You're greeted by nice, professional staff and they offer you something to drink or to hang your coat for you. I have always been seen in a timely manner. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and had my coat taken and was offered something to drink. I noticed how perfect everyone's hair was and felt awful because here I was getting off of work (they got me in 30 minutes prior to calling) with my frizzy messy pink updo. When I had called prior they did ask which level of designer I wanted, I asked for anyone 3 and under ($60 and under). I was given my "designer" Danny. I explained to him that the most important part to all of my mess is my bangs, if my bangs don't come out right Ill be miserable. I showed him pictures of the bangs I've had and would like to stay with. I also showed him what my current "A bob" should look like. Told him that I didn't want more than a half inch cut off and crossed my fingers as he assured me he would do exactly what I wanted. I was then escorted to the shampooing station, where a girl shampooed and conditioned my hair while trying to make awkward talk every 5 minutes. The neck rest to the sink are beyond uncomfortable. I noticed she had a hard time combing my hair (naturally curly/wavy/wtf frizzy) and its a good thing I don't have a sensitive scalp and enjoyed the hair pulling. Back to Danny. Trim, trim, trimming away. He took off exactly how much I wanted. We talked about the product that turned my hair to mush (Soy-Plex hi-lift if anyone is interested) what brands and products I use on my hair, he recommend me a keratin treatment to help my hair that I bought for $20? I believe. On the bangs! The scariest of the scary. He told me to part my bangs how I usually do, then he showed me how much he was about to cut off and asked if that was okay. I agreed and snip snip. I asked for them to be a tiny bit shorter and he exactly did a tiny bit shorter. When they told me Danny was a level 2 "designer" I didn't really have high standards, I just went in with a "I need to do this" attitude. But overall Danny was very thorough, constantly asking questions, highly detailed. I've never met a stylist who did exactly what you asked for instead of what they think they should do. He did an amazing job and I'll definitely keep going back to him.

My hair got so long , down to my waist. Finally, I went to Glo salon that I been following them for sometime in facebook. Beautiful work. So , I snapped 2 photos and I told Dominica what I wanted to get done. She said that the clients in both pictures is her work. Fine. I was looking at color, highlights and cut. After 4 long hours, sitting in that chair , on oxygen, this is what I got. As sick as I am when she told me $445.00 I got even sicker. Very very expensive. But, if she did good job , fine .I do this twice a year. Base Color is red, there are no highlights,, and cut is like 2 year old chopping it all off.
