DECEPTIVE MARKETING: Can I leave zero stars?…read more Attempted to purchase a vehicle from Orlando Preowned advertised at $20,995 on the website. After scheduling an independent prepurchase inspection received the dealership's initial with an additional "Reconditioning" fee of $1987. When challenged, "the manager approved" a reduction of $500 for this "standard" fee. I let the vehicle go. Salesperson continued to ping my email with pressure that another sale might be pending, so I rereviewed the website and noted that Orlando Preowned advertises in general an on the specific vehicle "Zero Junk Fees & Zero Dealer Fees: The price you see is the price you get". While I'm no lawyer, this infers to me that the price on the vehicle landing page is the sale price I should expect. When confronted with this insight (with the GM copied), the salesperson dug their heels in again, reiterating this was a "standard" fee. The GMs response was to cut/paste the salespersons email as a reply without addition. Now I'm not a dumb consumer, and clearly certinly not as bright as the employees of this company, but " The price you see is the price you get" does mean something to the most of us, and I don't' think it aligns with Orlando Preowned's point of view. Disingenuous at best, more inline with deceptive, bait & switch

Sidney was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Sidney really went above and beyond to ensure I understood every feature of the car and got a great deal. I couldn't be happier with my new Tesla and the top-notch service at Michael's Auto. Highly recommended!" "I'll admit, I was a bit nervous about buying a car all the way from Chandler, AZ. But Sidney at Michael's Auto made the distance feel like no big deal at all!" Sidney did a great job, great communication, texting and phone calls. He made the whole process simple and easy. I got on a flight from Phoenix to Orlando, Sidney picked me up, took me to the dealership, opened the dealership up early morning, got the car out for a test drive, did all the paperwork. It was by far the best. I would buy a car sight unseen from Sidney. He is a man of his word! He also checked on me all the way home to Chandler, AZ! I went back to Honda because everything was so unorganized here there was one girl that came up to me. She didn't even call me back by the way, so I went back with my original car. I waited about 24 hours... She could hardly speak in the English. Not to mention the bathroom area was so cold and weird. It was unisex not to mention everybody's sitting there like puppets in the waiting room, it was like they were on trial for a jury. Not to mention the first impression when I went in, wanting him to buy this car the Y series everyone's drilling TVs into the wall. It was the most cold awkward unprofessional place I've ever been to in all my life when purchasing a vehicle. If you wanna have your diaper taken care of, you might want to roll into this place. I have never in my life experience such unprofessionalism. It was so horrible. I ran out of there. I don't care what anybody says about this place and about the car the place and the professionalism was so pathetic You couldn't pay me to buy a car like that because the pathetic unprofessionalism is what it is. You couldn't pay me $1 million to buy a car from that place. The whole place was in shambles. It looked at you're freaking a sin asylum. It was so disgusting if you gave me a car from there for free I wouldn't want it because the customer service was so awkward and weird. I just can't even begin to tell you again and again and again how disgusting that places. Drilling holes in the wall the cold feeling when you walk in and then all these little puppets sitting wanting their car serviced there had to be about 35 people sitting there eating their little chips and this was at 10 AM when I had my appointment all these people needed their car serviced and they were all munching on Dorito chips and there was no water to be found. It was the worst service center I've ever seen in my entire life. The reason why I keep talking is because I'm actually traumatized by the fact that it was so horrible and I actually told the girl that I was interested. She never gave me a call back worst customer service and worse everything I can't even begin to comment. It was so horrible that I can't stop talking about it because I've never in my entire life been through such a weird experience.

He never mentioned if I could do financing or if it was cash only no trades - I was rushed off the first time ever phone call with the fact he would send me directions and I could use my phone to find it rather than responding to my question as to which side of road it was on Lee Road or Edgewater Drive in Orlando - no response just a text message with business name & address and his name. So i looked the dealership reviews up and found 5 out of 5 BAD REVIEWS on yelp and now he's got 6 out of 6 as of today's date because I think if he had anything to say to be objective he brings up ANOTHER person's story that is not listed here with information about a drivers license and keeping the deposit - obviously I told him he should check out his reviews that are public prior to giving me a rebuttal to a story I didn't know about. So that person should have immediately done a review and prevented the heartache for future customers. I called back and asked if this was the SAME person from the reviews I had read and he did rudely tell me he has been in business for 10 years and I shouldn't tell him how to run his business. Well offering advice never told anyone how to be a nice person and learn better customer service skills would be the BEST advice I could give. If the review before mine I don't care WHAT year the review is - if he's been in business 10 years then these reviews OBVIOUSLY match up to the stories that have been told for years. I told him he should respond to the customers who have had issues and blogged about it - it shows integrity for a business to accept their mistakes HEAD ON. When I called back and made sure before making the judgment NOT to go there based on negative reviews online - I called back and he said to get my head checked and my money was not good there - it would not spend well there and he wouldn't want "my kind" of business anyways. 3rd phone call I recorded and will be reporting him to the BBB so that others can get the pleasure of NOT dealing with him anymore. I have not spent money or lost money with this person but if he is rolling back the clocks on the mileage and they do not match the Carfax reports - then that is a crime in itself. He could not deny that he doesn't do that - I asked him directly and he asked who i worked for. I do not know anyone who has ever gone there I am purely someone who answered an ad for a car that was posted as BUY OWNER and found out it was a dealership after calling.
