The staff were friendly and were trying their best to help us. I'm glad they had a separate English menu because we needed Google translate to communicate. It appears to be a traditional German restaurant and bar. The bar was busy which appeared to be more of the locals, while the dining room crowd was thin for an 830 pm crowd. Our waitress was very helpful. Our dinner came with a salad buffet. We had wine with our dinner which included lobster soup, Veal escalope, and the shrimp scampi. Our take home experience was very positive. We were happy to have a good dinner and enjoy the local hospitality.

I have personally asked whether British Sports Clubs would be welcome to call and the reply was as long as they can order a glass of beer in German that this will be the only requirement which is stated below. At any time that there are customers at the bar I am sure that Herr Hoffmann will be delighted to serve you. Hotel itself je really basic but everything is maintained and clean, its better to prefer Comfort room, because it more quiet. From hotel with own kitchen I would expected more inspiring breakfast especiali in pastry and bread selection. Restaurant was fine, but be careful what you order, German cuissin is not syple and too much ingredients does not alwas mean the best meal. I would reccomend this place for very nice and helpful staff which gave us nice overview about things to do in area. After our visite in Trier, we were glad for this choice in more guiet location.
