A very good bagel joint in Woodside that has more then just bagels which is why they have plus in its name .Besides a good selection of bagels and spread they have a variety of sandwiches, wraps , panini, omelettes, smoothies, juices , coffee, and much more and prices are really reasonable. Egg whites with tomatoes on a sesame bagel and fruit smoothie is what I will have this morning and both get 2 thumbs up. Good amount of tables inside if you want to eat it and damn that veggie omelette platter my cuz got looks really good . Bagel plus is the name and it fits .4.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Lately, I've been obsessed with bagels since I live just a few blocks away. Why not give it a try? I ordered an everything bagel with butter. The bagel was very dry, and they didn't give enough butter. The lady at the front was not friendly at all. read more

Ate here today for lunch while working as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 361 Q. I had brought and ate the pastrami sandwich with a bag of onion chips and grapeade that it tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and super fast. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time. read more

I ordered bagel with strawberry cream cheese to go. When I came home, I opened the bag and I just never seen a bagel like this before. Cream cheese was so watered down it literally just dripped all over. Taste wise, it just wasn't right. I had to just throw it away. In addition, people there weren't friendly. read more

The girl working there gots a problem. I asked for a menu. They gave me the menu. I looked. The lox and cream cheese bagel said 10.99 so I ordered it. When it was done the girl working there said it's 14.99. I said it's not. I showed her the price. Then she look at me with a smirk and said well the price changed. I ain't gonna play that game. So enjoy that bagel. read more

On my hunt to finding the perfect bagel I found this place. It just re-opened and it was pretty busy. The had a large selection pastries and danishes but they definitely were not made there because they were all individually wrapped. They had a decent selection of bagels which I really think that they made there. The bagels had were solid and had a great sheen to them. They were pretty decent size and we're about an inch or more thick. They were thick. I bought a couple of bagels (sesame and pumpernickel) at $1 a piece. If you are a bagel scooper (you know who you are) then these are perfect for you. I personally like to eat the whole bagel and thought it was bready but it's better than a supermarket bagel. read more

Im not sure how this place is still in business. They are extremely stingy with everything, while charging exorbitant prices. Food quality is also terrible, highly do not recommend. Take a look at what I received for breakfast, it seems like they used half of one egg lol read more

This place has fallen downhill over the last few years, or maybe it's always been this way. This place reeks of greediness and the owner does not make this place one bit better--it's the guy who is always at the register that can't care to crack a smile, doesn't greet you, and treats you like you're only a number, good for your money. Worst yet, he has even opened my sandwich with his nasty, ungloved hands to check what it was because he couldn't hear me well--yup, his money-touching hands was just the quintessential finishing ingredient I needed to fill my empty stomach. The workers who make your food, on the other hand, are actually quite friendly and nice. They're quick and efficient and really answer to your needs. When my food isn't touched with bare hands, I quite enjoy their bagel sandwiches. read more

The food here is pretty good and consistent. This place is always busy so I recommend you call in your order.

Have no idea what salt bagels are. Just had a lengthy conversation almost argument as to whether or not they had salt bagels you said "yes I have plain everything how many do you want" I said 'no I need I would like salt bagels" "yeah I have plain and everything how many do you want" a bagel place that has no idea that salt within the bagel is not the same as salt bagels is ridiculous. read more

Bagels were good. Good vegetable to cream cheese ratio. Bagels are fluffy. The place was clean & the people were nice.

I used to come here and get French toast until they started charging me extra and calling it their own tax..never ordered there again. Lying and stealing is unnecessary. They'll label your items as 'grocery' instead of what it actually is when doing so read more

Wouldn't recommend this bagel shop to my worst enemy. You're called bagels plus but the worst thing you guys do is make a bagel. The sandwiches are horrible the cream cheese is a thin layer. And you're paying a midtown Manhattan price for everything on top of that. read more

I come here almost every day and get the worst customer service from the two cashiers. The latest two heavy hispanic girls. All the other staff are great. These two need to find another job. Went inside to order Cream cheese with salmon and coffee. 1st time customer. While I was waiting, the guy on the Deli side asked me what I wanted, I said the coffee I wanted and he dismissed it. He told me I had to order it from the cashier. Then he asked what I wanted to eat, and I said salmon with creme cheese in a bagel. He asked toasted and I said no. Apparently only the cashier makes the coffee and the rest make the sandwiches. They gave me my order and I took it home, only to find out that the salmon was missing from the cream cheese with salmon that I specifically ordered. I had to walk 5 blocks back and speak to the manager. He apologized and said to call them and they'll send a delivery guy to bring me my order if they mess up again. Gee thanks. I informed them that it was my first time there, the manager apologized again. One of the guys that does the sandwiches kept staring me down while I waited for my food. Don't you have something else to do besides staring at unsatisfied customers? When I left, some weird guy sitting down asked to talk to me but I left the place out of frustration of having to walk back home. read more

This place has a decent tasting food, nothing to boast about, which is fine and I'm okay with it. But the price really don't match the quatily of food or the service. The manager/ owner's attitude is not what I'm interested in when I'm ordering my food. And the lady behind the counter isn't far behind. This place can improve a lot if they can get a better management, which I don't think is ever going to happen. read more

Welcome to Mr. Krabs' Bagels Plus. I've been living in Woodside for the past 11 years and this is our place to go when we want bagels. The bagels are really good, it's what one would expect from a NY-bagel. This is what everyone talks about. Unfortunately a couple of years ago the shop was sold and a different owner came to town. The new owner is a snake, cheap as hell. He would do everything in his power to save a penny. Extra ham will cost you $2 (you get only one slice of ham), so are extra egg. A dozen of bagels costs $10, but if you order 10 bagels he will also charge you $10 and he will get mad at their employees for telling you to take 2 more. It doesn't matter if you've been a client for a decade, the guy doesn't care. He will be rude and treat you poorly. At least Mr. Krabs is funny, this guy is not. read more

