The food was plentiful. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast. It was layered with spinach & tomatoes (which both I never have liked until this time), melted cheeses over mashed potatoes with lemon butter sauce . I also ordered a Frozen Bahamarita which had sauna tequila, kiwi, strawberry, and mango juice. Honestly, I have used more alcohol in the drink but it was still good. Lastly, I ordered a dessert, Dulce De Leche Cheese Cake! It was service with caramel cream and fresh fruit! When I say amazing, I do mean just that! The waitress, ivana, was absolutely the best. Honestly, I really didn't want all of the food because it was soo plentiful but because we liked her & all of her suggestions so far, we continued to order! I loved it. Seriously, I did. read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant experience. It was my first time getting a taste of the 'breeze'. Haha. Our waitress was super outgoing and she memorized our entire order! I was skeptical at first that she'd get it wrong, but the food came out just as we had asked. I got the almond crusted red grouper with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was so tasty! The almond crusted fish had a slightly sweet buttery sauce and went perfectly with the garlic mashed. I would definitely come back and get the same thing. My date had the tilapia with mango salsa, which I tried and wasn't a huge fan of - my order was definitely better. But very good overall experience and we only waited 20 minutes on a Friday night to get a table. read more

Those 25% off the bill cards sparked my interest and a spur of the moment date sealed the deal. First impression? The place is a whole lot bigger than it looks from Pleasant Hill Rd. There's definitely an island feel about the decoration and they play Caribbean music (reggae, son, salsa, etc) throughout. The lighting is low and there are plenty of nooks and crannies to offer privacy for an intimate night out. Not that it wouldn't be good for groups. Think Cheesecake Factory, but Caribbean...fied. Yeah. Not a word, but you get it. Our waitress Taliha was very warm and welcoming, and quick to lend her hand once told that it was my first visit. I kind of got the impression that people come more for the drinks than the food, since about 60% of the menu is just that...drinks! We ordered the Jumbo Crab Lump Stack as an appetizer. Not so jumbo, but really good (layers of shrimp, crap, avocado, pineapple salsa, etc). I had the Grilled Salmon Salad on a Tostada as my entree and it will probably be my staple order for when I revisit. SO good. And so big! I had enough left over for one more night. Bottom line? If you want hardcore Caribbean food, go to the hole in the wall spot across town run by your best friend's mother's cousin's sun-tanned uncle. If you're willing to put up with some Caribbean/North American fusion, good music, relaxing atmosphere and great food, then this is the place to try. read more

The food is not that great and it's quite pricey. However, the drinks are amazing. I also like the fact that they have outdoor sitting.

Let me be clear. I go here for the drinks - specifically, the Pina Colada and Ultimate Colada. The latter has strawberry ice mixed into the regular version and I discovered on my last trip that it's this ice that takes away from the smooth consistency. So now I go with the plain ol' Pina Colada. It is the smoothest, sweetest, tastiest frozen drink I've EVER (yes, EVER) had. In fact, it's ruined me 'cause everywhere else appears to use a crap blender that leaves behind gi-normous ice chunks. I have yet to encounter one of these rogue chunks in a BB Pina. And I've had quite a few, I can assure you. Perhaps it's the shot of rum on top of the drink, but everything tastes good after a sip or two. I stick to a few standard dishes - Jerk Shrimp w/Cuban Bread and the Chicken Quesadilla/Breeze Salad lunch combo. The former is a hit or miss depending on how long they toast the bread and how hot the shrimp dish is served. The lunch combo, however, has been excellent every time I've had it. The pumpkin seeds on the salad give it a delicious kick and the Tropical Vinaigrette dressing is absolutely delicious. My favorite salad hands down. Between the hefty portions and the drinks, I always leave satisfied. I can vouch for the Onion Rings (a HUGE serving) and the Chicken Tortilla soup (?), both of which are pretty doggone good as well. I don't diversify and can't say I've had anything else here. Yes, it's a chain restaurant. Yes, the decor is cheesy. No, the menu selection is not the best and is in fact far from authentic Caribbean. Nonetheless, I'll continue to make the 35 minute drive every other week or so and pay $6.25 a piece for the best da*n Pina Colada in the Southeast. read more

Love the food, help is great, very friendly, but this place gets noisier and more obnoxious every time we come. You just keep bringing drinks to tables that have obviously had enough, then pipe in the music so load that these fools feel the need to yell to be heard over it! I swear I've been in quieter chuckle cheese restaurants. I have always looked at this as a classier type place, your present atmosphere is becoming college bar at best read more

This was my first time here and it was really good. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. The place was packed but luckily I made reservations so we didn't have to wait when we got there. The service was fast we didn't have to wait long for anything we ordered. The drinks were delicious I had a bahamarita. The food was extremely good too I had the lobster shrimp linguine and my boyfriend had jerk chicken pasta and the rum cake for dessert was the best ever. Our waiter suggested we have the rum cake and it was a great choice. read more

