Yet another go to for me when in Midtown Manhattan when I need a superb bagel. They are huge and priced fairly. So many types. I always get some type of breakfast sandwich. My favorite is the Lox deluxe on a poppy seed bagel. 1/2 pound lox, capers, cream cheese and tomato's. So good. Sandwich is huge and could be two meals. 3.5 stars $5 regular bagel w/ cream cheese I didnt see a bagel menu but did see for drinks, salads, non cream cheese items. The bagel texture is alright (more than passable). It is not as chewy as I would like it. It is more on the doughy end. They take ur breakfast order at the smear area on a tablet so menu prices are not explicitly written out. They put an ample amount of cream cheese, but the bagel flavor/texture should be key. They have 9 other locations. The bagels were amazing! I tried the plain one with the cinnamon roll cream cheese and a cinnamon raisin with brown sugar butter. Delicious! The line stays busy but it's not slow. The latte was not good hence the 4 star instead of 5. Go for bagels but drink coffee elsewhere. There is some seating available if you want sit and eat inside. read more

This Bagel Pub in the plant district of Chelsea was just down the street from where we were staying at Moxie. My brother recommended it. It was INSANE. Bagels by themselves were AMAZING and HUGE. Tons of cream cheese options. My favorite was the cheddar and bacon cream cheese. I had that cream cheese on an onion bagel on our second morning. The first morning I had plain cream cheese on an onion bagel. My mom had plain cream cheese on a plain bagel twice. The bagel sandwiches themselves with the cream cheese are enormous. I would recommend splitting a bagel because they are just so huge. Be prepared to wait to order. It is worth it because everything is just so delicious there. Plenty of bagel spots in this area! I have had Bagel Pub bagels at the Brooklyn location! I was pleased in Brooklyn and even more pleased at this location very close to Penn Station! The service from walking in is quick. The choices are plentiful and the coffee and bagel were wonderful! I had the ABC bagel, and it had plenty of avocado, crispy bacon and more than enough cheddar cheese! The coffee was full of flavor and they had 6 kinds of milk to choose from to add to your cup of joe! There was a decent amount of seating inside and out! I have to return to this location and try some of the amazing flavors of spreads that i saw. read more

You haven't had a bagel until you came here! Oh my goodness, I waited until came to New York to have bagel and it was worth it! They make their bagels and cream cheese at the bagel pub. They are very generous with the amount of cream they put on the bagel and I LOVE it! (But if you don't want that much you can ask them for light spread) It does get busy in there but the line does go by fast. Make sure you know what you want. The employees that work there are really nice and helpful. The inside of the place is really big! They have plenty of seating inside and upstairs as well. Absolutely fantastic bagels! It has the perfect combination of crisp, soft and chewy. Such great flavor and the perfect size. Cream cheese is amazing as well! We first stopped around 945 AM on a Sunday and there were only a handful of people in line but the smells were plenty! My wife ordered the special which was so large she couldn't finish it. I opted for an egg sausage bagel which was outstanding. Shortly after we got our sandwiches they were packed out the door. Due to the food quality we decided to stop again Monday morning around 630 AM before we left. My wife ordered a bagel with their own special cream cheese and I had a bacon egg bagel. My sandwich may have been better on Monday. Prices are fair, quality is outstanding, environment is great and workers are friendly. I'd highly recommend the bagel pub. The staff took our order and the food came out pretty quickly! Line system in place for orders that, theoretically, should make things run smoothly, IF the person taking your order is paying attention. I could tell the guy who took my order was not. I had to repeat myself a couple of times. He handed me a slip to give the cashier that appeared incorrect, but she assured me it was right. When I opened the bag and looked, my husband had a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. He ordered a sesame with chive. My sandwich was completely wrong and neither was toasted. So...they remade our order. Here's the kicker. When they removed our order in the payment system and added the corrections, they told us we owed them the fifty cent difference. I'm sorry. What?! YOU screwed up. Our friends ate their breakfast without us because we didn't want them to wait. Not only that, we didn't have cash, so had to grab a $2.00 item to charge because there was a $2.00 minimum. What horrible customer service! This is a perfect location for a bagel shop, not to mention the name is even better. It's certainly feels like an Irish pub with bagels. However, that's where the good parts end. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and it came out so melted, it was as if we were eating butter between two pieces of bread. No thickness nor volume, and poor taste to boot. The service is just right, but it's basically make it and serve it. Not much room to mess up. Overall, kind of disappointing as it reminded me of the old phrase don't judge a book by its cover. This place catches your eye because it looks like a wood paneled pub, but slinging bagels and also because of the mounds of flavored cream cheese you see in the case. You order at the case. I had savory (the non-kosher offering of bacon and scallion cream cheese) and my daughter had sweet (blue Cookie Monster). She loved hers and I loved mine. It was a solid breakfast with pretty good and strong coffee. There were more places to sit than most bagel places, but most were grabbing and going to work the morning we were there. read more

Bagel Pub has recently become one of my favorite bagel places. Their selection are great, and since they offer a lot more than bagels, it's very easy to find tasty dishes on the menu. The other day I went to the one at 1385 Broadway. It is quite small, but with such a nice wood interior design, it's very comfortable. My companion had a toasted onion with bacon and cheddar cheese. I also had a toasted onion but with a garlic (+ other things mixed in). Both were excellent. Great tasting food with very reasonable considering the excellent quality. Highly recommended! read more

Large and chewy bagel well suited to the generous schmears so many to choose from. A variety of bottled drinks in the cooler, coffee looked good too. Already knowing what I wanted I stood and watch the staff ignore me. Finally I was attended to and placed my order for my Everything toasted with butter. After couple of minutes I paid and took my coffee over to the condiment station and dressed it appropriately. Bagel arrived, nicely toasted and garnished with everything seasonings.