Best bagels and coffee in Queens. Service with a smile . Assorted cream cheeses and a must stop to start your morning or a road

This place recently reopened and I don't know what the heck happened. I guess the new people they hired have just never worked with sandwiches before? I would give them the benefit of the doubt if they were super busy when I went, but that was not the case. I mean.. when you have a menu of sandwiches, I'm shocked to be asked multiple times what comes on the sandwich (from their own menu). Then when I was paying, the person on the register seemed to be making up prices. First my sandwich was $6 + $0.50 for each topping (side note: 50 cents for lettuce? are you serious?). Then when i brought that up it changed to $9, which is the price of a sandwich on hero not a roll. Lastly, I had 2 drinks. The person on the register didn't include those in the order, so they were added on as tip (this has happened two different times). I miss the old Bagels Plus and really hope this new one gets it together. read more

I've been coming to this bagel shop for close to ten years. The quality of the bagels has gradually declined over the course of the years. The bagels are burnt and stale most days now. But what really brings me here is the absolutely awful costumer service being provided by the owner. I was literally scolded by the owner over the phone for not answering either my door or my phone (my door was never rang) and later I found out he had not actually written my apartment number on the ticket. One star for Bagels Plus. The second star goes to the hard working guys in the back who are always fast and attentive. The owner could take a lesson on costumer service from those guys. read more

It's the neighborhood bagel shop. Bagels are OK it's just annoying that they started to charge $0.15 for toasting. I mentioned recently they are open until 9 p.m. as they use to close by 5:30 p.m. I guess they will be hurting from the upcoming Dunkin Donuts shop across the street that will be opening up soon and they are trying to find new way to serve the neighborhood. I would like them to do well as small business so I would suggest they work on better quality Bagels, Pricing and listen to your customers and wave $0.15 toasting charge as most of your customers are annoyed by it. Improve your menu and be more flexible with credit cards charges.Good luck! read more

Food is okay, not the best tasting but it is not gross either. I agree about the other reviewers, the owner is pretty nasty (to customers and also his staff). Also you have to be careful on the prices, the cashiers either don't know the prices or they are trying to take your money because they will charge a higher price unless you tell them it's wrong (then they'll give an excuse that what you ordered costs more) but I confirmed with another employee the next day not he price and I was right the cashier was trying to overcharge me. I gave one star for the food and the other star because the guys that actually make your food are nice. read more

I used to order regularly from here, when I worked down the block, this was about 2007 or so. Since then the bagel quality has steadily decreased, and they are just pieces of hard dough with holes in them. They were hit hard by rising commodity prices and the increasing cost of coffee beans, but their overall quality is lacking. Back in 2007, the bagels were awesomeness, soft and warm and perfect but now I can't even finish one of them, They taste like cardboard now. If you want awesome bagels, check out Bagelsmith in Brooklyn on Bedford Ave! read more

My go to Bagel place in the morning. Nothing special, delicious breakfast sandwiches, decent service. As to the people asking why they charge to toast a bagel, as a food service person it's mostly because of the time needed. Now I know someone is going to say you just pop it in and take it out, no cost, but time is money, even twenty seconds, even more when it throws their momentum off, especially when many people are waiting because someone wants it a certain shade of golden brown. With that being said I get my breakfast sandwiches on a toasted AND buttered bagel, and gladly pay extra for it :) Prices do vary depending on who rings you up each day, but not by much. I don't think it's malicious, just no good system in place. read more

I'm more thankful for this the idea of this store than the actual goods they serve. Fabulous to have a bagel shop right around the corner - sucky that their breakfast sandwiches are not amazing. I went mid-morning the other day and they had pretty much ran out of almost every bagel. And they only have fake tabasco. Check out guy was on the phone, didn't acknowledge me while he rang me up, gave me a heeeavey sigh when I attempted to kill him with kindness by Minnesota nicely saying "thank you" - he rolled his important eyes and continued with his customer is always wrong conversation - Lame. read more

I am a big fan of bagels and not moving on Sundays. When I lived in Astoria, I was spoiled by Brooklyn Bagel delivery but alas, they will no longer deliver to me even though I am less than a mile away from the Broadway location. I know because I've definitely begged them to reconsider. I've found a suitable replacement in Bagels Plus which has whole wheat everything bagels, jalapeno cream cheese and amazing prices. I ordered two egg, sausage and cheese bagels, two bagels with jalapeno cream cheese, a large coffee and a chocolate milk and it was around $16 delivered to me. One day, my order was around $5 and they still delivered right to my door. Everything is always fresh and hot, but I believe they only take cash. All that being said, the bagels themselves are not the scrumptious, fluffy-yet-crispy, perfect bagels found elsewhere in New York. They are also not the flat, flavorless, strange dough circles found at certain chain coffee stores. These bagels are somewhere in between but just perfect for those lazy Sundays that fill my life. read more

Recently I have been grabbing a quick breakfast from them on the weekends while on the go. The place isn't super fancy, but their sandwiches speak for themselves!! I haven't been able to digest bagels in recent years (probably the reason I stopped coming here for a little while) but I am able to order a bacon, egg, & cheese on croissant instead while my bf grabs his bagel fix & tries ordering new combinations every visit we make. For under $13 two people can grab a hearty breakfast with 2 drinks & walk away full & satisfied and not "overly stuffed". For those looking for a "lighter option" their smoothies & shakes are not to be missed!! read more
