Spotted this Food truck in Bothell area. I was curious about the offering and picked up the lunch from here. Crispy Garlic chicken and Spring rolls. The entree comes with a bowl of white rice. I asked them to make it a little spicy, but they couldn't do it, so they gave me some extra hot sauce. It's fried chicken tossed in special sauce. Loved it. Picked up the small portion of spring rolls - it's fried to perfection - crunchy, but not too much. I enjoyed it with the sweet sauce on the side! Saw this only once in Bothell, couldn't find a schedule to try other options. Really enjoyed the food!

Pad See Eiw and Red Curry

On National Day Out Bai Tong brought their food truck to my neighborhood. We ordered Pad See Eiw, Red curry, and a Thai iced tea. The Thai Iced Tea didn't make it into the picture because it was so good. Definitely ask for spicy powder on the side if you like spice. My only gripe was the chicken in the red curry seemed a bit over cook and the rice could have been a day old. The Pad See Eiw noodles were soft and flavorful. The veggies with it were crunchy and delicious. The chicken in these noodles was soft and fresh as well. Price point was a bit high but that seems pretty normal these days. Overall, my first experience with Bai Tong was ok, I would order it again if it was my only option again.

Pad Thai

- Lady at the window was very nice and welcoming - Food tasted great (Red Chicken Curry, Pad Thai, and Garlic Chicken) - Ambiance of the truck was good too

Thai Basil Chicken Red Curry Chicken Spring Rolls

I'm normally a big fan of the Bai Tong Restaurants and never had a bad experience, but sadly I couldn't give my first time trying Bai Tong on Wheels a high rating purely on my own experience as I'll describe. I ordered the spring rolls, Thai Basil Chicken for me and Red Curry Chicken for my wife. The spring rolls and my wife's Red Curry Chicken were good, but my Thai Basil Chicken was way TOO SPICY! My wife is the one that can handle spicy food more so and even she said it was really spicy. I took 2 stars off because it was overbearingly hot, I had to take several pauses while eating it until I just couldn't eat anymore. I could barely get halfway through it. There was no indication on the menu that this dish was even spicy and I wasn't asked for a spice level when ordering. I have to say that the portions are generous, I'll give them that. Just caution, if you can't handle high spice levels like me, make sure to let them know. Hopefully, they update their menus so people are aware when ordering if its a spicy dish by default and can adjust.

I don't often get any Mexican food on the Eastside since I just haven't found a good one yet. And sadly, I have to admit that I still have not found any worth the drive across the lake. I ordered one of their burritos, hefty pricing but that's what you'd expect on this side of town. Not the heftiest burrito though for its price, but filling enough. Taste wise it was as a Yelp 3 Star describes, "OK". I've had a lot of Mexican food across the whole West Coast, and this one isn't any special. But of course I will have to try again another day.

I haven't had a ton of horchata but I thought it was delicious. It was a balanced sweet and spiced, 5/5. I could see it being a little too sweet for some people but I personally loved it The godfather burrito wasn't anything too special, but the ingredients all felt high quality, 3.5/5 I love a chunky guacamole and this was quite smooth. It lacked flavor other than avocado but was clearly fresh, 2/5

She offered people little samples of dishes and drink even if you were at the back of the line. I sampled the passion fruit tea and ended up ordering it because it has no added sugar with perfect but of bitterness from the tea without the acidity. The fried mochi balls/jing dui were the best ones I've had yet! I feel like small ones are hard to perfect but this was so crispy on the exterior, not overly oily, perfectly sweetened and balanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds. The shu mai was also top tier as it was packed with so much pork and shrimp, no fillers detected like flour or anything! So juicy and flavorful and paired excellent with the Lao gan ma-like chili oil they provided. I hope they come to farmer markets closer to Seattle!

We ordered the #3 Happy Meal Combo which gives a sampler of dim sum items + sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. Everything was traditional and tasted good. The food arrived hot and spring rolls crispy. The price was decent for the items received. The wait was quite long and we were standing outside in the cold rain. Obviously, since it is a food truck, seating and parking cannot really be described. I'd still personally rather eat my dim sum at a real restaurant, but this is a decent alternative when that isn't available.

(Oftentimes, publishers loop Indian and Pakistani cuisine into the same category.) Before we get into the food, I must praise their fully covered seating area that houses five tables. Even in the rain and wind, you can enjoy your meal in a completely sheltered space! Any Washingtonian knows how important this is, especially during the wet months. Three of us arrived for lunch around noon and it was surprisingly quiet. No one else was by the truck nor at the neighboring Tikka Masala restaurant. One employee manned the truck, graciously welcomed us and we chatted with him briefly about the menu. He informed us of the most popular items and mentioned his favorite, "The Boti To My Roti" (chicken wrap). I was so close to ordering the "A Bihari Affair" (beef wrap), but when he said that was too spicy for him, that told me all I needed to hear. I wasn't going to take any chances, haha. Our order took about 20 minutes to prepare, which is pretty long considering we were the only customers. However, I had read about the wait times in other reviews and the one guy was cooking everything by himself, so I didn't mind hanging out for a bit. + BOTI TO MY ROTI ($12.95): Pieces of marinated chicken and slices of pickled onion rolled up in a roti flatbread. The chicken was lean and super tender, with a slight smoky flavor, and covered in what seemed to be a garlicky yogurt sauce with Indian spices. It had a mild spice and I liked the slight tartness from the onion. The roti was light and was a great vessel for the saucy filling. + CHIPAS ($5.95): This side of fries was deliciously seasoned and drizzled in a garlic mayo. They were hot and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. + EK DUM KARAK ($3.85): A piping hot cup of chai tea served with a biscuit. This was such a comforting drink on a cold day. The menu stated it's extra strong, which I didn't quite notice while drinking, but I did feel a little jittery later in the day. The biscuit was like a lighter and crispier version of a biscotti and nice to dip in the chai. Their menu also features various types of burgers and I hear they also serve a weekend brunch. My main qualm is just that the pricing is on the steeper side for their burgers and wraps, which are at least $12.95 each. All together, three of us got two rotis, one burger, one side of fries and two chai teas, totaling $53! My roti wrap was enough for me, but I think the average person would still be hungry after eating only that. Pakistani eateries are not abundant at all on the Eastside, so I'd still recommend giving Lari Adda a try if you're looking for something new and unique.

I couldn't decide which roll to order, so I got one of each: chicken, paneer, mushroom, and aloo. My favorite is the chicken roll and aloo roll. Both were full of great flavors and came with a generous amount of protein and veggies. The roti was also delicious. It's dense and held everything in place so it wasn't messy to eat at all. Note that the mild spice level was actually pretty spicy for me. It wasn't a problem, but I definitely was not expecting something this spicy. I would recommend the rolls over pav bahji as it's not as flavorful as the rolls. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I would definitely come back for the chicken and aloo rolls!

Lunch always gets busy as I sometimes walk to office and spot this food truck on the way with long lines. Fortunately, they also allow online ordering so you can place the order ahead of time and pick up in person afterwards, instead of trying for the kiosks in person. I got the triple pod with chili chicken, paneer masala, and aloo gobi, as well as chicken half rice pod which is basically a small-medium sized rice dish that is enough for a light one meal. The pods were good - fairly healthy with generous amounts of vegetables, but not much of the actual fillings. The rice was also good, with a lot of sauce and some cilantro chutney, but you can also grab more to-go as part of the station where you grab napkins. Overall, decent spot, a bit on the pricy side, but popular due to proximity.
