So far so good. Very professional on the phone. First spray Saturday. I'm excited to see how they do.

Hire Phil! I…read morereached out (via Yelp) to many companies for the box elder bug mass invasion of our home. Phil responded within 30 minutes of my request. He was able to give me a quote over text and could come out the next day!!! All of the other companies that bothered to reply couldn't come out for a week or more, and they gave a "starting" bid. Phil kept in constant communication with me. He let me know when he was on his way and when he would be arriving. He even arrived a little earlier than the window given. He walked the perimeter of the house, looked at all of my concerns, explained that what I thought were box elder were actually another beetle (no red x on their back). I knew of one area where wasps were getting in under the patio ceiling, and soffit around the house. Phil not only hit the entire perimeter of the house, yard, trees, and area where I knew the wasps to be, but he hit the entire soffit everywhere there was space to spray. He offered to come inside the house and spray all of window frames, but I didn't think it necessary. Needless to say, we had bug graveyards surrounding the house within a day. I did notice a few stragglers after about 5 days and when I asked him about it, he said he'd be out to do a second treatment. Full disclosure we have a lot of trees, of which some are growing over the house touching the roof above the window I noticed a few (like three instead of thirty) bugs hanging around. He offered to come inside and this time I said yes. He wore protective slippers over his shoes and hit every window in and door upstairs and down. I am SUPER pleased with not only his work, but his professionalism and personality. I HIGHLY recommend Ecoline Pest Control.

I travel quite a bit and came home to find several spots in my home with an inordinate number of…read moreants. I called Black Arches and they sent Steve out the same day! Steve was incredibly courteous, thorough, and professional. He explained everything and got to work. The cost was lower than I anticipated and I have not seen an ant since! Black Arches gets the job done and does it for the right price. I highly recommend.

I called Black Arches to come to my home to address a bed bug problem. I was told it may take more…read morethan one application to rid the issue. The service tech was very friendly, but I thought it odd he only spent about 15 minutes total time applying the solution. Within a few days bugs were still alive and well. I called to report my findings after a week and the same tech responded. He said he would use a different solution, which he applied. Again, within a day or two more bugs were observed. The last time the tech visited he told me their work is guaranteed. So I called them a third time, (a week later) believing they would do a third application with no charge. I was wrong. Not only did they charge me for the third application, it did not work either! I still have the same amount of bed bugs as before. Save your time and money and find a more reparable company! Unfortunately, after the first visit I wrote them a very positive review based on their ability to respond quickly and the attitude and politeness of the tech.

Outstanding service. The guy is a one man show, or so he says. He was very knowledgeable about our…read moretrees, and the problems they were having. We compared the cost and found him slightly more competitive than most other bids we received. On top of that, they use Eco-Friendly products. Our house smelled like a mint when he left and our trees have recovered nicely. He even sold us less than we were willing to buy! Highly Recommend!

Another update: Well, things just took a crazy turn! Yesterday I wrote that I was 100% confident…read morethat they mean well. But I can admit when I am wrong and boy was I ever wrong! I would not believe it if this had not just happened to me, but the owner of this company, a man 2x my size, literally just showed up at my door to bully me into taking down this review! He actually told me that I am being "un-Christ-like" by not forgiving them! I told him that I can forgive them, but I still feel like I need to warn people about the toxic chemicals that they are using because they misrepresent themselves to their customers. Then he replied that he thinks that I just woke up yesterday morning and decided to destroy his business! So, you get to decide for yourselves. These guys do have some five star reviews, but I wonder how many of their other customers researched their products (like I did) verses taking their word for it (like I did at the beginning). And I wonder how many other people they bullied or bribed into taking down bad reviews. I am literally a full-time volunteer who works to facilitate interfaith dialogue between communities which have been warring for thousands of years (go ahead and google me), and even *I* can't work with this guy. I have nothing to gain from writing this review, other than the piece of mind knowing that I tried to warn my neighbors. So, you can either believe me, or the people who built their business with pictures of kids and dogs playing in beautiful nature, while secretly peddling bifenthrin. Personally I don't know anybody who has experienced anything life-altering from a bug bite, but I do know plenty of people struggling with fertility issues, neurological challenges, and kids with behavioral issues and learning disorders due to toxin exposure. So please do your own research and decide. UPDATE: I received a receipt for today's service which said that the bait boxes were empty, but I was standing there watching when the guy checked them and he said that they were still full (specifically he said that they were "mostly full, or still full depending on who filled them.") He didn't even top them off. And then, the manager called me and offered a full refund and to waive my cancelation fee *IF* I took down my review! So if you like dishonesty and bribery, this company is for you. Original review: We have tried *so* hard with this company. And to be fair, they have tried really hard with us. But we have had one terrible experience after another with them. They didn't show up for multiple appointments, missed a ton of very visible hornets' nests and mud dabber nests, left the garage door open on a rainy day which ended up drenching several boxes of stuff, and gave us contradictory information about rats at every visit. And after several months, not one of their traps ever caught a single rat. But the thing that ripped it for me was finding out today what is in their bug spray. The spray that they said was just essential oils, the spray that they used to soak our carpet, our doors including the door knob and doggy door, and even a few of my toddler's toys which were left near the wall, is actually a known neurotoxin and endocrine disrupter. If they had read the warning booklet they would have seen a long list of precautions to avoid human exposure and first aid in case it accidentally came into contact with skin, eyes, or the mouth. But they sprayed it on toys. Think about that for a minute. Poison on toddler toys. These people are genuinely some of the nicest people I have ever tried to work with. I am 100% confident that they mean well. I don't think they would have sprayed that crap on toys if they had known that it was toxic. (I even told them all about how careful we are about pesticides because we are trying to conceive again.) But for a company that brands itself as "Nature's Balance" and tells people that the spray is just peppermint oil, they *should* have known better.
