Good , Big, Full of flavor and taste fresh. Hate the fact that for $15 I have packaged dressing. Horrible dressing. Service is really in and out. Since it was to go. However it's always packed in there, read more

Bacoli Pizza - Crispy chicken Caesar Salad - Pizza Near Me - Lakewood, New Jersey

8/21/25 - Before the game, we grabbed slices at the highly rated Bacali Pizza in Lakewood. I should have known better as Lakewood isn't exactly a pizzeria hotbed. The bad: the crust on the plain underneath and on the outer rim was extremely dry. So it gives you decent crunch but not much on flavor. It's clear that they are not rubbing the dough with olive oil. Pretty sure they aren't mixng any oil in the dough either. The cheese is definitely not 100% real whole milk mozzarella cheese. There's some in the mix for sure, but there's some of the cheap stuff in there as well. The sauce was bland too. No oregano flavor. No basil flavor. Very little garlic flavor. All of these shortcomings apply to the Sicilian slice with one other noticeable problem. The crust on the Sicilian absolutely has NONE of that Sicilian pizza taste. They are likely making the crust using the same dough as they use for their neopolitan pies. The result is--- it makes it taste like their regular pizza just thicker. That's a fail. Overall Rating: C- read more

Just tried to place an order for delivery the gentleman on the phone was so incompetent he took my order charged my credit card then called me back and said he can't deliver to my address. their establishment is in Lakewood and I'm also in Lakewood. I would not recommend ordering pizza from this place to anyone. I would give zero Stars if I could This place is a joke read more

Friendly people, fair prices, and the food is excellent. Small restaurant with a few tables.

Great pizza and subs! Friendly, prompt service. This part is just to meet the 85 character minimum.

This was not good at all. We will not repeat the crust was very soggy and prices were expensive. Cheese was not melted.

Best pizzeria in the area. I ordered the meat lovers and garlic knots. Second time ordered pepperoni calzone and eggplant sandwich with generous amount of sauce. Service is great. The guys behind the counter seem to work great together. read more

The most amazing margarita pizza I have ever had! The calamari was perfect & the cannoli crazy amazing. I tried a couple of pizza places in New York city on our trip... but had to go to Lakewood, NJ to get the good stuff. Very fast service as well. read more

I ordered an Italian cold sub with mayo, and oil and vinegar, and swiss cheese. The size of the bread wasn't the size of a large sub. 17$ for a regular size sandwich and one slice of cheese is crazy. Shared it with a buddy, we both said couldn't taste mayo either. Now we going to share a box of Mac and cheese so we feel like we ate something read more

Been coming here since after Hurricane Sandy, Since they LITERALLY were the only place still with power in the area. They're usually always busy because why not? They're food is excellent. The pizza to the Zepoli to the Penne Ala Vodka, and my friends who I've brought here have said "These are the best (Buffalo) Wings I've ever had!" The staff is very friendly. Its always clean. The drink selection is vast in their cooler. Plus chips are availible too. Can't go wrong with this pizzaria! read more

To begin with their order online system is extremely user-friendly I was able to place an order very quickly for my customer delivery. Although I did not sample any of their food my customers later told me that the salads were fantastic as well as the pizza! Food delivered on time and everyone was happy! read more

Just moved to the area . Wanted vodka pizza but they dont make it however they suggested i try the penne w vodka sauce . Was glad i did. It Was delicious! I ate leftovers 3 days in a row! now Im a pizza snob so i can only say that the pizza in my opinion is fair. My son got a cheesesteak and said it was average but he is extremely picky so...... and lastly, the zeppoles - too chewy - but, in their defense, ive never gotten a zeppole at any pizza joint that are like when u get them fresh at a fair or on the boardwalk. the staff is also super friendly but not annoyingly so. Therefore i will be back to keep trying different things because for the most part i enjoyed it and they are very close to me:) read more

Best pizza ever! This is our regular pizza place now and they deliver to us in Brick! Last pizza we had was Sicilian white with grilled chicken and broccoli. Amazing. read more

I'm not quite sure how this place is so highly rated. I moved nearby recently and thought I was getting a good deal by going for the 2lg pizzas and a 2l soda for 22.99 I was mistaken. The crust is much too thick with far too much developed gluten lending to an unreasonably chewy crust. If the dough had not been worked so far it could have easily been stretched to double the size but alas the "large" was barely 14". The sauce was barely noticeable lacking any depth of flavor, neither acidic or savory, I won't be surprised to learn it is sweetened tomato paste diluted with water. The cheese was overpoweringly bland, low quality cheap shredded cheese using quantity over quality. Overall the entire pizza lacked salt and depth. My waistline is grateful for this experience, no need to return. read more

I absolutely love this spot for pizza , their chicken Ceasar salad pizza is Amazing !! All their pizza is amazing . I really wish they had a location in Toms River . I don't really frequent on that side of town but when I do I definitely make sure to make a pit stop for a slice or two read more

Best pizza around! Their specialty slices are huge, not skimpy what so ever compared to a lot of other pizzerias. Staff is very friendly.

One of my favorite pizza places. Fantastic crust (on the thicker side and cooked perfectly) and LOADED with cheese. Very generous with the toppings. It's a really filling pizza that tastes great! Really good wraps and sandwiches too! read more

One of my favorite places around. The guy who usually picks up the phone knows who I am and starts speaking Italian because of my name. They have reasonable prices and good quality food. Delivery is sometimes sluggish but that is because they are always busy. Everytime you walk foot into there place its packed with people. I would suggest checking out there lunch specials menu which is never a disappointment. read more

Excellent food in a pinch. Good pizza. Great chicken parmesan sandwich. Now the secret is that this place has amazing cannoli, follow me blind and just order one! read more

Awesome Pizza! We order from here quite often. Even a plain pizza is good here! Great service as well!

Really great white pizza. Individual slices always have a good variety. Great garlic knots.

The food is mediocre and the service is terrible. They are so rude to me every single time I call to order. The delivery guy added his own tip to my card and stole money from me. I called to bring this to the owners attention and he brushed me off and said he'd call me back and never did. He did not even want to hear it. I will never be returning to this place. Awful business. read more
