I've given this…read moreplace more chances than it deserves, and after seeing about eight different stylists over time, I can confidently say that the problem is not just one person -- it's everyone. Not a single stylist has been able to give me a good blowout. Every single visit ends the same way: disappointment. My hair never looks right, the blowouts are sloppy, rushed, and nothing like what Drybar is known for. I only continued going because the location is convenient, but convenience does not justify wasting money on a service that is this poorly done. At this point, I'm fully planning on canceling my membership. I also wait every time despite having an appointment. Watching employees sit in the back eating or hanging out while clients wait is beyond frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. The way they handle hair is honestly unacceptable. I've never experienced so much aggressive pulling and yanking during a blowout anywhere else. It's painful. Their shampoo and conditioner also completely knot my hair, which just leads to even more rough handling and discomfort. For the price you pay, this experience is unacceptable. Drybar is supposed to feel like a luxury service, and this location delivers the exact opposite. After eight different stylists and zero good experiences, it's clear this is a management and training issue. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone.

I will never ever come to this establishment again.

1 stylist only - corporate needs to do something with the owner/manager here. They should staff enough ppl

When I walked in to Vicki Popp, I could tell I was the last appointment, and that they just needed to finish my hair before they could go home, but at no point during my appointment did anyone make me feel rushed, unwelcome, or uncomfortable. In fact, my stylist took as much time as I needed to discuss my haircut and what I could do with it to make improvements. Valeria, my stylist, was extremely knowledgable in hair, giving me tips and tricks as she went along. It was clear that she knew what she was doing when we discussed the cut I wanted. Unfortunately doing the exact style I wanted, wasn't going to be possible due to my hair not having grown in enough in the front, and she was honest with me instead of plowing along, knowing that it might not turn out well. After some discussion, we finally settled on a style that would look good and that I liked. She made the process painless and easy, and I actually relaxed! She is engaging and fun to talk to. It honestly felt like I was talking to a friend, and I almost asked her if she would like to hang out sometime, but luckily reigned myself in. She's too good of a hair stylist for me to ruin with my friendship! I definitely recommend this salon. The environment is warm, clean, and friendly, and if Valeria is any indication of the caliber of stylists that they have, then they have amazing stylists as well.

I would definitely go back again . I also saw that people were coming in for highlights and Balayage which I think is pretty common here Not too pricy , my haircut costed me $85 without the tip .

Went here last minute and totally regret it…read more I made an appointment at the Blo Lounge after my primary salon (Moxie Montclair, great place), was full of appointments for the day. I arrived a bit early to my appointment and they would not take me even though I saw some ladies standing around who looked like they were free -- otherwise, the actual people who worked there were kind Hair: the woman who did my hair put SO MUCH hairspray in my hair, it was unbearable to touch. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she tried to do it, but it ended up not working out at all. I ended up having my friend redo my hair. Price: $75 for what I got was EXTREMELY overpriced. It was a blowout with some styling/curling. I go to a high quality salon like Moxie in Montclair and this would have been maybe 30 dollars less and the quality would have been 100% better. Overall, I would have rather gone to Supercuts for a blowout then have had my friends who don't work at a salon, style my hair.

I do Japanese straightening +cut 2x a yr in a very upscale salon costs me $400 for 4 hr long labor intense treatment. So not paying $320 for cut and conditioning ‍
