Frozen Margarita

I can't express how great this bar was! Services and drinks were amzinggg!! Huge shout out to the staff at AC Hotel for recommending this spot and our bartender Jacob for being so welcoming. Definitely will be back next time I'm in NYC

Moscow mule

We came here last minute by referral of a friend and we weren't disappointed. We were expecting a random small bar but it was actually a big nice looking bar/ restaurant. There's lots of TVs and the space itself actually looks decent with the floral decor. The drinks were good, a little on the weaker side but I definitely only got a Moscow mule so it could have been what I ordered. Everyone else did enjoy their drinks. The food was also good as well as we only ordered finger foods. The service we got the entire night was great so thanks to so of the staff as well. Would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a bar last minute in the city.

The happy hour drinks were good. The venue had a soccer game on and it was loud. Since I was sitting up near the front door, it did smell a lot of cigarette smoke. I didn't like that. We had the spicy margaritas and old fashions. The service was slow but friendly. It is OK place. The place wasn't crowded on a Tuesday night so it would be good for groups.

Ambiance was that of a typical sports bar, and drinks were average price, they did taste good but I don't know if I would come back, service was standard.

Truffle Parmesan fries

Nice and a cozy bar near times square. I went there after a movie in AMC. It was not crowded that evening and got tables as soon as we walked in. Ordered pomegranate mojito and an IPA for drinks; also ordered Truffle Parmesan fries for the side. Loved my Mojito: it was just perfect not too sweet or strong. The fries were fresh and crisp too. Definitely try once.

Fried Chicken Sliders

Decent happy hour prices especially for Midtown! Fried chicken sliders, fries were sooo good, and the sauce of the wings (hoisin garlic sriracha) was divine!! Top that off with an $8 rosé-- yes please! Oddly enough, the place is decked out in Steelers stuff... in the middle of NYC? Lol. Okay cool.

Still a popular place after work. One of the few places w happy hour till 7pm. Chips n salsa always good, I love spicy margarita. Service always courteous, place is not too loud so you can carry on a conversation. Great gust TVs all around. Must be a great place to watch the games.

This is a really cool place! It's the perfect mix of classic and modern. The wait staff is great, and I can tell that the margarita has tequila in it, without tasting like hand sanitizer. It's also a great place to watch major sports events, as they have several TVs and large projectors. It's insulated from the sidewalk, so you get a great bar in the middle of Times Square, without the negative effects of the street grime. Would highly recommend!

Great bar. Go Vols! I was in Manhattan for work and just happened to be staying 5 minutes from this bar the night of the final game of the College World Series. This is the official NYC bar for the University of Tennessee. It was a great atmosphere. Awesome place to watch a game in NYC with fellow UT alumni and fans. I didn't try the food, but the beer and atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

I finally made it to Printers Alley to watch a Tennessee football game, and I'm so happy I did! The atmosphere was fantastic, patrons were energetic, and bartenders were great. The game day deals are some of the best in Manhattan. I did whiskey and coke for the game, which was the perfect drink to remind me of Rocky Top. In addition to drinks, my group also enjoyed the curly fries and chips and salsa. While all of the above were great I do think there are improvements that could be made with the reservations. There is very limited seating for walk ins on game day, and reservations were all mixed together in communal tables - sometimes resulting in half of the party having to stand at tables. Downstairs there is open bar seating area but only for about 15 people and the bartender seemed very overwhelmed (only one bartender for all of the downstairs orders). That being said, the bartender was still incredibly friendly despite being busy. Next time I go i'll try to make a reservation. Go Vols!

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

It definitely has the vibe of a speakeasy, especially with the jazz band playing. We went with the brunch special which is $35 for bottomless drinks with the purchase of an entree. It pays off if you're having more than 2 drinks and we made sure we did! Bloody Mary's were excellent! The food here was outstanding. I had the 3 Eggs Any Style and my wife had the Breakfast Flatbread. Those dishes as well as our friends were well made and delicious. If you're headed to a play or just in the area, I'd recommend stopping here to eat, drink or both!

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

Food is good, service was great. Management is horrible…read more I have been frequenting this restaurant for a long time. I noticed recently that there was a $2 transaction fee added to my bill. This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
