I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Daryl, the owner of Body Builders Auto Repair…read more What happened was not only unprofessional, but in my opinion, dishonest and disrespectful. We were given a price for a vehicle and were made to wait with the understanding that this was the price we were dealing with. Daryl then changed the price. When I questioned the difference and showed him the information that HE had printed, instead of acknowledging it, he told me that I "couldn't read it correctly." Once I showed him exactly what was printed on the paperwork, his response changed to, "I have to make a profit." That statement told me everything I needed to know. If the original price was incorrect, that should have been explained honestly from the beginning--not after we had waited and were prepared to move forward with the purchase. Changing the price and then attempting to make the customer believe they misunderstood clearly printed information is unacceptable. What concerned me even more was the manner in which I was spoken to and treated. Based on the totality of the interaction, I personally felt that there was a racial component to the disrespect and dismissiveness I experienced. I do not make that statement lightly. As a consumer, I expect transparency, professionalism, and for a business owner to stand behind the information he provides. I received none of that here. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly warn others against doing business with Daryl or this establishment. If you do choose to deal with this business, I would advise getting every price and representation in writing and reviewing everything carefully before agreeing to anything. I cannot recommend this business, and I personally would not do business with him!

They were well compensated by the persons insurance that hit me. DanRich Carstar customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with in any business I ever patronized. My car was dropped late August. This repair shop was chosen because they boasted that they were a preferred Tesla repair facility, which I was told meant they would have priority access to parts. Tesla does have an issue with parts, from my research. My car was finally put into structural repair on Nov 3. They have an app to update their progress and I was given weekly updates. I was told that my car would be ready for pick up on December 23. I was specifically told that any delays in pick up would be communicated by a phone call. My area was forecasted for a winter storm on December 22. I called to confirm pickup on December 20 & 21 and 22. No return call was given. I showed up to pick up my car on the 23; the facility was closed. They had a sign on the door. They did not return my calls or message. They did not change their voice message to alert anyone of the closure. I called the following week, assuming that missing a few days because of the storm, my car would be ready the following week. They did not send me a message until January 6, saying at that point my car was entering reassembly. They updated my pickup date to January 12. I picked up my car after hours on the 12th. When I got in the car, I noticed that the steering wheel leather was peeled off. I left the car and returned the next day. After a wait, I was addressed by Rich, of DanRich. He had no explanation of why my wheel had the leather peeled off. After a brief discussion, I was assured that a new wheel would be ordered and installed at the facility expense. I called the following week, as I was told it would take a week to receive the steering wheel. I followed up with Jordyn at customer service on January 19 and was assured I would hear back by the 20th. I gave her to the 27th to call me back, they never did. I was given excuses of how they didn't hear back from anyone at Tesla, that the issues in getting parts was far out of their control and that the peeling on the steering wheel was probably from my oily hands. It's a shame that a business such as this does everything in their power to not take responsibility for the easiest thing they can control....how their customer sees them. All they needed to do was tell the truth, instead they lied, sidestepped responsibility and pointed fingers at anyone and everyone. I won't use them again, and If this review can help one person to choose any other repair facility, then it accomplished its goal. Not that it matters if they can bill 20K to every car they bring in.

I looked up Miromax for PDR and figured I would trust them to fix my baby. Miroslav and his wife were excellent to deal with and everything was explained as to what needed to be done to restore it to new condition. I picked up my truck three days later and it looked like it did when I drove off the dealers lot! Miromax is truly an outstanding shop that was clean, organized, knowledgeable and trustworthy. This is an award winning shop and it shows in their work. As thorough as I am, I was unable to see any of the previous damage. Not one dent, crease, dimple...notta! Car was clean and looked better than new. Don't go to a collision shop for paintless dent removal, go to Miromax.
