I love golf again and it's because of Michael Blinco and the team at golf tec. Last year I almost…read moregave up on the game, I was playing well and all of a sudden all I could hit were hosel rockets. I mentally tried to remember all the different tips I had learned from other lessons or golf schools I had attended and nothing helped. So I saw a commercial for golf Tec and their swing analysis program and having nothing to lose went and saw Mike. I wasn't cured after that first meeting but Mike put me on the path to better golf. Mike is a great instructor and the lessons keep building on what I'm doing right and trying to minimize my old bad habits that other instructors never told me about. Also what I love is that I can go home and watch videos of my lessons and read the notes of the drills I should be practicing on the range. I still login and watch my swing progression from that first swing analysis to my swing after lesson 15. I've had at least 4 different instructors, went to a 3 day golf school and watched a hundred YouTube videos and nothing compares to my golf Tec experience. The best compliment I can give them is I'm no longer terrified that I'm going to embarrass myself when I get paired up with strangers on the course.

I've had customers fittings at my golf club and more recently in the relatively new PXG Store on Miramar Blvd in San Diego. I was considering upgrading my 3 and 5 fairway woods and dropped by the PXG Store on Miramar Blvd yesterday...just to schedule a fitting appointment. As usual, I was warmly welcomed and since they had an open fitting time immediately, I underwent an exceptionally professional and detailed fitting on the spot. The Master Fitter (Justin) conducted the fitting, working through all manner of data collection beginning with assessment of my current clubs and progressing to multiple combinations of club heads, weight adjustments, shaft options, and advice. At the conclusion of the lengthy fitting, I made the decision to opt for a new Lightning 4 fairway wood and a new Lightning 7 fairway wood, both of which provided very significant performance improvements in distance and control over my old clubs. These two new clubs actually will replace my two old fairway woods AND my 5 iron. Since I am a military veteran, I qualify for the Heroes Program discounts (very significant savings). The new clubs are being custom assembled and will be delivered to my home in 7 days. PXG and Justin epitomize professionalism, outstanding customer service, and the highest quality equipment!

He never returned my communication. I bought a 2025 new cobra model driver, with the same shaft, for $299. PXG missed a sale.

If you're a beginner, I think that's sufficient for a driver shot. They also have huge fencing on the sides so you be sure that your balls will never fly out of the range, but if it does it won't hit anything but trees and grass. The only downside is subset of the stalls have some light shading overhead. I would imagine they get little foot traffic during peak summer hours. I walked into the shop to buy some balls and the staff, although friendly, I could barely understand them. They directed me outside to the ball machine that was automated. It's really expensive. 50 balls for nine dollars. It's kind of outrageous. The mats are worn, and old I had to endure a golf lesson next to me and the woman brought her dog which barked the whole time which was absolutely ridiculous. No management of the practice area from the staff. I wanted to putt some balls, but people took it over with their kids. Again, no management from the staff. I will never come back here and you shouldn't either.

Once I learned that it doesnt matter if you are a "good" golfer, as long as you follow rules of golf etiquette (like not slowing down the game or stepping in someone's "line"), you can still play with more advanced players for business or for fun!
