Where! Where! Where! is the Zero.. I have been very sick , on oxygen and steroids for some 28 months now. Being in this condition was hard for me to get to hair salon. My hair got so long , down to my waist. Finally, I went to Glo salon that I been following them for sometime in facebook. Beautiful work. So , I snapped 2 photos and I told Dominica what I wanted to get done. She said that the clients in both pictures is her work. Fine. I was looking at color, highlights and cut. After 4 long hours, sitting in that chair , on oxygen, this is what I got. As sick as I am when she told me $445.00 I got even sicker. Very very expensive. But, if she did good job , fine .I do this twice a year. Base Color is red, there are no highlights,, and cut is like 2 year old chopping it all off. read more

I arrived for my appointment and was offered a selection of beverages. In addition, I was asked complete some forms. After completing the forms and receiving my beverage, I was greeted by my nail technician. I had gel on my nails that needed soaking and the nail technician stated that the owner said that it will be an extra charge to remove the gel on my nails. I then consulted with the owner about it and she informed me that there will be no charge. To make a long story short, it took almost three hours for my gel manicure to be completed. The mail technician seemed nervous and not thoroughly skilled. She made a mention of learning a technique in cosmetology school. Which lead me to believe she was somewhat a novice and it showed after my nails were done. I kept asking her to redo some of my nails as it came out bumpy with air bubbles. There was another customer waiting a good while for a pedicure. I can tell she was getting impatient by a comment she made to the owner. I had to leave after hours of sitting to get my gel manicure professionally done and the end result was the worst I've ever received. In a nutshell, the place looks nice and the offering of beverages while you wait is a nice touch. However, the real reason I came to establishment proved to be a horrid experience. I will never patronize Glo again. Arrived just in time. My time in this place surpassed that. Though redone, it still came out bad. Those pictures are what the end results were. Owner, did not get to see that. Did/will not pay for this. Thank goodness for Groupon's buyer remorse. Owner, never offered any remorse. She was too busy. Additionally, the technicians's knowledge and experience is something that should be addressed accordingly before servicing a customer. Get it right. read more

Followed my longtime stylist to this salon. Been going there for a few months now. Parking is not an issue. Owner is an absolute doll. There are always beverages and snacks offered and it is all beautifully presented. The space is flooded with natural light; spacious and immaculate. You're surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers. There is delineation between the hair and nail sections, and the shampoo area has wonderful spa-like music playing. It is always a pleasurable experience. I recently received the Premiere calcium removal treatment recommended by my stylist, and my hair looks silky and smooth and shiny. So pleased! I've been going to Dominika for years. Her skill with hair color and hair styling is so superb and she always makes my hair look gorgeous after an appointment with her. I have a lot of grays and she always knows what to do to make my hair look spectacular. I love her input and her suggestions and never had a disappointing experience with her. Her prices are a little on the high side but that's good quality you're paying for. Great staff, great professionals. I love this salon! read more

Tried a gel manicure here. The tech did an excellent job and my nails looked amazing. She also did not take forever (sorry I am not a "I want to be at the nail salon for 2 hours" type of girl, get me in and get me out ASAP) and was friendly too. The salon is very clean and decorated beautifully and the area has plenty of parking. I would highly recommend coming here for any salon service, the hair dressers were working on some beautiful hair colors when I was getting my mani done. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I was charged $90 for my 10 year old daughter's haircut. When I questioned it I was told that was the price. Their website states 10 and under is $45. When speaking to the owner Dominica she was nasty. She told me that those were the prices because my daughter got a precision haircut. My haircuts don't even cost this much. This is price gouging at its best. She could cares less about my feedback and told me they are now changing their website to reflect 9 and under for $45. This new business in Fairfield needs to learn how to treat their customers or no one is going to go there unless you are looking forward to being taken advantage of. A friend recommended Salon Glo and I'm glad she did. My first impression of the salon was that it is pretty. It showed the attention to detail that's so important in this line of business. The owner asked me a lot of questions before starting to work. She corrected a major color blunder from a previous salon. She understood what the issue was and im thrilled with the result. She is a true crafts person who paid attention to the details. She is definitely an artist. The pricing seemed fair, especially with the level of expertise. When they bring you water, they bring it in a champagne flute! A great atmosphere with a high level of talent will keep me going back. read more

Owner Dominika doesn't know how to treat her clients , yes she set up beautiful place but she has no idea what she is doing ! Dominika is very rude and VERY unprofessional ! I love the staff but unfortunately with this kind of owner running business little by little she is losing them ! Everything with her is an extra charge which I don't mind if she actually provides the service . She canceled my nail appointment because her employee walked out on her without even notification ( what is that tell you ) and I had my hair appointment today and she won't even allow me to use my credit that I have with her !!! Don't even waste your time or energy with this place she doesn't value her customers! She just lost not just me as a customer but my friends who use to go there and planed to go there. This is so sad you go to salon to look pretty but dealing with this crazy is not even worth it !!! There is so many other amazing places would love to have my business!!! I went today for a manicure and pedicure. The salon was very nice and especially clean. The staff was pleasant and friendly also. As far as the manicure and pedicure horrible!! The lady didn't even use cream or oil on my hands or feet. It was your basic cut, file and paint. Defiantly wouldn't recommend going. They don't even have hand a hand Dyer she used a blow dryer to dry my toes, very bad! Save your money and go elsewhere for sure. read more

I used to love going to that place for my hair and nails, the staff are awesome however the owner Dominika, not so much of a smart business owner, has ZERO customer relations skills, after the shutdown for few months I booked an appointment online on my only day off with one of the hair stylist that was available that day, the owner got back to me asking me to reschedule as the other hair stylists are not comfortable taking clients that she previously worked on.. Even tho I'm a frequent customer! In other words I did not have options to choose any service provider expect her!!!! How unprofessional is that!! As a business owner you would do anything to accommodate the customer's request specially ones who have limited time off, however that wasn't the case , she gladly canceled my appointment as I asked her without offering any alternatives, no respect for the customers time and schedule. read more
