Super cute bar! Saw it on Yelp and wanted to check them out during my recent trip to NY! So glad that I did. Definitely has that cozy, neighborhood bar feel! They offer you complimentary popcorn. They don't have a food menu. There isn't a huge selection of spirits. I tried the aperol glitz frozen cocktail - it was light and refreshing and didn't give me brain freeze. The music was jammin'. All the hits from my generation. I'd come back again!

This was a magical little bar with creative drinks, great service and super sweet clientele. It had very post-Broadway show vibes as the bartender, complete with his homemade "stage effect" props, conducted the whole bar to sing along to Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now." I loved my Amaretto Sour Slush, which was cutely decorated with a disco ball stirrer and served in a gummy bear glass.

Cute little spot to catch up and have a drink. Ambiance was nice, but music was very loud (it's a small and intimate spot so that makes sense). The complimentary popcorn was a cute touch and was very delicious. One thing I wish I had known before going was that they only serve some wines and beers. Their selection is quite small and they have no cocktails or house liquor. Not sure if I'd go back given the lack of variety on the menu but overall vibe was great!

We had an amazing time at this local sing along bar! The atmosphere and the crowd was energized all thanks to the talents of Monique the bartender! Her electric personality just pulls you in!! Ten minutes into our time there we were singing along and having a wonderful time!! Even people who walked by couldn't help but feel it, and came in to join in on the fun! We can't wait to go back next time Monique is there.

While trying to get to Pocket Bar, my friend and just so happened to have stumbled into the Back Pocket Bar right behind it. And was genuinely not disappointed. I got the blueberry seltzer and the Aperol Glitz!!!! - both of which were so yummy and refreshing. The aperol glitz in particular was such a delight - it was a frozen aperol spritz slushy with a small disco ball stirrer! The bartender was also so friendly and accommodating, and you definitely get the feel of a cozy hometown bar.

Just a cute bar with great service and a nice selection of wine, beer and frozen cocktails all severed in cute bear shaped mugs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (food required) and unlimited popcorn. Very cute outdoor dining space (actually more space then inside, before) and a great atmosphere perfect for an after dinner drink, catching up or even a date. Happy to see these little bars still thriving.

Solid bar. A very cute and cozy bar with a minimalistic approach that actually works. The concept matches the delivering and if you find it, you'll appreciate A limited selection of beers and wines, which is expected given the size of the place. The low lighting and mirrored walls makes this locale a very intimate atmosphere that is rife with fun times ahead. Smaller groups would make the experience more ideal.

Came to this cute little bar that wasn't busy at all on a Friday night. I enjoyed a dirty apple cider while my friend got the artisan fortified wine which was a small shot but tasted so good! We later also got the frose which was put in a teddy bear shaped cup which was cute but didn't taste as good. It was kind of watered down vodka. We had a friend's birthday celebration here and it was the perfect spot for our group which was about eight people. I liked how it wasn't too crowded and crazy as a lot of bars can get in New York City.

Pip was amazing, and the idea that you should be social in social settings if so refreshing! You need to be as this is what I would call a "boutique bar". Great local spot, that welcomes travelers (literally walked in with my luggage). They just released thier own rosė, delicious. If you have to be near Time Square this is a FANTASTIC alternative to the crush that's the usual in the surrounding area. Under 10 minute walk. DO IT!

Is this venue good for 10+ people parties and birthdays?

It's a very small space. I wouldn't suggest more than 15 people. That will give you enough space to move around comfortably!

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Overall, a great spot for an stress-relieving, spontaneous night out!

There was tons of soap, it smelled nice in there. The beer and shot special under $10 in the city? Haven't seen that in awhile. The beers are super cheap here as well. They feel like old NY prices! Can't complain. They have four booths in the back maybe it was three. I did notice one of the hanging lights was from an 80s pizza hut joint. Letting you know now the paper towels for your face at the table felt like jail toliet paper, very rough. The bar doesn't have bar stools with backs! You either need to get one or two tables by their mini kitchen, very hot there not recommended for preimenopause or menopausal women or one of the booths. This is a great bar they played 60s music a lot. Heard some weird al too! Very random and fun place to be. The bartender was nice as well as security! Try the burger! Worth the $9!!

The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Because this bar could EASILY be that spot. The kind people plan their week around. Where are the themed nights? Where's the drama? The chaos? Give me a reason to come back on a random Wednesday. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.

The view is gorgeous and sweeping. The service is attentive and professional. The drinks are sophisticated. I ended up here because I saw a video about their gin and tonic. Sounds simple, but it's one of my favorite drinks, and I'm always looking for someone who can do it well. I ordered their "dear G&T" and it was a fruity, complex riff on my old favorite. I also got the foreign forage, "a bourbon smash with a mint zing." It was also a delicious take on a classic. They have several types of cocktails, all broken down by spirit and flavor profile. They also offer a lot of spirits made in New York State. They have cocktails with earthy notes, fruity notes, fancy martinis, and a section boasting limited edition and special spirits, if you're "feeling fancy" and wanna cough up 35 bucks instead of 20 or 25! They have a bar snacks menu (sliders, nuts, and the like). I had their thick cut fries and they were light, seasoned, and tasty. I couldn't stop eating them. Midtown or not, I highly recommend this spot, which also has a couple other locations, including Gramercy.
