We sat on the outside veranda which offered a quite, peaceful lunch with only the wind through the trees making any noise. My friend and I enjoyed several beers with my favorite being the Erdinger Weissbier. Our waitress spoke excellent English and was very nice. The hotel is good, with traditionally smaller rooms than you would find in America, but this is Europe. There did not seem to be air conditioning, so the room got a little hot during the night. Also, the bed left something to be desired with regards to comfortable mattresses. In the morning, the hotel offered a spectacular European breakfast, replete with sliced procuitto, melon, and cake. The schnitzel, while served as two pieces versus one giant piece, was decently (but not perfectly) executed. Crispy, somewhat tender meat (could have been more tender) and a very flavorful sauce with fresh mushrooms. The spätzle was soft and buttery. Almost melted in my mouth.
