Bagel Boss is everywhere, but I haven't been to this location before. It's a huge breakfast place but always has some actions with people coming and going and pretty long, like at the order counter. This location has a good parking space too. Andy, the bagel master, can prepare any bagel you want. Say it, and he'll make it. We ordered an everything bagel with fresh lox and cream cheese. Then we also ordered Challah French Toast to go. When a restaurant uses Challah bread for French Toast, you know it's the best! I loved my bagel, too, because they're generous with the lox. Great breakfast place!

paper thin cold egg, cheese not even melted, not toasted sad bagel

So, there's no signage anywhere stating that this is a kosher establishment, so no bacon egg and cheese to be found here. You wouldn't know before waiting in line, fine. Asked for the bagel toasted (it was not) but FURTHERMORE, the eggs were COLD and the cheese wasn't even MELTED (because the whole bagel was cold). Flavorless, had to throw out.

Horrible.

I hate to do this but this is the WORST bagel store I've ever been to anywhere including other states I've lived. From my bagel to my coffee to the linzer tart that wound up in the garbage...it was all disgusting. I was on my way to an appointment and decided to grab a quick breakfast. Oh what a mistake that was. So the grill they made my egg whites on must have had something foul on it because it stunk so bad. The coffee was so dark & tasted burnt. When I asked for more milk the woman was very nice BUT she said that's how there coffee is. She did add more milk but that did no good. Now the linzer tart looked good until I just tried a small piece off the back of it & well once again it was a epic fail. The linzer tart was so gross that it went right in the trash. So twenty something dollars wasted. Not sure how it was so busy but if those people in there are regulars I'm not sure how they stomach it.

probably the worst bagel i've ever had; cold, hard, disproportionately filled with cream cheese, took FOREVER to get. Pass.

I wish it wasn't just a special but a main stay because I'd definitely order that each and every visit. It was that good. I was apprehensive about the gnocchi since im not a big gnocchi fan in general but so many people have sung of it's praises so I decided to try it. Easily one of the best dishes I've had this year. The flavors were so perfectly balanced. It taste of the toasted sweet potato gnocchi was something I didn't expect but was pleasantly surprised. Kept it more simple for entrees because the starters were so rich and indulgent. We had the filet mignon and the steak sandwich. Both perfectly portioned and delicious. Ended with the stroopwafel cheesecake, it wasn't too sweet which was nice. The service was great, I love how the manger was so hands on and checking in with tables. There was an older couple nearby celebrating their anniversary and the manager came over and surprised them with a mini bottle of champagne and congratulated them. That really was so thoughtful! Definitely top tier care and service.

Big pot, loaded with flavor, and honestly enough to make you question ordering anything else. Seafood tastes fresh across the board, and the sauces actually matter here (not an afterthought). Bread basket is dangerous--crispy outside, and soft inside The vibe is classic Long Island "upscale but loud." Red booths, stained glass accents, packed room. Great energy if you're out with friends, less ideal if you're trying to have a conversation. It gets noisy--no way around that. Service was solid--attentive without hovering, which is what you want when you're juggling a pot of mussels and drinks. Only knock: it's pricey. But to be fair, you're paying for quality seafood and a pretty unique Belgian bistro experience (and a massive beer/cocktail program).

Regular menu being served. Portions were small to average, food mostly good- notably carbonara, salmon, milanese- chicken scallopini, some pieces tough. Dishes did not include sides or anything extra like a starter salad. So $28-$32 pasta dish, just complimentary bread, took over 30 mins for dishes to come out too (and we were among first diners of day) so kitchen not backed up as far as we could tell. Not a lot of checking up or water refills. Desserts were costly $14 for small slice cheesecake, not enough to share. Roving photographer offered photo for purchase- really? we just dropped over $500. Nothing special for moms (a flower? glass of wine?) Restaurants are struggling but so is everyone else, didn't feel special, tables very packed together, probably not always, maybe just extra tables for MD -definitely an occasional type of restaurant - the "value" was just not there for us to return.

He served us like a "stealth bomber"--quiet, smooth, and professional--ensuring we felt completely taken care of without being interrupted. The first courses, New England clam chowder and butternut squash bisque, were the ultimate soul foods for the cold weather. For the main course, our selections of dry-aged NY strip steak, roasted chicken breast, and seared salmon were all cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. Between the top-notch service, the refined atmosphere, and the consistently high food quality, this remains one of our favorite spots.

Most of us hadn't been to the establishment since it became Plori, and only knew it as the Italian place! The staff was so sweet and accommodating and brought us to our table immediately - a nice quiet corner. We decided to go for a full on tapas style meal by ordering all their apps and only a couple mains and desserts. The highlights for me were the octopus - cooked SO perfectly, it's a must try!!! The Plori crisps, reminiscent of the ones from Kyma - so so so good!! The sauce on the side balanced it out SO perfectly! Their breads and dips were top notch as well! But the star of the show was their signature dessert - a Greek napoleon of sorts which had raspberry and crunchy bits - absolutely insane and out of this world!!!! While they did forget a couple of our items, and we had to remind them, it was overall a great experience, the only real con for me was the cost - it was definitely on the pricier side and portions were smaller than what we were paying for! Regardless - I do recommend for a visit! Such a fab restaurant!
