Have been hearing a lot about Bad Birria and decided to go check them out today. We got the chips and guacamole to start with and the guac is so good and full of flavor. The chips are a little on the bland side and could use a little salt. I got the chicken burrito which was really good and was only able to eat half of it. When I added the sour cream I thought it would be in the burrito and not on the side so that threw me off but it wasn't a deal breaker. The hubs got the bad fries and devoured them. He said the birria meat was so flavorful and tender. I have a feeling he will be eating his way through the birria side of the menu. lol read more

Holy cow (or goat?). This food was amazing. Portion size felt incredibly fair and I enjoyed the sauces. Completely new to this kind of food (to where I had to google it). Totally random Uber Eats find (so sadly I didn't go to the establishment itself). I would definitely order again and recommend due to like I said good portions, very rich and delicious tortillas. Not only was the food absolute perfection, the staff was so friendly, and the restaurant was clean and ready for guests. They had hoodies and shirts available and I'm hoping that they come out with hats because I would love to get a hat too! Went about a week about a week ago. The restaurant was empty. It was us and another family. Food took a while to come out. And it felt like they were rushing us after offering boxes minutes after the food was brought to the table. When asked about tap water for a child. They attempted to charge $.50. Wow, this is one of the best Mexican food restaurants I've ever been to. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. The dipping sauce was great. Everyone in our group thought the nachos were great too. Further more when we asked for a cup of water for a child not only where we denied but where told that a cup for water would be an extra 50¢. None of the food was good, the place was empty with only one other family. They were discussing how bad the food was when we walked in, but we decided to try it anyway. A+ for concept, F+ for execution. the slogan for bad birria is "so bad, it's good". it is very bad. we were the only ones in the restaurant and food took 20+ to make. we ordered 4 things; birria tacos, birria fries, birria ramen and elote. the ramen didn't come with any birria on it and was really just cheap ramen in a throwaway plastic togo container. everything came with excess oil and went through my body quickly if you catch my drift. the 4 food items and 2 beers totaled $55. definitely overpriced for what it was. they also hire a lot of J-1s so majority of staff does not speak english. read more

I feel like it should have came with rice or beans. We also got the Birria ramen it was pretty bad. Bland and felt like something we could have made for much cheaper. I'm not too picky about ambience, but everything was plastic and cheap looking. The ramen didn't even come in bowl, it came in reusable Tupperware. Wouldn't usually care, but we spent almost $80 in total. We ordered churros and they were sample size for $6. Trash can was overflowing so ended up getting my hand sticky.
