$8+ for two bagels toasted with BUTTER... maybe I'm cheap but that seems insane. Leaving a review because in times past she has just stuck her hand out for my credit card, without even telling me my total cost, and I had to ask. I can't imagine how much a dozen bagels would cost. For a privately owned bagel shop, you'd expect something a little bit more of a friendly conversation, but that has never happened. I won't comment on all her power lifting stuff that has nothing to do with bagels.. I just can't get over spending $8+ dollars on two bagels with butter. I have never tried their bagels, but my issue is the schedule. I am more than willing to reconsider. However, not opened on the weekend - my family had a tradition of weekend bagels, someone else will get our money. Closed early because they ran out, ok - I guess I deal, but when I show up at 10am and you are closed - little surprised. So you know when I show up at 5:40am on Friday - still not open. Very frustrated and I don't believe this place honors the hours posted. [Out-of-Towner Review} Lovel supporting local bagel shops! I always use Yelp to find one when I'm traveling. I was staying in Novi, but Wixom was the closest, local bagel shop to me. I made the quick trip and was so happy I did. The Bagel Station is location in a nondescript shopping strip. If you blink, you may miss it. When you walk in you instantly notice the plaques, medals, and awards AND then the bagels. Upon future inspection, they are all for the woman owner who is a true rockstar in the Strongman world of competitions! She is also the one who took and prepared my order. Which was a BEC, minus the C, but add scallion cream cheese. The bacon was perfectly crispy and a very generous portion. I was worried it wasn't going to be good, because it was microwaved, BUT I was proven wrong! It was a great bagel. I had a great convo with the owner about her journey in Strongman. It was nice to have such a niche conversation. She was working hard to run her business, but still was able to multitask. As I was leaving, she mentioned that the bagel recipe is an old Jewish recipe (I can't recall if she said it was also a family recipe too). Says they are open half the time when they are not. Placed an order on the website to find out it's a business in another state. Which led to having to call that business and explain why I placed an order with them and didn't come and get it. Have came in multiple times when it says open to get here and be closed. read more

This is a nice little "Mom and Pop" place. They aren't online. They have a nice selection of bagels and sandwiches. We only had the bagels but they were fresh and everyone raves about how good they were. The service was prompt and friendly. We get bagels every Friday for after pickle ball. I've tried Bagel Station a couple times. Unfortunately, the bagels here are simply not that good. They are more like bagel-shaped bread than bagels; lacking the density and correct texture of a true bagel. Also, I noticed that they used a packaged tub of strawberry cream cheese, and it showed in the flavor. For a bagel place, you can't whip some cream cheese and make your own? I'm sure a breakfast sandwich on one of these is fine... but look elsewhere if you want that classic NY bagel texture and taste. First, I want to say I am always amazed how there is only one person working there when I feel like she is extremely busy! I also love how she doesn't let the stress affect her customer service. I've come here twice, both to get a breakfast sandwich. The first one was egg and cheese on a everything bagel and then one on whole wheat. Both were made quickly and tasted awesome! Wixom needed a good bagel shop and this place is A-OK. It's not cafe-ish in that you can get a fancy coffee drink and read a book but more of a grab and go place. I just walked into the business to pick up a dozen bagels for the office and two people are sitting there waiting for the bagels unmasked. I'm sure they felt perfectly fine being in their 20s or perhaps 30s but as a 65-year-old guy I don't appreciate allowing customers to flaunt the rules putting everyone else at risk. Thought we'd give it another shot today, and called ahead and the hours were listed as 1pm. Perfect! Arrived at 12pm And saw the business was closed due to Covid. This is a great family owned and run bagel & sandwich shop. Bagels are great. Always made fresh everyday. Good breakfast sandwiches. If you come for lunch you can get a pretty darn good sandwich too. They have made a lot of changes with the new management! They have a credit card machine now which is much more convenient.
