They kept the boat until March 2019 and upon picking it up, I found that they did not even look into my helm issues. When I asked him about that, the technician said they don't do that kind of work. They did find the source of the motors not starting, which was remedied with replacing the corroded fuel pumps and replacing a corroded wiring harness on the port engine. When I got home, I noticed that the CDI computer covers were both missing. I called the shop and asked him to locate them for me, but he immediately denied losing them. He had removed both of the CDIs because he was troubleshooting the electrical corrosion issue and had suspected that possibly one of the CDIs had failed. The areas where the covers were supposed to be mounted were very clean and free of grime, whereas everything around those areas was grimy. I had to purchase two covers and 8 stainless steel mounting bolts for a total of $164. After picking up the boat, I kept smelling raw fuel when I ran it and today I ran it with the cowls off of the motors. I immediately noticed fuel running out of the starboard motor from the vapor separator tank (VST), which houses the fuel pump . I shut the motor down and inspected the source of the leak. What I found was very disturbing; while changing the the fuel pump, the technician broke the top corner of the VST and attempted to conceal the damage with some sort of calking or sealant, which allowed fuel to leak past his sealant. I feel fortunate that there was not a fire or explosion from all of the fuel that was leaking into the casing. I'm not sure why the technician was not up front with me regarding the damage, because I do understand that 18 year old saltwater applications occasionally break during disassembly. I know that I would have ended up paying for the replacement part (as I have now), but why would someone send something out of the shop that is a hazard for explosion which would likely lead to serious injury and possible loss of the entire boat? That is a careless, irresponsible and unprofessional act! If you value your investment or your life, steer clear of Sierra Sport and Marine!!

Had to bring it to another shop to discover all they did wrong that could have ruined my engine. Oh yea, they offered to fix the problems, but would anybody trust their sloppy mechanics to touch their engine after such big screw-ups. I wouldn't and glad I didn't. They made no effort to offer me even an apology after I told them it will cost me a 150 mile round trip and 4 hours of my time to bring my boat back to them to fix what they did wrong. In fact, they told me"it's not their fault I lived so far away". Not nice business people. Trust them at your own peril.

Anderson performs its work with high professional standards and treats customers with exceptional service. We highly recommend Anderson Powersports! For those of you interested, here is the rest of the story: Since his original purchase, my Bob has taken his RZR side-by-side to Anderson for customized upgrades and extra bells and whistles. Just prior to our 2-week departure for a backcountry vacation with family, Bob picked up the RZR from Anderson after they had installed some new wiring and audio upgrades. Even though the RZR worked at Anderson and was unloaded at our home, on the day of our departure, it would not start. Figuring Anderson had failed to properly connect all wiring components, Bob became sooooo irate! The RZR doesn't work, he can't even load it up onto the trailer to bring it back to Anderson AND we are now delayed in meeting our family. When he telephoned the good folks at Anderson, they quickly made arrangements to send two members of the crew to our home (almost 20 miles away!). They arrived with tools plus the plan to physically push the RZR up on the trailer if they couldn't immediately solve the problem. Fortunately, Redmond got in the driver's seat and IMMEDIATELY started up the RZR to a sweet purr. What was the problem??? My husband did not have THE GEAR IN PARK! Bob was beyond embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough for his gruff, accusatory remarks. The guys shook his hand, told us, "We hope your trip goes well," and EVEN REFUSED to take payment for their house call. Who do you know that treats their customers so well? I only know of Anderson Powersports in Reno!

They have had recent changes in personnel. I feel the culture has changed to be more service friendly. This is a local business, employing people who want to contribute to people's motorcycle lifestyle. The prices may be considered high, but it's a niche market, selling some premium brands. But they have one of the best parts managers around who is a moto nerd, seriously, go pick his brain! Keeps him on his toes.

Captive audience. They know it too... I booked an appointment over a month out. Two open recalls. I told them exactly what was needed when I scheduled. The guy on the phone assured me they "do this all the time." Cool, sounds easy enough. Show up day of to drop the bike off. Intake guy types around for a few minutes, looks up and goes yeah we're gonna need to order parts, did you want to come back? I literally could not believe it. This is a scheduled appointment for recalls I told you about when I booked. His response was basically a shrug and sorry we dropped the ball. Then he goes just leave the bike, parts should only take a few days. So I left the bike. Big mistake. Two weeks go by. Nothing. Three weeks, still nothing. I finally call and sit on hold for 20 minutes before giving up. Call back, get a sales guy who has nothing to do with service and leaves a message for them. No one calls back. Shocker. Another week. I call again. Actually get someone this time who tells me parts are on the way, just delayed from BMW. Okay whatever, fine. Another week goes by and I've heard nothing. Call again. No one in service ever picks up so the sales staff keeps taking my messages. Nobody calls back. Ever. I'm starting to wonder if service is even a real department or just a room full of unanswered phones. Five weeks in now. Two of those weeks spent just trying to get a single update on my own bike. Some manager named John keeps surfacing long enough to tell me he'll take a message and then disappears completely. Never calls back once. Then I finally hear from someone and they let me know they ordered the wrong parts. But it'll definitely be ready next week though, don't worry. Week six. They call Friday and say it should be done by end of day, Saturday at the latest. Weekend comes and goes. I call Wednesday, John takes a message. Call Thursday, get told it's scheduled for Friday and will be all wrapped up. Seven weeks. My bike sat at Euro Cycle for seven weeks for a scheduled recall repair. Friday comes and goes with no call. Saturday someone finally calls to say it's ready. I have never dealt with a more incompetent group of people in my life. No communication, wrong parts ordered, appointments that mean absolutely nothing, and a manager whose only job apparently is to collect voicemails and ignore them. Oh and they raised all the prices after buying out Sierra. So you get worse service and pay more for it. Really something. All my bikes are going to A&S in Roseville from now on. If you have any other option at all, go there instead. Worst dealership in Reno and that is saying something.

More to say but I'll leave it at that. I had no reason to believe Harley would approve me for even 1$. But in my situation, it wasn't gonna hurt to try. From the start the 3 individuals that helped me out, unfortunately I don't recall all their names but James who helped me fill out the application & look at bikes in my budget was super helpful & straight forward. After finding a bike I wanted we started the application process. They got me approved while I was still sitting there. I was shocked that I got an approval. Note my situation definitely came with a high APR but that was expected because of my history. I knew this & didn't care, I can refinance in a year and be better off for doing all of this. I appreciate the transparency & effort on their part to make it work for me. They definitely earned a return customer & for all I know ending of this year I could come back & upgrade! I appreciate all of you that helped me, Thank you !
