I love me a good bagel! Where I live in Florida doesn't have many "good" bagel places so I was excited to find this on our trip right by our hotel. I got the "b flat" which was just egg and cheese and sauce. The sauce it seemed to have horseradish in it and i LOVED it. Quick and the fact that you could watch them make everything right there down to the bagel was so cool! It's in the back by the fish market so some whiffs from the fish market weren't my favorite. But the people were nice and the food was good so that's what mattered. They also are located next to a good seating area. So that was even better. Also great price for a bagel.

I enjoyed my bagel sandwich here! The bagel seen is sparse in boston and it's even harder to find a shop that does bagel sandwiches. I liked that I was able to get a proper breakfast sandwich here! I got a four cheese bagel with egg cheese and sauce. It was quite good! Not the most exceptional bagel but it definitely still satisfies.

My friends and I stopped in for bagel sandwiches when visiting the public market. My sandwich was so delicious and made fresh! I do have to say there was some complaining from the staff when ordering. Overall though( the food was yummy and my friends' sandwiches were delicious as well, lox, chicken guild, and a make your own sandwich was ordered. The public market is a perfect location to eat the sandwiches as well!

Great place for a bagel breakfast sandwich. The staff was great and took my order then quickly made my sandwich. Food was very good and prepared to either eat sitting inside at one of the many tables or walking around the city. See you all tomorrow...

Very good bagel, but the place kind of smelled like fire. Service was super helpful-- I wanted an addition and subtraction on my bagel and he priced it out twice to see what was cheaper. I made up the difference in tip!!

Great place to grab a delicious bagel. We had a couple toasted with cream cheese, but couldn't resist bringing some bagels home to try that we had never seen before. The rosemary bagel is great! The veggie cream cheese is fantastic! Nice staff.

Staff and speed and quality are always right on. The bagels are fresh and taste like a good proper bagel should. They also don't skimp on cream cheese like pretty much every other spot in Boston other than pavement. Love the bagel flavors especially rosemary salt and four cheese. I've never had a flop and there's ample seating since it's in the haymarket food hall. They're tucked away so it's cozy and nice.

Decent breakfast sandwiches for the price ($7.50 for an egg and cheese with bacon, sausage, or veggie patty), but smaller, drier, and tougher than expected. The service is friendly and fast and there is a cute café-style seating area next to the shop counter.

Brief Summary: - Great chewy bagel texture - Located within Boston Public Market We came and ate here for breakfast. This one was located in Boston Public Market, and found near the center of the building. There are seats alongside this food restaurant, as well as in front of it, so this was a great place to order and quickly find a place to sit and eat. We ordered two different bagel sandwiches: one was from the special menu: B-Flat. The other was a simple bagel with a spread of chive. I recall ordering one of the bagels with a spicy chili and the other with onion. Both of the bagels had a great chew, and while I have a low spice tolerance, the chili was not too spicy. The special sauce tastes like an aioli. For the sandwich combination of egg and cheese, the sauce that tasted like ketchup was a random flavor.

The best thing about Bagel Guild? Probably the location. Inside the Boston Public Market, it's always bustling with people ranging from tourists who are walking around downtown to locals who are looking for a quick breakfast option. The bagels are definitely not the best I've had, but they're tasty and I never have left disappointed. I wish they had a bit more cream cheese options, but what they have available is still the basic, good options people usually look for. I also wish the prices were a bit lower, but that's just a complaint of the Boston Public Market in general. Still, I enjoy stopping by on occasion and hope this inspires other bagel shops to open up nearby!

Found in the Boston Public Market, we went to Bagel Guild as my companion desperately was seeking out bagels. Apparently this place had great reviews on Google, and after going, I don't see what the hype is. This to me was a pretty average bagel. The bagels are affordable for their size and they love slathering on the cream cheese. You can honestly do worse, much like you can do better. See for yourself and let me know what you think. /shrug

Pretty good. Nothing crazy but a solid bagel and solid schemer. There are better spots in the city for bagels however this does the trick.

The blueberry bagel I had that day was absolutely superb, probably the best blueberry bagel I've ever had in Boston. A few days later, I craved that same blueberry bagel and made the trip back, which is a considerable drive for me. Upon arrival, I was told that blueberry bagels are not offered every day and are only available on Thursdays. I returned the following Thursday, but the experience was very different. I got blueberry, poppy, and a few other bagels to take home. Unfortunately, all of them were absolutely disappointing. They tasted extremely off and very different from the blueberry bagel I had previously. At home, my family ate about half of what we purchased, but none of us had any desire to finish the rest. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, and the bagels were not enjoyable at all. The blueberry bagel from my first visit looked and tasted amazing and was completely different in quality from what I received on my second visit. On top of that, the person behind the counter seemed careless with hygiene, touching the screen, bagels, and other surfaces without any apparent attention to cleanliness. It felt like a completely different place compared to my first visit just a couple of weeks earlier. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed.

Went on a Friday around 11:30am (FYI use Yelp to get address or Google Maps - Apple Maps took us somewhere else). Located in Seaport district with plenty of outdoor seating available. You do have to order a minimum of 3 bagels with a Schmear so just keep that in mind. We got the Poppy, Sesame, and Everything bagels with Scallion Schmear. Bagels were perfectly soft and the schmear was delicious! I wasn't sure how I would feel about the concept of ripping the bagels and dipping it into the cream cheese, but I actually ended up preferring it - less messy and more cream cheese per bite. Wish PopUp Bagels was in the Bay Area. I would definitely return!

The bagels were very fresh (you can smell them well before you see their storefront in the suprette). You get 4 bagel options and a similar number of spreads to choose from. Then they toss them in a bag and you're on your way. So...the bagels are good...but that's kind of it. No seating inside, lattes were from a can, no avocado spreads just cream cheese varieties and butter. You won't be disappointed but if you're expecting something life changing (based on the hype) I think you'll be disappointed. I went close to when they open at 7 and waited less than a minute at most.

Prior to visiting Boston, I did my research on things to do and places to eat. Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.
