Had an awesome time! Our coach was supportive and ensured that everyone improved their throw throughout the evening. I highly recommend for work functions. We played a team game and a tournament. I like that you can bring your own food. There's a ton of seating in the facility.

Came here a couple of weeks ago for a birthday party. What do i know about axe throwing before this?? The guide/coach was friendly, she took her time to make sure we knew what we were doing. Don't worry, it was safe! I have all my fingers and toes. It was AXE-cellent. Fun atmosphere and a great work out!

We came here for a friend's birthday bash, and it was awesome! Andre was great at keeping us engaged and he gave us great throwing tips! A spacious area allowing multiple groups, all skill levels welcome, and the best part... You can bring booze!! (Just don't get too crazy). The only critique I have is that it was kinda hard to find the place if you're not from the area. But once you find it, it's hard to forget. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is great for a fun bonding experience and igniting the competitive flames. Amanda is a great hostess and instigator of fun. The price may seem a bit steep, but once you find your groove you'll definitely be planning your next visit. Cheers to Amanda and a great time at Bad Axe Throwing Mississauga.

Smiles and sharp axes all around!!!

This was a great venue for a birthday party! Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was really a great fun experience. Dotta (our hostess) really helped put by giving us tips and keeping score. There was another group on the other side of the unit but it was never an issue- we were able to bring our own snacks and drinks which was nice and the waiver signing system was quite easy. I would say it was a successful evening of axe throwing! Definitely looking into doing this all again in the near future! Thanks! David

It was fun and our group enjoyed it. But $100/couple is pretty steep for what you actually get for the cost.

I'm not going to lie, I really suck at axe throwing . But if you relax, take the appropriate…read morestride, pull back and keep a good motion you should do a lot better than me! What an awesome choice for a team event. A simple space, from the picture you can see a set up which includes two targets each, small axes and boards to keep score for the real tournament! The hosts spend a least an hour patiently instructing us on the safe and appropriate manner to swing the axe at the target. Many of us got bullseye right off the top, some, like me, flung the thing over the target. But in the end, if you are looking for a fun team building exercise for a reasonable cost, this is certainly a great option. I don't know if you can always do it, but if you have a big group, you can probably negotiate a lower rate than the $45 per person.

So much fun!! Who would think hurling an axe at a piece of wood would be a great evening out?…read more Location: On Leslie Street in Newmarket. In an industrial/ business plaza. Tinier than I thought it would be. Three cages made of metal fencing. Very high ceiling! Each cage has two round targets made of big pieces of wood. How it works: Two teams two hurlers at a time. Where your axe lands , you count points It's hard hitting the target but fun. You get a lot of practice throws! Nothing like the satisfaction of hitting the bullseye!! Hit it twice in a row and you feel like wonder women!! Conclusion: I'm coming back. I've never had so much fun doing exercise. :)

It's not just the staff (though, the staff are all great, especially Averi), the other members are all amazing too. My wife is now a league member as well and our thirteen month old daughter always comes with us. She's also been welcomed by everyone as part of the BATL family, and as dangerous as axe throwing sounds, it's one of the places I feel safest with my daughter, and letting her hang out with other people. Definitely check this place out. Even if you only go for a night and don't join a league, I promise that you'll have an amazing time and feel like part of the BATL family by the time you leave. If you join a league though, join Sunday!

My friends and I were looking for something fun and a little bit different to do so we decided to try out axe throwing at BATL. It was a great night! After arriving and getting set up we were taught the basics by our wonderful instructor Averi who helped us out and got us all throwing fairly accurately after a couple of practice rounds. Once we were all hitting the boards Averi set us up for a small tournament (group of 6). We started with head to head matches in a round robin and then had elimination rounds to finally crown a champion (me lol). It was tons of fun the whole way though. BATL has 8 lanes an can accommodate any size group. Our group of 6 was on 2 lanes and I believe any group over 12 gets 4 lanes. They also have a small bar with drinks and snacks to keep you fueled up while the axes are flying. The staff at BATL is amazing. Our instructor Averi was super fun and very helpful. She took the time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing and was just really fun to hang out with between rounds. Everyone else from BATL was very helpful and accommodating as well. It was nice to see people who really enjoyed their work and they made the mood there something special. We will definitely be back again. This place is a keeper for sure.
