Terrible. Was there earlier today with my gf and before we even sit down a rude woman working behind the bar tells us sternly and with a tone to "not move the chairs," even when we just moved them a little bit to have space from a few others next to us. That attitude already threw us off but we asked for two PBRs and it's like $4 which is kinda like.. wtf it's just a cheap ass beer. But whatever right? It's a bar in the inner city so it's expected. But then the rude bartender listed a bunch of rules right after giving us an attitude telling us stuff we already knew about when it came to masks. I asked her politely about why we couldn't move the chair just a little bit and she said with an attitude "you can't just move furniture." It's almost as if we were being the rude ones just by moving a chair. Imagine that. The bar was chill lookin and wasn't too small. It was cozy but it's unfortunate that people like her are behind it.. and people like her expect a $10 tip for over priced beer and a shitty attitude. If you hate your job THAT much get another one or change your attitude. I've worked several jobs that require a thick skin and it's hard work but I've NEVER treated people poorly or was rude. Yelp check-in = one free beer. If the price is right... For such a small space right in the middle of Broadway it's easy to pass this place by. But once inside it's a cozy bar to get slapp ass drunk and for cheap! There is not the widest selection of beers but you can still get the old classics such as PBR and your Coors/Bud Light variety. More times than none this is a happenin' place on the weekends but the clientele is your general Denver crowd - looking to have a good time not out to cause problems. Gotta love the drink to get drunk peeps. I guess that's why I go here...cuz I'm one of them. The bartenders are efficient and polite. Cheap drinking dive! I like it! $10 all you can drink on hump day- Call Kenny Loggins because you are in the danger zone. Easy to walk by this place, but you have to at least check it out! Just a few regulars getting faded- no bigs. read more

There is yet to be a bar on south Broadway that I haven't given 5 stars. Mainly because I feel that any place that serves alcohol will eventually get that highest rating as I get more and more intoxicated. Its safe to say I usually end my nights of bro-ing out here with a shot or 10. Their drink prices are very reasonable even though the times I'm here I don't give two shits what they charge me Side note...I can't say I've ever gotten laid as a result of going to this bar so I'll give that a one star rating. This is a tiny little dive bar tucked away on S. Broadway. Came here for happy hour on a Wednesday and it was pretty dead. No biggie since sometimes I like to get away from the hustle and bustle. They have good happy hour prices ($3 wells and beer) and you're allowed to bring in food from outside establishments. Our bartender was very friendly and provided great service. Great service from the bar staff during the Packers game last night. I'm not from Wisconsin, but my friends were and they were absolutley stoked on the selection of beers from their home state. During the game the staff served us free shots because we were rooting for the Pack. The owner was there and was a super nice guy. I hope they start to attract a good crowd from the neighborhood because it's a great place to watch a game. Plus they let us bring a pizza from next door in, as we did not feel like eating Brats or Hot dogs, which is about their only food selection. But I digress, as I was not there to eat. Oh, the badger. Half sports bar/half divey come bar. I still dig it though! It sits on south Broadway, and they always have cheap drink specials and an attentive bar tender. This is where you go with your boys to drink...not the place for ladies night out. It can get somewhat dicey and a little depressing in here to be honest. And there's no food served here, but you're welcome to order delivery from one of the many restaurants surrounding the Badg. read more

The place was sooooo narrow, the music just kept on repeating the same 5 songs over and over. It took me literally 30 min to get my drink and I asked 2 different bartenders!!!!! Will not be going back. Plus the people that were there were rude as hell. like do people know how to say please, thank you, and excuse me anymore!!!!! Don't let their drink specials drag you in I would rather spend a little more money on the drinks and enjoy myself not end up drinking at the tables by the bathrooms. Casey, Will, Matt and Marissa are fabulous at this local bar spot! These bartenders know their stuff. I asked for a martini to my difficult taste and Will made it perfectly. Casey is awesome and makes me feel at home. Adam, the bar manager, takes care of my experience. Roger and Steve always make sure that I'm safe. Matt and Marisa are friendly. Previously bar tenders, such as Maddy and Reina, who have moved on, made the experience great. read more

We were out on South Broadway with some friends and found ourselves in front of Badger's. We went in and it was filled with mostly college age 20-something's. The place was pretty busy but we found seats at the bar. The bartenders were awesome. They were so busy but helped us immediately and were very nice. They were funny and helpful. Okay, keep it simple. Awsome dive bar. If your into dive bars it's a must. If you are going here for a Wisconsin sports event arrive early. Very good happy hour, $2.00 Bud, PBR, and Miller. $3.00 wells and $4.00 Flavored Pearl Vodka. Tough to beat that. Try the Leinerhugels beer as its very tasty and of course it's from Wisconsin. Came to this place tonight for a couple drinks on our way down Broadway and the bartender was awesome he had us cracking up and the drinks were actually reasonably priced. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that the place is kind of small and it was super packed most likely because of the holiday. I'll for sure be back tho!! read more

Here's the story of my visit to Badger's last night. It was my friend and I with both of our girlfriends. It was getting later into the evening and we were planning to stop here for one last drink on our way home. None of us had been to the bar and my friend, a Wisconsin native, was intrigued. We got in, showed our ID's, everything was great. I approach the bar and ask the tender, "what are your specials?" The guy laughs at me and says do you know what time it is? We don't have any specials. I then proceeded to ask what the cheapest beers were. The guy again laughed at me and brushed it off saying "pick one" in a condescending manner. He eventually told me that PBR tall boys were $4. The entire interaction was hostile and rude. We get our drinks and immediately the house lights come on and the bartender announces "last call we're closing in ten minutes." We're all surprised and annoyed at this because it was 1:20 in the morning and we were under the impression that the last call was 2:00. We now have ten minutes to finish our 24 oz beers. My friend's girlfriend got up and asked the bouncer where the bathroom was. He responded "We're closed get the f*** out!" He then proceeded to our table and forced us to leave, despite the fact that ten minutes had not gone by and we had barely touched our drinks. We got up and were basically forcibly ejected from the establishment. Terrible experience, my friend's girlfriend was actually in tears after being yelled at by the bouncer. This is a pretty good bar. The prices are fair, and they have cigarettes in a vending machine, which is cool if you smoke. However, it's very loud and the people who come here aren't too cool. But as far as the bar goes, it's pretty good. read more
