I brought my I pads in for repair. One I had to take back because it stopped working fairly soon. That was July. They kept promising this and that. Two months later I moved out of the area. No problem, they said. We will ship it to you. Well, it is now November. They did a fine job on the rest, explaining the parts they use are not Apple parts. Very friendly and helpful. However, They have not returned my property that I paid good money to have repaired. They did explain the problem, on one of the ongoing phone calls that they could not repair it. I was referred to Bad Apple by another mac-fix-it joint (that says a lot!) and they were right: Jeff is honest, really good at what he does and very invested in solving problems. I failed at replacing my cracked iphone glass and Jeff got my phone functioning so I could jump on a plane and make do until I could have time to have it properly replaced. I am now digging all my old mac stuff out of boxes and will be taking them all to Bad Apple. Three years ago I took my MacBook to Bad Apple to upgrade the systems. Last month my same laptop wouldn't 'unsleep' so I brought it back to Bad Apple totally worried that all my programs were at risk. Not only did the owner, Leo, resurrect my Mac from the dead, I bought a great solid solid-state iMac from him for my office. Leo was able to transfer everything from my cantankerous MacBook Air into my desktop computer so now I sleep at night ready to wake up and work. So I used to take my stuff to Blairs as it was the only store front repair shop I could find that was ok at very best. My friend told me about these guys after Blair botched my iPod and charged me for it. BadApple repaired it super fast and it is by far the best customer service and repair I have had. I have used them a couple of times and they only charge for repairs if they can fix it. They are very friendly and easy to work with. They will keep you informed if they can't fix the issue right away. Last time my phone would not charge and it was a dirty port. Cleaned it for free. My daughter changed the password on her Iphone and then couldn't remember her password. Nobody could help, wouldn't unlock on ITunes, etc. Took it to Bad Apple and within 5 minutes I had an unlocked phone and all contacts etc were restored. read more
