Rather than upselling me on a brand-new and pricey rebuild, Shannon cloned all of my data over from my current hard drive, put it on a new hard drive, and upgraded me to Windows 11. And through sheer determination, Shannon also fixed my reboot time -- it went from 2.5 hours down to under a minute. This was without a doubt a hugely time-consuming and frustrating process, but Shannon and his team went above and beyond to diagnose and repair it. Checked out their website, then gave them a call about cleaning up my Mac before my vacation. I put it off to the last minute and wasn't sure they could help. Luckily, they could help me, and the rush fee was $100. I love that fact they picked up the phone and it wasn't some dead doornail employee who could care less about my computer issue. Chris, the owner, actually answered the phone. He said to bring it down. I came in that same day and he told me they would: clean it up, install new OS, remove junk, and speed it up overall. He quoted me end of the week, but it was ready sooner, so happy about because it would be ready for vacation. Total came out to about $430 with the rush fee. It's been about 6 weeks now and my computer is running amazing, so fast! They also have refurbished Macs for sale, which I'll be back for when my current computer stops working. Super 5 Stars for DC Computers! They care about their business and customers. So glad I found them.

I searched online for Tech Support in San Diego and then contacted several firms. Some were not responding to voice mail messages and, when we eventually spoke, had high rates and long lead times before a tech could be sent to my office. John Airy of On-Site Techs returned my call almost immediately, has reasonable rates and could see me the next day. Once John assessed the time for transfer of data from computer to computer, he recommended saving time by taking the two laptops to his location to complete the data transfer. He then was willing to return on a holiday to adjust the views on the new computer to my familiarity so that I could function for the next work day. John is extremely knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. He communicated well to explain how views could be adjusted and he made good suggestions without tying to upsell programs. I am an Apple user and I was having trouble with my laptop. I was unable to pull up any information…read moreon my system. This was a huge problem because I had some critical data on the laptop that I needed to access and couldn't. After several attempts to have the problem fixed at not only the Apple store but with a couple of so called local experts I was at the end of my rope. A friend of mine told me that he knew a guy in San Diego who was a wizard with Apple systems. I contacted Peter with Mac Services and explained the problem. He gave me his address and I sent him my laptop via overnight mail. He contacted me the following day to tell me that it had arrived and he would take a look at it right away. An hour later I got a call from Peter and he explained what the problem was and said he had the parts in stock and he could fix the problem and overnight the laptop back to me. He was upfront regarding the costs and I felt that he was confident and he knew what he was talking about. After I gave the OK and agreed to the charges it was three hours later when Peter called and said the problem and had been fixed and my system was tested and working fine and it was in the mail. The following day I received my laptop and it works just fine, in fact better than it did when it was new. I can't thank Peter enough for his help and now I make sure I back everything up. Lesson learned.
