A amazing experience from start to finish. I looked up the store number off of DoorDash to order delivery through the store directly (support local business) It was forwarded to the owner himself. It was 15 minutes before close & he called the store himself and made sure his staff got my delivery order placed for me. The closing manager delivered it himself on his way home to ensure we got our delicious, hot, real ingredient pizza, wings and salad. Pouring rain, they drove from wixom to new Hudson no questions asked. They really saved our Friday night. Looks like they use fresh ingredients, that's always a good sign for my hubby. Bryan took my order over the phone. Ordered 2 Small square pizzas: chicken, jalapeño and pineapple, butter parmesan cheese crust, a veggie with jalapeños, roasted garlic and Parmesan and butter garlic crust flavor. $35.21 - was the price over the phone. $36.77 was I paid with CC at the counter. They are out of anchovies. All Veggies is then. I was told it would be $35.21 over the phone. The pizza bill reads $35.44 with tax. I was charged $36.77, so they charged me some for using a credit card then. The pizzas look good, fresh ingredients. Anchovies would be good with my veggie pizza, not today. My veggie is nice and garlicky since it's got garlic butter crust as well as roasted garlic cloves. Pizza tops are good, the dough is quite doughy, slightly undercooked except for the crusts. The chicken, pineapple and jalapeño pizza isn't too bad. Not a lot of chicken, same doughy soft texture minus the bottom and crust. The fresh toppings are good. Pizza dough could be a thinner for the square and cooked through more. read more

Very good pizza for lunch. It was timely, affordable, and very tasty! The customer service was really nice also.

We placed a take out order for a large pizza and wings, along with a couple of sandwiches. The ordering was easy. We arrived at the time we were told the food would be ready and it was. The pizza was delicious. It was so good, we ordered from them again a week later. The wings were good too. We ordered plain because that's what the kids like, but they were able to give us buffalo sauce on the side. Kudos for that! The Italian sandwiches were tasty. However, it was drenched with Italian dressing and made the bread soggy. I would ask them to put the dressing on the side if you don't plan on eating it right away. I was looking forward to the pizza after reading the reviews and chose this place over other places around. But, ordering half a specialty pizza and half pepperoni, we got charged for a full specialty pizza which has a ridiculous price point already. It should have been not the full price. The pizza was also very soggy, falling apart and lacking flavor. The salad dressing was all oil and nothing more. The staff on the phone and in the store were passionless and grumpy. I was driving by and liked the name of this place so I figured I'd give it a try for dinner tonight. Al recommended the BLT pizza when I was trying to decide between a couple. He knew what he was talking about. The 8" personal pizza was big enough to fill both my son and me. The crumbled bacon worked so well with the mayo, lettuce and tomato. It was a very good piece. This was our first time trying Fonzarelli's and it was very good, honest pizza! The staff was really courteous and friendly. And the pizza was super tasty the day of and after the next day's reheat. The dough they use is really good especially when made into breadsticks. They're really fluffy and large. We enjoyed it a lot. Just stumbled up this place looking for lunch while driving down Wixom Rd. They have a lunch deal for $7.00 where you can choose a sub, pizza or salad with a drink. I had the Italian sub. This was sooo good. Homemade pizza type bread, lots of melted cheese. I'm not from the area but it was so good, I'll go out of my way to get it again. Very small counter for about 4-5 people to eat at. It was the first time as well for the guys next to me, they had the pizza lunch special and they said it was fantastic and they said they had been looking for a new lunch place and they found it. I'd rather be writing a review about the food however, it didn't get to that point. Made a delivery order at 6:12 pm and was told 45 minutes. Called the shop at 7:18 and was told it will be going out soon but it isn't cooked yet. I canceled the order. I was called back by a different gentleman at 7:26 saying apologetically it's 5-6 minutes away. I told him about being 45 minutes and he said "no, we're running 55 minutes" and it's at 1:07 now. It's not rocket science that when a time is given and if there's an issue, to communicate. I'm sure the ownership has had experience with other pizza stores (Happys?) but this being a non-franchise store, it's important to be even better. From some of the other reviews here (I wished I had went through more of them prior to ordering) show inconsistent levels of service and or behavioral issues. We really like the pizza here, the delivery drivers are great, I just wish the staff on site was a bit friendlier. I prefer to pick up when I am able to but so far (2 separate visits) the 2 young men I dealt with made me feel like I was putting them out by coming in or even ordering for that matter. We really like the pizza though and being out here in the burbs there isn't much to choose from as far as pizza. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they made a little mix up and gave me bone in wings instead of boneless, but otherwise the pizza was really really good. Great Deep Dish Pizza !! Fonzarelli's deep dish is terrific. Golden brown crispy crust, ample amount of cheese. Toppings were large-cut, not the usual diced toppings you find at chain pizzerias. Italian sausage was whole rounds, mushrooms were large and sliced lengthwise. Everything was fresh and hot. I'd put this deep dish right up there with Buddy's.
