that they get plenty of invaluable stage experience. What makes this school truly unique is their commitment to the Vaganova method (one of the most rigorous & elite). It results in stunning dancers who are an absolute joy to watch on stage. We are so grateful to have found this school, and to Ms. Marina for her care and dedication to all of her students. Highly recommend!!