This was my first time going to any Bahama Breeze location. I've always wanted to try it, but was afraid it would be "too fancy, too pricey." Well, it wasn't! In fact it's one of my Favorites now! Presentation: (Keep in mind, we dig into the food before I realized to take a picture) The presentation was a 10/10! Everything our server brought out looked REALLY tasty and professional. Customer service: 10/10! Our server (forgot her name) recommended half of what we ordered. She guided us through the menu, and was very patient and friendly. Flavor of Food: 10/10! We ordered the Firecracker Shrimp as an Appetizer and the mix of crunchy and spicy made our mouth water even more. My Fiancé ordered a Jerk Chicken Sandwich with fries as an entree. His was very juicy and flavorful. I ordered Shrimp and Lobster Quesadillas. It had sweet bell peppers mixed in and was extremely filling. In fact, I had leftovers that tasted just as good as the first bite! Since it was our 3 year anniversary, we told the waitress we were finally able to sit down and have a date night. She brought us our desert free of charge! Strawberry and mango Sorbet! It was the best Sorbet I've ever had! Very refreshing. I would highly recommend coming here read more

Pretty much every time I come to Atlanta, I eat the Jamaican jerk chicken at least once. Either that, or I just complain about the fact that I haven't had them since I'd gotten there. I love Bahama Breeze. This is probably one of my top three favorite restaurants. This location has great servers, great food, and great drinks. I tried the new Island Breeze with the take home glass and wish I had another. The drinks here are some of the best I've had. Everything is so tasty. For this trip I had Jerk Chicken Pasta, Lobster & Shrimp Quesadillas and the new Yuca Fries with cheese. Everything was a 5/5! They also send great deals if you sign up with them online. This visit I used a $10 off of $40 dollars purchase coupon and it was well worth it. They also have free desert coupons every now and then as well. I love Bahama Breeze! read more

The wait to order was long, since our waitress got caught up by a large group, although she seemed like a nice girl, another waitress was kind enough after 10 minutes to come by and take our orders. However, when someone brought my husband's salad he didn't bring any dressing and it took another 10 minutes to flag someone down to bring dressing, and he took forever and after 10 minutes our food came out, before he ever returned. So, there was no need for the salad. I ordered the Steak Oscar and my husband the Mahi Mahi. The steak Oscar was very good, however it lacked some basic salt and pepper. The Mahi Mahi was both bland and dried out. It was obvious the chef hadn't tasted either of the dishes, or put extra effort to ensure the food didn't dry out. Quite a pricy dinner for what we got. read more

Bad review, turned amazing!!!!! So let's start by saying I have been coming to this location for years. The service has always been inconsistent. Me and my fiancé would come in one month and be blown away and the very next month receive service that is just below ok. We always eat the same items, which are for her the jerk pasta with a side salad which is great and for me grilled salmon, with broccoli and mashed potatoes covered in the white cheese they use for her pasta. One thing we noticed when first eating here was how great there salads were. They tasted amazing with the pumpkin seeds and rolled up cucumbers, and the little triangle cracker, it was unlike any salad we have ever had. Just recently we went and the salad was awful, it was full of the part of the salad you don't eat and that's the reason for ordering a salad in the first place, for it to be fresh and full. This night both of our salads were like the bottom of the barrel, I don't even understand how they could present this to a customer. Other than that the entree's were great which is the main reason we come back because the service is hit or miss. The night we went on was a Thursday night and the wait was about 10 minutes which wasn't bad at all. So they decided It was best to sit me and my fiancé behind a party, which is always a horrible decision. We couldn't even hear each talk. So when the waiter came to get us drinks I suggested another seat away from a party. The waiter then got agitated and sounded as if he wanted to tell us that was his only option. The he rudely said well you guys will have to go back upfront and wait. Then shortly after handed us off to another associate that had absolutely no urgency at all and almost acted as if she was confused on where we were going. I'm saying all this to say it's a great place to eat around lunch time but for dinner find somewhere else to dine because the service/food you receive is literally night and day. Terrible display in my last visit please get the salads back to where they were and please instruct associates that your guest are customers and they should be treated with a sense of care and urgency. If it's too people 100% of the time they don't want to sit behind a large loud group of people, not anyone's idea of a peaceful evening, and if staffing was the reason for the upper left section was forbidden please get it staffed to better serve your guest. That is all!!! First off let me start by saying I really appreciate this particular location reaching out to me about my bad experience. So me and my girlfriend decided to go back because we really love their food. This time everything was perfect no complaints at all. We had a great waitress this time named Daizah who gave us amazing service. Me and my girlfriend both ordered our usual, for me the classic grilled salmon, with broccoli and mashed potatoes covered in the white cheese from the graters. My girlfriend ordered the jerk chicken pasta, with a virgin bahamarita. The food was cooked perfectly, and the salad was so fresh and full. The service received was amazing. Job well done!!! read more

