The best cream cheese and bagel combo I've ever had. I did the everything bagel toasted with bacon cream cheese and it knocked it out of the park

I like to try to go to the bagel caboose around once a month. The bagels are great, the service is quick, and the ambiance is so cool! How many people can say they are eating a great bagel and drinking a good coffee in the actual caboose of a train! Definitely a great spot for a quick bite that has yet to let me down!

I mean I haven't done through testing but this is the best egg bagel in the north east. Service is fast. We beat the morning work rush which implies a local favorite. Coffee was a little either darker roasted or bitter than I prefer so cream was needed but alternative mills were available.

A cute and cozy little place with hands down one of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had! Friendly staff with a quick and efficient ordering process. We'll definitely be back!

The Bagel Caboose never disappoints! I highly recommend the steak, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. Their staff is very friendly as well!

For a reasonable price, the sandwiches are massive and stuffed to the edge with the most fresh, cohesive ingredients around! For how quick it was made, the meal still seemed to be created with lots of care. I certainly recommend the turkey avocado (although i wish it had slightly more turkey)- the bread is crisp, the avocado creamy, the turkey tender, and everything else complimentary and super fresh! As for the vibes, both inside and outside, they were lovely! As I had my dog with me, I was able to enjoy the fresh sunshine and relax with a beautiful view (albeit the street gets a little busy). However, I would have also loved to sit in their quiet yet social interior which was filled with good smells and great energy! I'd also like to mention the amazing service! Their workers are super fast and helpful. I actually initially placed my order online to the wrong location, reordered at the new one, and submitted a refund request (despite it being against their policy bc you never know), and was met with a speedy response that was understanding and gave me an immediate refund, no questions asked! This experience brightened an already great trip to Portsmouth and an already delicious meal! I cant recommend this business enough if you want a satisfyingly delicious comfort meal in the heart of an adorable town! Definitely give it a try!

They were substantially filled with cheese eggs and bacon and or sausage. I ordered chorizo on my sausage bagel sandwich. Everything is made to order. My sons said they really liked their sandwiches which were bacon egg and cheese on English. Most of the sandwiches are on the menu with homemade biscuit but we ordered with English muffin. They have ugly sticks and the first time we saw that was many years ago after moving to York. The sticks are made from buttermilk batter and come in differing sugary coatings. People love those and they sell out fast. St Joes is known for its benes. The little beignet dough balls. We have never had them, but customers were coming in and ordering a dozen at a time, so I feel like these are very popular here. They also have a great selection of coffees and lattes. Their prices are on par and reasonable. The staff were personable and friendly. There is a small area to sit inside although that fills up pretty quickly on a weekend. There is online ordering although, one of the staff told me they shut it down when they are really busy. Young people, old people (like me) all seemed to enjoy coming in here. I think St Joes has a large following and for good reason. I'll come again with my 13 yr old twins and try some of those benes soon. I'll let you know, but I am sure anything prepared in this place will be good. I would show a photo of our food but we ate it too fast!

Not much seating for how much traffic they get so you're better off getting it to go anyway. I had the egg and sausage sandwich and it was HUGE and very filling. Great flavors. Also had to try the Bennie's! So messy but so good. They offer different flavor dipping sauces - I chose maple cinnamon and it was really sweet but still really good. Drop Coffee was solid. Good flavor selection plus speciality coffees if you're looking for that instead. Highly recommend for a quick bite while you're on the road. Staff was friendly and as efficient as they could be considering the small space.

It even came garnished with a graham cracker, Hershey's chocolate, and Marshmallow. Gave it a fantastic stand out look. The taste was just as good and my wife loved her drink too!
