Owner doesn't follow health and safety protocols. He's all about politics. But if you're looking for Gummies, he's your dealer. He catered a wedding the food was awful, cold just bland. Pasta was staged in ziplock bags. Staff didn't even show up on time to setup. Wedding ceremony was over and guest were returning to staff running around trying to setup tables. They didn't even set out cutlery, the groom ran around providing guest with the utensils needed to unfortunately eat disgusting food. The staff cleared tables as we sat eating and drinking. So I'll agree with all the previous poor reviews. The bagels are mediocre at best (I would say bad) but what really makes this place anti-shine is the people that work there. There's usually a teenager or two who don't entirely suck, but the 'adults' in charge should never be permitted to be customer facing. Horrible attitude, rude to anyone who isn't a regular etc. Add to this my experience from today, during covid, and that's really all I need to know to NEVER come back. Walk in to get two bagel sandwiches and there are 5 people in the store: 3 behind the counter, one sitting in the back of the store, and one customer. Of the three behind the counter, you've got the two adults not bothering to wear masks at all (one had it around her neck...not doing much good there), and a teenager who was actually doing the right thing. Guy in back? No mask at all. Other customer? Had to lift her mask up over her nose because apparently they wanted to give her a piece of cheese to eat while she was waiting. I told them I no longer wanted my sandwiches, and was told that the police would be called since they had already cracked an egg...and that masks didn't work anyway. I can only assume that the blonde woman behind the counter was one of the owners of the joint so I'm sure nothing will be done, but that woman should be chucked out on her butt rather than allowing her to face customers. Want a good bagel/bagel sandwich? Go 10 minutes away to another place on 202 (yelp doesn't permit me to list another business by name), just south of Old York Road. Better sandwich, a store that doesn't smell like dead cat, and people behind the counter who are friendly and willing to abide by the governor's executive order, whether they agree with it or not. This place was great and I was a customer for years but I refuse to go here anymore during covid because the owner Danny refuses to wear a mask ever in his own business. If you also believe that covid is made up this is a great place to go you can listen to the owner talk about his conspiracy theory's without a mask on. I will say though the food was always good here and the girl who works here is super nice and does wear a mask. Unfortunately the owner puts politics and conspiracy theories before his customers health so I will not be returning to this establishment any time soon. read more

Stopped in to grab 2 bagels, everything with butter and everything with lox spread, both not toasted. Place was NOT crowded, and it took a half an hour. There is no organization what so ever. Cashier was very rude last time I came in. Was waiting patiently to order (by the way, the two women behind the counter take FOREVER and will also have a side conversation for a good five minutes before even acknowledging you) and by the time it was my turn to put an order, she looked to my left as I am standing right in front of her at the counter and took care of another customer who had literally just walked in. I was really annoyed at this and said something. either she has a hearing issue or pretended not to hear me but I had essentially called her out on it. She made up some excuse that made no sense since she definitely saw me waiting before this guy walked in. Didn't even apologize which probably would have alleviated things somewhat. The other customer just giggled at me when I stated that I was actually waiting and on line first. Don't care if you get regulars a lot or if you hate your job, but don't treat your customers like that. Rude people don't make me want to come back anywhere, i don't care if the place is a 5 star restaurant. Also, the food is decent at best. Bagelicious (aka Danny's Bagelicious and Catering) catered my wedding recently. The staff were all extremely helpful. They put my centerpieces, napkins, and tablecloths out and made the tables look INCREDIBLE. Making picnic tables look that good is no easy task, but they made it happen. The staff was also very friendly and polite. They worked at a quick and efficient pace. I have nothing bad to say about the staff and would gladly welcome their services at future parties. The menu listed on the website is apparently seasonal. At the time, the menu listed was a wide variety of BBQ and grilled foods. We were looking for something a bit more traditional and Danny was extremely helpful and accommodating with our requests. Everything from the Greek salad to the potatoes to the penne was BEYOND DELICIOUS. They weren't kidding when they named the place bagelicious, because all of their food is most certainly delicious. We had some family members make a special appetizer and they had no problem heating it up and serving it for us. Again, AMAZING SERVICE! We had brought our own alcohol and used them for the sodas. They allowed us to share their giant cooler (about 5 ft x 2.5 ft), which made our lives so much easier. We were wondering how many coolers it would take to keep that much beer and wine cold. Not only did they allow us to share the cooler, they restocked the beer when they noticed it was low. When it came to desert we had decided to do something a little special. During planning we were told about an ice cream cart/bar that they have. It's essentially a cold stone mix in type of thing. IT WAS THE HIT OF THE PARTY! And such a unique thing to have. Everyone really enjoyed the food and would gladly eat it again. Not only was the catering amazing, but their bagels are incredible too!!!! I have had the pleasure of eating bagels from Bagelicious since Danny took it over. They are always fresh and very tasty. Since I do not live in the area, I always get extras to freeze for later. Even reheated they retain their fresh qualities and that great taste. You will not be displeased if you decided to use their catering services or if you drop by their shop for a bagel. read more
