If I could rate 0 I would. I will never be back, the girls in the window are gossiping while taking payments paying no attention to customers. I asked for a blue coconut no cream I got my order it had cream and they charged me for it. I told them that's not what I asked for and had them remake it and refund me the dollar considering it's way overpriced anyway. I got my second order and took one spoonful out of it to see that there was no syrup inside I had to turn around and go back and ask them to actually fill it the lady rolled her eyes and definitely started laughing and talking shit while I waited for it. read more

dangerously delicious. I say this because this is the best shave ice that I have found outside of Hawaii. I would give it a 5 star, but I have to dock it one because my husband ordered the passion fruit flavor and both of us swore it tasted like cherry. The combo with ice cream is key. read more

I tried to resolve my issue with this location after contacting corporate, but they don't seem to care too much so I will post my experience here so everyone can beware!!!! I went in mid early October 2019 and they have an environmental health permit to operate that expired in September of 2018. This permit is good for one full year, and it is one year expired. Do what you want with that information. read more

I have mixed experience with this location. The shop is right next to my apartment and wanted to try here for a long time. Finally decided to give it a try and went couple of weeks ago. I was overwhelmed with the options available. Finally made up my mind after trying four different flavors and decided to go with hurricane colada ( I like fruit flavors) and the guy (sorry I don't remember his name) suggested to make it Bahama Rama Mama ( layer of ice cream at the bottom) and I am very GLAD I took advice. The taste was out of the world !!!! It was too good, I went again the next week and ordered a different flavor( this time there was a lady who suggested me this) and the output was a big NO NO !!! The shaved ice was very soggy and before I reached home the taste was OK but the consistency was very bad. It looks like too much syrup. Moral of the story - I think your experience depends on who prepares your drink. I hope they train all their employees and make sure we get the same great taste every time !!!! read more

I have loved bahama bucks ever since I was a kid, but this is the WORST location I have ever visited in my life (and I've visited a lot). I decided to treat myself to a snow cone last month after an exam. I was disappointed because I was given a grape snow cone rather than blueberry muffin. I nicely explained that they gave me grape rather than blueberry muffin, but they immediately tried to gaslight me and insisted that it was blueberry muffin. I've been getting that flavor for over 10 years so I think I know what it's supposed to taste like lol. I decided to try this location again tonight as I received a coupon and it's the closest to where I live. The employee who took my payment was very standoffish and seemed put off that I had a coupon like it was too much work (I was the only one in line). I ordered an horchata snow cone, and I was disappointed as soon as I tasted it because I instantly knew it was not horchata. I'm not sure why mixing up flavors is a regular occurrence at this location. I 100% recommend Happy's snow cones over bahama bucks!! read more

Snow cones. Perfectly. Everytime. If you snow cone isn't awesome and done just amazingly just let the cheerful staff know and they will make it right with a smile on their face. They snow is finely powdered right in front of you. They have so many flavors and mix ins and toppings. I am a banana kind of girl. I have gotten artificial banana snow cones since forever. I have tried other flavors that my friends have gotten and they are scrumptious. Another great thing is the fact that they are aren't just open for summer. They are open year round. If the temperature is under 50 degrees you get two stamps on your reward card, 3 stamps for under 40 degrees and 4 stamps for under 30 degrees. You get a free snow once your card is filled up. This is also a really great first job place. The company is great about hiring highschoolers to help them learn work ethic. read more

Although I've never really enjoyed snow cones, I've come to love Bahama Bucks. The staff is always upbeat and very friendly. Even the way they greet you is genuine and not rehearsed. I had previously restricted myself to the smoothies, which were exceptional, but after some prodding from a friend, I tried a Thin Ice and was wonderfully surprised by the flavor. I've become a regular and try different flavors routinely. This is a place I would highly recommend for dessert, and you have to love that it started right here in Lubbock. read more

Bahama Buck's is a family fave. They have soda, snows, frozen lemonade, smoothies, coffee drinks, something for everyone! We love the super sour flavors (cherry and apple).
