I enjoyed my meal, a monte cristo with fresh fruit. My partner enjoyed the classic eggs Benedict & the fresh blackberry compote. The atmosphere & service were excellent. This place is amazing!!!!! Came in on Sunday around 10ish, no wait seated right away. They came right to the table to get our drink order (just coffee) but they had fresh cream not the little containers. I ordered the classic Benedict with fruit instead of toast, highly recommended this! Eggs poached perfectly and fruit was fresh (even came with kiwi), hollandaise sauce was on point and loved how they served it on a slice of sour dough instead of English muffin. My Tucson frittatas which was delicious as well (she was nice enough to share), my favorite on the frittatas was the goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. I seen they have shrimp an grits, I will be back to try those! They also sell homemade jams that I should have bought, but will for sure next time! Busy local breakfast place with cheerful servers. I frequented last summer when I was on maternity leave, and it worked well because there is plenty of outdoor seating with room for my stroller. When it gets busy, it's a bit hectic, but worth the wait. I love their coffee drinks and, despite the name, eating there as a vegetarian works just fine! The service here is perfect; very attentive and your food is delivered quickly. I noticed some homemade jams on the table and the waitress mentioned that her brother makes all the jams. You can even purchase some jars to take home ! The food is decent - what I like about the corned beef is that it has no onions or bell peppers, but still has plenty of flavor. If you order the fruit, you will get a great selection-there were melons and kiwi in mine. The the prices are pretty good for breakfast (better than most places in Novato). Came here for Father's Day for brunch. It was FD, so it was pretty busy. We waited about 30 min to be seated and then around 45 min for our food. I could see other diners were getting antsy waiting for their food, but we were just people watching, so the wait wasn't bad. I had the Monte Christo and it was really good as well as a side of the much talked about "bacon". It lived up to the hype. sweet/savory and delicious. U would definitely come back. I just inhaled my delicious breakfast. I found my new 'secret' getaway. Bacon specializes in Breakfast/brunch. Most dishes center on the egg but, they do have burgers and other sandwiches if you prefer. I highly recommend breakfast. It was hard to choose between the long list of 'Benedict's,' the flavorful frittatas and the appetizing pancake-waffle-French toast menus. But, I did....my choice for breakfast was the 'Tien's Frittata. This lovely creation includes: mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, olive sausage, basil and goat cheese. The flavor was extraordinary....the basil really made the dish. It blended so well with the sausage, creamy cheese and other ingredients. My goodness.....it comes with toast and potatoes. The hash browns were crisp and fluffy. The sourdough was chewy and flavorful. It certainly came from a bakery not, a grocery. Hubby had, the California with eggs, bacon and avocado. Wonderful breakfast in a cute, clean spot with great service. Ample parking (lot behind if no street parking available), both indoor & outdoor seating and a yummy diverse menu. My Mom and I split a breakfast and it was the perfect amount for us as we were eating lite based on our schedule. No hassle about sharing a meal, brought a 2nd plate out before food. Server was very attentive and checked our hot tea water several time (tea drinkers know the pain of trying to get/beg for more hot water). I'm disabled so these weekly treats are a way I can catch up on the news with my son and have a beautiful breakfast. My son had the Pancake Combo Plate with Bacon and Hash Browns. I had the German Bratwurst, Eggs Over Easy, Hash Browns and English Muffin. Both of us agreed "Delicious!" "Generous portions," "Beautifully cooked and presented." Generous with condiments including butter, ketchup and strawberry jam. The jam was a fresh, not overly sweet a kind of compote/jam I really enjoyed. My son's pancakes, eggs and hash browns were perfectly prepared. Generous portions and nicely presented again. We both love breakfast. Bacon is a wonderful find.
