"It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5

I'm pretty consistent in ordering the athena bowl with rare salmon, and they always get it right (not everyone does!). They also have great wings and burgers. Also great bartenders and servers, and they outdid themselves recently when we ordered takeout, usual fare, and the salmon was overcooked (gasp). When I called them to let them know, not that i really expected them to do anything, it seems the order-taker had erroneously said "well cooked," hence the clear error. They credited us for the entire order, which far exceeded expectation - very classy!! Well played, Rev Kitchen! :)

We went to Boston to get our Global Entry taken care of, and thought why not so here we are. Full restaurant and bar greets us. Indoor, covered and protected outdoor seating. We decided to hang inside. We were seated quickly and quick to get service. Appetizers were delicious and we could have probably been fine with that, but with Gf options and wanting to try more we over ordered. Orders pizza to take out for later. It was good, I wonder if it would have been better fresh out of the oven, which is why it didn't get the 5 star. We will be back great find.

The restaurant is deceptively large with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was prompt even on a busy Saturday evening and our server was enthusiastic about the food. I also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were terrific. I snuck bites of my husbands truffle fries, which were also super good. My husband ate every bite of his sea salt burger, which he reported was very good between bites. Also worth noting that the burger patties were gigantic. We finished up dinner with an Irish coffee. Yum! Overall, this is a really good choice for dinner. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here for a meal if you're in the area.

We recently went for my sister's birthday while I was in town. The building is starting to look a bit rundown (note the missing windows above the main entrance) and there is quite a bit of staining on the ceiling, apparently from water leaks. The wait staff was great, and we all like the salad bar and the bread and cheese that you cut yourself. The entrees, however, were disappointing. The meat on three of our four orders was overcooked (my nephew's medium rare steak was burned and charred on the outside), and three of the four sides (steamed vegetables and rice) were served ice cold. I ordered the baked scallop and steak combo and the scallops were delicious, but my medium steak was well done, and my vegetables were cold. By the time they brought out replacement vegetables and rice, we were already almost halfway through our meals. I used to love coming here when I was younger when the wait staff dressed in overalls and hats like train engineers. This place definitely needs a makeover to get it back to the fine dining experience it used to be.

Chicken kabob sandwich - juicy, perfectly grilled chicken and my husband got the mouth-watering pastrami sandwich. We packed half of it up for dinner tonight. I only gave 4 stars due to the lousy, noisy, raunchy bar flies. They couldn't care less about other customers as they were shouting and cussing away. Having a conversation with my husband was impossible. The bartender, who was 5 stars in her service to us, attempted to remind these people to stop yelling. I understand being a local, as I am one, and it makes me want to keep my favorite places in business. However, disruptive and rude bar flies should be shut out ff earlier and asked to leave or at the very least pipe down. Ultimately, I highly recommend anyone local or out of town to try The Tin Whistle for the food and service. Maybe try one of the tall comfy wooden booths would make for a better atmosphere.