My friends and I came here after our plan to go to the movies was a bust. Normally when we come to Bahama Breeze it is always packed and the wait is unusually long. But when we walked in, we got seated right away. Our waiter immediately came over and introduced himself as "Jay" and took our drink orders. My friends got the Bahama Mama and I got the Pina Colada. I normally get the Bahama Mama and quickly wished that I did. The Pina Colada was way too sweet and there was no alcohol in it. I thought about sending it back but I just slowly sipped on it. The waiter took our food orders and one of my friends had some questions about the menu and. He answered them with no problems. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was hot and fresh. I got my usual Buttermilk Fried Chicken and it was very hot and fresh. The chicken had just came out of the grease and the mashed potatoes were hot too. I had enough leftover to take for lunch the next day and it was still good. We had a great time at Bahama Breeze and whenever we're in the area we come and have a great experience. I can't wait to go back again! read more

I absolutely love Bahama Breeze. (SN: Every time my mom visits from up north, she makes me take her here.) So, after many wonderful visits, I stopped in again with some friends. We sat on the heated patio and listened to Caribbean music. The atmosphere here is great. I ordered my usual, Calypso Shrimp Linguini. It has never failed me. The spices are just right and the bread that they serve with it is perfectly buttery. Nine of the 10 or so times that I have had this dish, it has been perfect. This last go round was a little questionable but, we are all entitled to a mess-up now and then. Make no mistake, this is not authentic Caribbean food but, it is good. read more

This place is down the street from where I work so we've been here a few times for happy hour and we've always gotten good service, tasty 1/2 priced appetizers and ridiculously sugarey drinks which is exactly what you're looking for at happy hour. Best app is the shrimp and crab mango salad - the one seafood item I've had done really well everytime. read more

So here is the deal. Bahama Breeze has it's Pros and Cons. For a restaurant, I think the entree menu is very weak. I mean come on, Salmon and cheese pasta? What are they thinking?!?! My friends and I simply come here for the drinks and appetizer. They have an open bar and some great appetizers. Order two and that can be your meal. I recommend: Roasted Cuban Bread: Cuban bread smothered with herb butter, topped with marinated, juicy tomatoes, a little Parmesan and fresh basil. Simply, flavorful and very addictive. Grilled Wings: These wings are perfection. The outside is dry, therefore the skins crispy while the inside is juicy. You have to get this. Pros: - Good location with plenty of parking spaces. - Live music. - There is a patio with a bar that is open during the summer. - Although the bar specializes in "Tropical Flavors", it is an open bar, so you can get anything if you aren't feeling exotic. - They have a solid appetizer menu. - Overall, good customer service. Cons: - The entree menu is very weak. - There can be a long wait for a table. read more

The wife and I decided to stop in for a bite to eat tonight. Wrong decision. Before I go any further I'll tell you that the service itself was fantastic. Our waiter was not the problem. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp, black bean soup, and the guac and chips. She liked the soup and shrimp but the guac lacked any seasoning and the plantain chips were not even on the plate. When we asked about them we were first told they were out of them but later the manager brings a little bowl of them. Now I ordered the Seafood Paella. When I got it I had to send it back and order something else. The rice had no flavor or crust as it should the shrimp and mussels were over cooked and the temperature was off. When the manager brought the plantains he gave me some excuse about there being hundreds of ways to cook paella. I had them replace the paella with the chicken sandwich and fries with a side of their habanero BBQ sauce. Again disappointed the chicken lacked seasoning which I was able to cover up with the BBQ sauce and the fries were not even salted. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

We frequently come here for lunch and I feel very uncomfortable with the employees wearing masks. In my opinion there is no reason for masks to be worn. A lot of other restaurants are open with have no rules or regulations due to Covid 19. It should be at the employees discretion if they want to wear a mask or not, I cannot even understand what the waiter or waitress is saying when taking a order. It's not sanitary and un safe in my opinion to wear a mask, it serves no purpose but breathing your own germs and not fully allowing your immune system to do its job! read more

Happened to find this place after a late flight in. We got in during the "island time" (read happy hour) and got half off appetizers which was a good value. We tried the pork sliders, fried chicken sliders, Jamaican jerk chicken wings, chicken quesadilla, and coconut shrimp. Most of it was what you would expect for this type of place, but I thought the chicken sliders were the standout among the rest. It was also an interesting night with a loud drunkard and some young group of girls that were dressed like they were looking for trouble, and then the cop who showed up to deal with the drunk guy. Was entertaining. Would come here again if I'm ever around late. read more

I've been here many, many times for lunch, dinner and late night. My last visit wasn't quite up to par, though. The greeters didn't ask if we wanted to dine on the patio, and it turns out that the inside was cold and not comfortable. While leaving we all commented on how nice and warm it was outside. Also, the kitchen and bar service was a little slow, and this was the first time that I got a lousy bartender at Bahama Breeze. I have always found their cocktails to be very consistent but their bartender seemed be in training and I was the brunt of his/her inexperience. Drinks are a BIG reason for coming here, so I was naturally disappointed. The food was good, as was the waitress. I can only hope that their shortcomings were a fluke and not the beginning of a trend here... read more
