This is a great place to get your hair done for any occasion! I've gone in the past for a regular…read moreblow out with no special occasion in mind. It was nice, my hair looked much better than anything I could do myself. It's a great pick-me-up! Recently, I went to Blo with my mom and sister in preparation for attending a wedding. I made an appointment for all three of us the day before the event (last minute decision) and we were accommodated quickly. Everyone was good and nice when we were there. The stylists were considerate of the timing of our event and styled it a bit tighter, knowing our really fine hair would likely start to loosen up as the day and night went on. We are very happy with how it turned out. My mom got an updo. Her hair was first curled and then styled up. The stylist was flexible to incorporate a hair pin that my mom brought with her to match her dress. It looked great! At the end, they even brought us to our car with an umbrella since it was raining, which was a considerate touch. It is an affordable place compared to other places I've gotten my hair done. Other places have charged me separately for the blow dry and then curling my hair, so this was all in one reasonable price. They also accept Venmo or cash for tips, which is great for someone like me, who forgets to go get cash. Ultimately, your hair will look amazing and it won't hurt your wallet!

I also paid at the appointment so two charges for the same day for one blowout processed on my credit card. I called 4 days later once I noticed and was told a manager wasn't onsite but they'd leave my name and number for the following day. That was 5 days ago and I haven't heard back or recieved a refund. I called again and was told the same thing about a manager not being a site and taking my name and number. Disputed the charge with my bank which is now an unnecessary long process because this place couldn't take 5 minutes to make it right.

When I called, they told me that my blowout would be $35.00 which was shockingly low to me considering the area. They placed me in the very capable hands of Arlyn who gave me a great shampoo and condition, and then the best fresh blowout I have ever gotten. I felt great all day and got compliments on how great my hair looked. My husband told me that my hair looked pretty the moment I saw him. Thank you Arlyn, and see you soon!! Best, Jen Shuster

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst salon experiences I've had…read more I arrived with an inspiration photo of the hairstyle I wanted. My stylist, Alicia Coleman, barely spoke to me before immediately taking me to wash my hair. I actually had to stop her so I could show her the reference photo. She gave it a quick glance, said, "I got you," and that was the extent of the consultation. As she styled my hair, she kept turning my chair away from the mirror so I couldn't see what she was doing. Every time I tried to look, she turned the chair even farther away. I found it very odd because I wasn't able to see the styling process or offer any feedback. Had I been able to watch, I could have pointed out that it wasn't going in the direction I wanted before she finished. When she finally turned me around for the "big reveal," I was shocked. It looked nothing like my inspiration photo. She had curled all of my hair toward my face instead of away from it, and the style was completely different from what I had requested. I wanted a side part with hair softly covering part of my forehead. When I asked if she could fix it, she told me I had too much breakage to achieve that look. I was already running late and didn't have time to stay, so I left extremely disappointed. When I got home, I had to completely wet my hair, blow-dry it all over again, and curl it myself from scratch. I was able to recreate the look I originally asked for with no problem. Paying $50 for a blowout that I had to completely redo myself was a total waste of money. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I had a wonderful experience getting an updo done by Sophia at Blo Blow Dry Bar in Morristown. She…read morewas incredibly gentle, attentive, and took her time to make sure everything was perfect, yet I was still in and out within an hour. Most importantly, my updo stayed completely intact all night through summer heat and hours of heavy dancing and it was totally pain-free with all the pins. At $85, the price for an updo is a bit steep, but compared to other salons in the area, it's actually very competitively priced for the quality. The front desk was super communicative during booking, and I loved being offered a chilled glass of water upon arrival-such a welcoming touch. The woman that offered the beverage was very sweet. A few small notes for future clients and management: tips cannot be added to a card (cash, Venmo, or Zelle only), and I'd love it if confirmation emails included the stylist's name. My appointment started about 10 minutes late, and since no one greeted me right away when I walked in. I wasn't acknowledged for the first five minutes I was there. I was a bit nervous about a delay (though it all worked out fine!). I also personally missed having a cape provided during the service. A friend of mine had a blowout and they pinned it and used the round brush and her hair looked great! She chose not to Leave with the clips in. If she did, it would have been an additional $10. To some this may be worth it and we didn't talk about this logistically but it was an observation I made while thinking about this from an operations standpoint. I just wanted to note this for others. I'll be back!

Phone number went to automatic voicemail. A stylist came in around 7:10 am and checked me in. Told me the stylist doing my daughter's hair should be in any minute. She texts her without response. Then calls the manager to reach out. The in house stylist takes her scheduled appt for 7:15. At 7:30, I ask for an update. Supposedly she left and is on her way. I ask how long out is she? Another 20 minutes! I end up waiting as I did want my daughter to look nice as she's in the bridal party. At 7:50, this stylist STILL isn't here, so the other stylist starts with my daughter. I skip the wash and blow out and do a dry-style/braid as it's now an hour later and we're late for wedding pics! At 8:30 when we left, that stylist never made it in--looked like the manager had come in, but no apology or anything from management. I cancelled my own appointment for later day and scheduled at another salon in town. For the type of competition that's around, esp around the corner, these guys must do better!!! Oh, and yes, I did confirm the appointment personally the afternoon prior.
