I was very picky, yet did not know what I had wanted -- I'd say one of the worst clients to have! But both Kim and Robbie worked with me through very long trials (thanks to them) to work out the look. Because we went through so many changes, I was unsure if we had nailed it. Both Kim and Robbie were confident that they knew the direction. On the day of the wedding, they came in very professional, and did an amazing job. It was exactly what we had aimed for. For the make-up, minimal, fresh, clean, radiant; for the hair, we had a braided up-do with a bit of height, loose in some areas, and structured in others. Kim had done some homework on eyelashes (I have Asian eyelashes...) and she put some extra time in figuring out the look with me -- many, many thanks to her, could not have been better. She arrived early and after setting up all the tools and makeup a girl could dream of, she and her assistant got to work on my mom and bridesmaids. Daisy is very skilled at making everyone of all ages and ethnicities look their best and feel comfortable, including my 14 year old niece, 45 year old sister in law, 65 year old mom and all of the 20- and 30-something bridesmaids. She and her assistant worked quickly but it did not feel rushed and everyone was thrilled with their makeup. She left plenty of time to make me the center of attention and recreated the exact look that I loved during our makeup trial. Daisy then came with us to the gardens and was on site with us until the ceremony, touching us up during pictures. The makeup she chose lasted all day so we probably could have gone without the touch ups, but I wanted the comfort of having her there just in case anyone broke down crying and needed a do-over. She was so attentive, helpful and fun, it felt like having another friend there who was part of my special day. I also had a HUGE zit on my wedding day--every bride's worst nightmare--and Daisy made it COMPLETELY disappear, it was crazy. I would like to add that I did makeup trials with four other makeup artists leading up to my wedding and Daisy's technique was the most impressive to me. She listened to what I wanted, provided her expert opinion on what she thought would work with my skin tone, and was very patient with me. I loved that she layered on my look and would pause after every layer to ask how I liked the look so that I had control over how much makeup was put on. She was able to achieve the "natural, smokey eyed, contoured" look that I asked for with products that felt very light on my skin but provided the coverage I needed to cover past acne marks. She took detailed notes about the colors and techniques she used so that she could replicate it on my wedding day and I'm pretty sure she studied the notes the night before our wedding because she remembered everything perfectly. I also appreciated how communicative Daisy was during the year leading up to our wedding. She was very responsive to emails and did not mind at all when I would email her with random thoughts or pictures that I found inspiring. It felt like she was as excited about my wedding as I was, which made me even more excited! I would highly recommend Daisy for your wedding if she is available in between fashion shows!

Unfortunately had a couple bad experiences in a row with different stylists... My roots have always…read morebeen $60 without blow dry and I checked the rate for the service when booking my appointment. My stylist dyed my roots too light then "fixed it", my appt was nearly three hours, and it suddenly became $90. She said because I asked her to dye all of my hair which I didn't, I just asked her to match the ends... and clearly she didn't, because my roots aren't fully covered and the color has already started fading in one week. She also got dye all over my face mask, inside my ears, and on my neck.
