Couldn't be more stoked about this place. Every one is super nice and 5 chiropractors later, 2 pt/ot spots 3 acupuncturists I finally found a place that could fix my shoulder. I havnt been able to bench with any weight for a little over 2 years and this place fixed it in a few sessions. I now come all the time and this is the spot to go if you need the help. They take the time to work on what you need worked on and they got some good people over here. Scheduling and everything I've dealt with over here has been top tier and I couldn't recommend it enough. If you're dealing with an injury or just need the maintenance you have to give this place a shot. read more

I can't say enough about Back to Function. From a friendly greeting from Jennifer when you walk in the door to your appointment with an incredibly knowledgeable chiropractor to personal Pilates instructor Whitney. My family members & I have been going there for over 10 years now and are always impressed. I've been helped with different pain issues & worked out with Dr. Chad & always enjoy Pilates with Whitney. The whole team is super knowledgeable & caring and always makes sure to get you "Back to Function"! read more

Finding a great chiro you can trust, not only to make you feel better, but to function better in the long run is hard to find. That's why I'll take the trek from the OC to come to the South Bay to visit Dr Chad. He's helped my daughter overcome numerous gymnastics injuries (knee, shin and ankle) and he's gotten her back to function every time!! He keeps her in the gym and competing at the highest level. Can't say enough great things about Dr.Chad and his staff. Thanks for everything Doc!! read more

I have been experiencing on-going shoulder and elbow pain and after just two appointments with Dr Chad, chronic pain has subsided and mobility has returned. I highly recommend Dr Chad Moreau to anyone who is experiencing chronic shoulder and elbow pain. read more

We've known Dr Chad for over 10 years and my kids started to visit his office for athletic training and treatment over the years. My son has benefitted from his visits and can say that it has helped him enough to play college ice hockey competitively at the ACHA D1 level. I have now started visiting the office and plan to continue doing so. I highly recommend the doctors at BTF. read more

After my car accident I honestly never thought I would be able to swim the same again. In fact Doctors told me so for the last year and a half. In just a month of working with Dr Chad and Dr Ashley, I am back to swimming the same swim sets I used to. They have my balance working better than ever. This is only the first month, I can't wait to be beating those old swim times with their help. The office is very professional but makes you feel right at home. Mary is amazing at working with your schedule to make sure you get all the right treatments and help you need. I'm so thankful that I have found this team at BTF and I can't wait to continue with them. I am forever for you all. read more

Back To Function - Another great off season completed with Seahawks Garry Gilliam! Congrats to Back To Function and Rado Nutrition on the success. - Chiropractors Near Me - Lomita, California

Just had my initial appointment with Dr. Chad today. I've been trying different things to help my leg pain, which has significantly reduced my ability to do every day activities . I saw that Dr Chad is also certified with PRI, which is what I was looking for. I explained to him that I wanted to be actively involved in my treatments, as my other physical therapists didn't explain to me anything. But I have a technical mind. So Dr Chad explained exactly how I was out of alignment, which was exactly what I'm looking for. I also got some exercises today, and a chiropractic treatment and feel good about this place! I can see why its hard to explain terms to laymen like me , and I feel like I have a ton to learn about anatomy. And it does take away time from exercises and adjustments. But I still feel like I can "catch" up to the terminology, and think knowing why and how this is a better long term approach to my recovery. He even told me stuff I should avoid doing , and I think that's so important for me. I'm going to do my exercises , and look forward to my next treatment ! read more

Every aspect of Back to Function gets 5 stars from me! From the brilliant staff, to the availability, flexibility, quality of care, invested practitioners, professionalism, individual targeted care to the effective treatments - I have experienced the best model for getting folks "Back to Function". Dr. Chad, Dr, Erica, Dr. Arthur and jack of all trades Mary are top notch! Any one of the doctors can step in and take over where the other left off if need be - that type of consistency is priceless. I had debilitating back issues for over a year, saw all the specialists, orthopedics, chiropractors, pain specialists, osteopaths, massage therapists, etc - no one could figure out the problem. One visit with Dr. Chad, and voila - a diagnosis that matches the symptoms. He is a master diagnostician and rehabilitator. Moreover, he discovered all my subtle underlying muscle and structural imbalances that contributed to the problem in the first place. He crafted a treatment plan that had me pain free in no time and tackled the issue of bringing my whole body back in to stability and balance. I am forever grateful for Back to Function and continue to make the drive to both locations despite driving by several dozen options on my way, I only refer to Back to Function and everyone I've referred to is as grateful, satisfied and healthy as me! I only want what's best for my body - and I found it at Back to Function! read more

I fist came to Back to Function after an MRI showed a bulging disc and pinched nerve caused my terrible lower back pain. I had suffered for years, seen several chiropractors, tried acupuncture and traditional PT. Dr. Arthur Hong not only got me out of pain and exercising properly (using deep tissue massage, chiropractic work and physical training), he was the ONLY doctor who explained the CAUSE of my pain and treated the source rather than applying quick fixes. I now feel I'm in control of remaining pain-free and only need maintenance appointments now. I feel better than ever and recommend Dr. Hong to anyone I know suffering from pain! read more

Chad and his BTF team have treated our entire family for years. From training our boys to minimize pain during athletics, recovery from serious sports injury to keeping me from needing surgery for a posterior meniscus tear (6 years and no surgery and no pain!). We always go here first for any skeletal/tissue issue. They teach you proper exercises to get out of pain and return to normal activity/athletics. Thank you Chad & BTF! read more

