My review is based on our visit to the farm store last weekend. I am so impressed with how Backer Farm responded to COVID-19. They have kept their farm store stocked with great items to feed your family. There door of the store was open and I could pay by Venmo which is a great social distancing option. I was able to get eggs, meat and yogurt. Great farm!

We had a great visit to Backer Farm! Picked pumpkins, got a hayride, fed animals, and visited their farm store. Will absolutely be back.

Both kids love the camp and have made many new friends there, and have no complaints about it at all. It's a very basic Y camp so not a ton of bells and whistles, but they keep the kids occupied and having fun, and that's really all that counts.

I was glad to be informed however it's freighting to get a email like that while your child is staying at a sleep away camp and you can't call them. This camp's staff lacks training in supervision and emotional development. My daughter behaved in a way that was out of character and I believe it has to do with the environment. When a classroom is out of control it's because the teacher does not have control of the classroom. They could implement more exercises related to emotional development and respect for humans. Lastly there staff... I was waiting for someone to assist me with making a payment online and I never got a call back until a month later where a staff member called me harassing me for payment and said no one was supposed to call me. She was so rude to me. I was treated disrespectfully she literally muted my voice when I asked for assistance and when I emailed the director Julie she passively said "I'm sorry there tone came off that way" and directed me to make a payment in a different format that we initially agreed on. This is a massive organization that receives billions of dollars and is well funded to assist specifically single low income households like mine. There mission statement says they help people yet they have staff that are unhelpful and treat people indecently which says a lot about there organization. They're mission statement needs to be changed to "we don't respect people we just make sure we get paid"
