The therapists at this location are highly skilled and very patient. While there are some individual therapy rooms, most activity occurs in the large exercise room which is well-equipped with up-to-date and clean machines and specialized exercise tools. The facility is located on the second floor of a medical office building. There is elevator access to the second floor. Parking outside is uncovered and plentiful even though the lot is shared by many other businesses. I've been to other physical therapy locations in the past and Skypark is by far one of the best if not the best in terms of expertise and individual attention. read more

I've been using Skypark PT for about two years now, specifically for my quite "impressive" lost of orthopedic injuries, some healed but still needing attention and constant maintence, some ongoing as I refuse to sit idly and prefer to stay active, so both rehab, prehab and preventive work. As As former professional athlete (I played NCAA indoor volleyball then represented Poland on the FIVB beach volleyball World Tour for a number of years) I have met and benefited from expertise of numerous different trainers, rehab specialists, and PT professionals from quite a few countries around the globe as well as here in SoCal, representing different and diverse philosophies and approaches to treating athletic injuries. I have to honestly say that working with Chris from Skypark Physical Therapy has not only been extraordinarily effective and beneficial, but also educational, an experience that I am looking forward to every single week. Chris has always been extremely engaged, professional and educated. The manual therapy he's been providing is almost unparalleled, and it's been helping me stay active, still enjoy and coach the game long after I retired from professional sports. I've had my fair share of injuries and in turn have tried quite a few different physical therapy companies. Might still be early but so far, I've been impressed with the knowledge of the staff in working through my injury in a different manner which I've never experienced before for foot/ankle. Skypark physical therapy is great. I have been living with chronic neck and back pain for more than 2 decades. I've seen numerous pain management doctors, orthopedists, and physical therapists. Having worked with at least a dozen physical therapists over the years, I can see that Skypark takes seriously the need for accurately assessing the causes of symptoms and making sure that the patient can do the strengthening exercises in a biomechanics correct way. If your muscles are so used to being in a restricted position that it hinders the patient from benefitting from the exercises, the therapists will do the work (i.e. manually loosening and massaging) to address the muscle dysfunction first. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable. They aren't just mindlessly giving the generic exercises that anyone can find by googling these days. I highly recommend them. read more

i picked skypark because of the rattings after all I judge things by results and by results my first appointment I thought was less than beneficial. for starters, I never felt like there was much interest in my care. I have a very common insurance company, but it took them two weeks to figure that out and I finally said I just needed to get in and get some therapy and by the time I got the insurance figured out, they could only give me an appointment two weeks apart. I'm really in the beginning critical parts of therapy. The therapist didn't ask me too much about the surgery and I'm not sure if you even checked my information thinking that this is pretty common meniscus surgery they know what to do but what he did to my leg created more pain than I had with the initial surgery , and turn it all black and blue and I kept telling him it was way too much. I knew something was up when he would never look me in the eye when he spoke to me. Then I was passed on to someone else for some other exercises which seemed completely normal however, when I was done, nobody gave me any exercises to take home with me and no one offered to schedule more appointments to create some kind of a pattern for therapy. Just for example, the place I moved on to for one they checked my chart asked who the surgeon was and asked in-depth questions about the surgery. Two, they started out exercises that made sense and didn't fear any damage from the exercises. Three, I had the same therapist through the whole session and she made sure I was scheduled on a regular basis under her therapy. Four, she gave me a printed copy of all my scheduled appointments and she gave me a copy of all the take-home exercises I needed to do with the description and also , ability to look at videos if I didn't understand. my results I give Skypark a fail, which I feel bad because they have so many great five star Reviews. I find new places based on Yelp reviews and any friend recommendations. This place was based on reviews and it is great! I wanted to try Chris because of the reviews but he was booked and I didn't want to wait. There's a guy named CJ who I was skeptical to try, but he was trained by Chris and he is fantastic. Lots of pain in working through all the knots in my shoulder, neck and arms but I have so much better movement after each visit. I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and now this shoulder is almost thawed! He is also entertaining as he inflicts pain which makes it easier to handle. Really terrible experience trying to call as a new patient. I asked how I could try and schedule and if my insurance would be accepted. The lady over the phone said she didn't know every insurance is different. I asked if they take Blue Shield of CA PPO and she repeated that she didn't know and won't be there next year and my benefits may be different in the new year. She put in zero effort to facilitate me getting an appointment. Completely unprofessional. Business must be booming to have such disinterest in obtaining new patients. I said fine I'll try somewhere else and she responded "OK no prob!" and hung up. I will find a better place that treats patients with basic respect. read more

Cj , Enoch, Meghan, Chris, Lucy, Wilma, and Kash are absolutely the best team ever!!! I been receiving treatment at this facility for 2 years straight, and when I came in here I could not walk. This place rehabilitated me back to normal and I can't thank them enough. Each and everyone one of these therapists are the absolute best you want someone who truly cares for you this is the place you want to be at. Cj did rehabbed me with my 1st surgery I had he treated me the best he could, although medical malpractice he still did the best with what he had and he's just the best when it comes to sensitive and injured areas. My 2nd surgery Meghan was my treating therapist and her skills are superb. You can tell when someone loves what they do when you get results positive results you write positive things. I can't thank Enoch enough he's awesome and always ready to give any patient treatment in any part of the body. I tore my ACL in December of 2016 and had surgery in February 2017. After surgery, my doctor recommended Skypark Physical Therapy. I was skeptical at first, mostly because I thought he was just trying to drum up business for his friends. However, I soon leaned just how wrong I was. I was assigned to be under Megan's care and she was exceptional. I began coming twice a week and Skypark PT essentially became my second home. I looked forward to each session because the entire staff was always so friendly and encouraging. Everyone is extremely professional and knowledgeable. The techs, Vilma and Hilda, walk you through each of your exercises and willingly demonstrate if needed. The best part about coming here was that I actually saw improvements each week. Especially in the very beginning, I noticed that it was getting easier to straighten my leg, or to put more weight on my bad leg/walk around without crutches, etc. and when I got stronger and they increased the difficulty of my exercises, I was able to tell when certain movements were getting easier. Now that I am finally discharged, I miss coming to Skypark every week and I especially miss checking in with Megan. She and the other staff actually care about their patients and their progress. Megan remembered all the small details from our conversations and would ask how my work meeting went, or how the event I was planning was going. And she was so great about making sure that my exercises were challenging enough and that I was making progress each week. This therapy clinic and staff are GREAT! I was referred here to try to help with long term leg and spine issues from a herniated disc in my lower spine. I had previously had physical therapy, multiple chiropractors over the years, and acupuncture. Nothing seemed to help relieve the numbness and atrophy. The owner Chris evaluated me and was honest and up front that there was some serious problems but he would try to work out the spinal muscles and get some greater mobility to the pelvic structure, the nerve pathway, and lower spine. I will be honest the treatments are painful and grinding, BUT, there has been improvement that I didn't think after so many years was possible. I Can now jog again with minimal fatigue, my limping has nearly gone away, and there are signs of strength returning to my leg, albeit slow. Chris also gave me exercises and recommendations on how to assist myself at home with keeping the spine flexible and returning to activities such as swimming and Jiu Jitsu to keep movement and prevent longer term damage from occurring. Chris is super knowledgeable about the anatomy and diagnosis of certain hidden issues that can affect spinal and muscle health. His honesty and knowledge have gained my utmost respect and admiration.