The best!!!!!!! Dr. Chad killed it!! Back to Function {BTF} with Dr. Chad and their staff of doctors {Dr. Erica & Dr. Arthur} and office manager {Mary} are very solid. I am a former small college jock, who is still active in sports with officiating & trying to stay in shape. The atmosphere is cool at BTF and I like that Erica & Chad are former track athletes, who competed at the NCAA DI level, as well as the Olympics. I like that Dr. Chad deals with professional athletes, mainly NHL guys, and filters what he learns to his folks like myself when it comes to training and injury resolution. I've been a patient since 2005 and BTF has gotten me through two half marathons, a serious Achilles tendon condition and the past seven basketball seasons officiating roughly 50 plus games a season. read more

If your looking for permanent pain relief then Back To Function is the place to go. They use a combination of hands on therapy and exercise to relieve the pain and help you understand how to keep it gone. I went there for help with my lower back. What I loved about their system is they do a whole body evaluation before starting on any solutions. The Dr's are with you the whole time and are really good at making sure you are doing all the exercises right before you leave. The hands on therapy is really wonderful and all 3 of the Dr's work together so they are all well aware of what needs to be done. On top of that the entire office is full of nothing but very nice people who are truly interested in what's best for you. read more

Dr. Chad is super! About 8 years ago I had a shoulder injury (torn rotator cuff) that I was told would need surgery. I decided to see Dr. Chad as a last resort. Within about 3 visits my shoulder was feeling about 85% better after months of pain and limited mobility. After a couple more visits (and doing the simple rehab exercises he gave me), my shoulder was as good as new. I stay active with a few different sports, and every once in a while I do tweak something or get injured. What I love about Back to Function is that they not only treat the injury itself, but they understand how and why my body was vulnerable to that specific kind of injury and they work with me to strengthen/lengthen/fix the underlying issues so that I'm less likely to be injured in the future. I have recommended probably a dozen people to Back to Function and every single one of them has been impressed by their practice. read more

After having physical injuries all my life because of my work and being an athlete/dancer in my younger years, dealing with pain has become a norm, but it doesn't take away from the fact that you know something isn't right. So walking into Back to Function was the right decision. I always use Yelp to point me in the right direction and it hasn't disappointed. Dr. Ashley was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough with her assessment and she knew what to do. I didn't doubt any of her assessments of the cause for my pain. I'll be going back next week and look forward to it. Great place, great doctors! read more

If you are looking for treatment for any bodily pain, to improve your fitness & nutrition levels or both, this is the place to be. I've been a patient since 2006 and my fitness levels and overall health have improved by leaps & bounds. I was 35 at the time and I played ice hockey and softball but I would be achy and out of shape. Enter Back to Function and Dr. Chad Moreau got the pieces together so that I was pain free and a lot stronger. I'm 41 now and I feel a lot better than I was back then. Feel free to message me with any questions, I can recommend him enough! read more

Excellent professional care and service! I had a likely compressed sciatic nerve which caused buttock pain, hamstring/calf weakness, and numbness in the toes. I spent a month prior to going to Back in Function attempting to find relief from other massage therapist and chiropractors. Back to Function's Dr. Arthur was able to provide me unquestionable immediate relief after the initial visit. After three visits I was able to initiate rehabilitation of the injury and reintegration back to my training routine. Thank you Back to Function! read more

I came to Back to Function with lower back, shoulder, neck and hip pain. Dr. Arthur really took the time to understand me and the issues I was having and gave me targeted treatment and exercises based on my physical goals. After receiving treatment from Dr. Arthur at BTF, I'm happy to say that I was able to start running again and biking for the first time in YEARS without discomfort! I'm feeling better than I have in years and am hopeful that I will progress and get back to the level of fitness before my injuries. read more

Chad and the entire staff at BTF are the best. I first started seeing Chad back in 2005 when I was referred to him for physical therapy through my surgeon. After fully recovering, I still kept going because of the way I felt after each session: 1% better than when I did before walking in. I go to BTF to this day, 10 years later, even though it's a far drive for me. Chad knows his stuff, truly cares for every patient, and continues to improve his craft. Highly recommended! read more

I came to see Dr Hong two weeks ago for recurring shin splints. He started with ART and then moved me to functional training. I can now run at an easy pace with no pain which wasn't possible before. I will continue to work on my progress until I am fully 'Back to Function.' Thanks Dr Hong-I will refer people to you for sure. read more

Dr Arthur Hong has really helped me with a recent irritation of an ongoing bulging disc complaint. Using chiropractic, muscle release techniques and suggesting exercises to help strengthen specific areas, he very quickly managed to reduce my pain level and encourage me to get the exercise going and get moving again. Highly recommended :) read more

Among other chiropractic skills, Dr. Arthur Hong is an expert practitioner in A.R.T. (Active Reflex Therapy). I came into his office with a "severely frozon shoulder", due to the malpractice of a previous doctor who tried to help me with my cronic shoulder problem. At that time, I had almost no range of motion and was in extreme pain. Dr. Hong, through his chiropractic expertise, gave me back my full range of motion and enabled me to continue with my active lifestyle. I would recommend Dr. Hong to anyone who feels side-lined like I did with joint pain and wants to "get back in the game". read more

Phenomenal staff and treatment. Amazing techniques and diagnosis. Dr Chad Moreau has some incredible training and expertise.
