Stumbled upon this BBQ food truck at Stone Throw Brewery tonight! It was close to the end of their night and so we told them we were ordering for 6 people...he asked us if we would trust him with our order He put together 3 GENEROUS portions of food to be shared family style! We got *Beef Brisket, Black Bean and Corn Salad and Potato Salad *Mixed Greens and Hush Puppies *waffle Fries topped with Fry Sauce and Cheese! Everything was so delicious...the Beef Brisket so tender and so tasty! They also had many different sauces to add...we tried a little of everything...the one BBQ sauce was so good...tangy and great depth of flavour! We chatted with them a bit and they gave us a great deal on our family style plates! Thank you Back East for the great BBQ tonight we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it...a great pairing with the Stone Throw Brewery!

So nice to have Back East BBQ and crew to come to our school event and provide some of their yummie food for the attendees. The crew were awesome and super friendly which made the whole event fun. My husband really enjoy his plate of BBQ and sides. It was a great deal for only $10! Again thank you for coming and supporting a local school. We can't wait to have you back for future events!

The C3PO... pulled pork on a pretzel bun. So delicious I was half finished before I remembered to take a picture! ($3)

It's been fun watching this "food cart" (though they don't even have a cart...yet) grow and mature over the past couple of years. It's clear this is a couple with a passion for BBQ, and (more importantly) a talent for pulling it off and creating some wonderful dishes. Their pulled pork is rich and delicious, and their brisket (which sells out quickly) is worth the trip. If you catch them on "$4 tapas" day it's fun to try several different small bites. And whatever you do, don't miss their hush puppies! I could eat those all night (and several times, I have)!

Pulled Pork Gumbo, wonderful depth of flavor.

The brisket and fried chicken were both excellent. Sauces were great too, covered all the bases for whatever you might be feeling like.

Located literally steps from the brewery, and with handy online ordering, this was a fun option for me and the dude as we watched the 'Hawks stroll to victories over the 49'ers and the Rams. The first game, we enjoyed the B'Ham and Cheese, featuring bacon, ham, cheese, and a toasty rosemary bread. In a word: YUM! Last game, we shared the Jalapeno Popper which was too spicy but in a good way. You know what I mean? Like you can't stop eating because it's too spicy and you have to take a few sips of beer between bites and you immediately crave another sandwich because it was sooooo good? And yet, so spicy? Speaking of beer, these sammies pair well with all of my Stemma faves. The Jalapeno Popper went especially well with Stemma's Mexican Lager, though the dude thought it was equally delish with his hazy IPA. Will we return for the Super Bowl and a grilled cheese trifecta? Time will tell!

Service was quick and nice, and there was tons of seating outside near the food truck. Overall great spot for a nice lunch before going off and exploring Bellingham.

Their menu is really easy to read and understand and they are very friendly and quick. They give you a buzzer you can take with you and go find somewhere to sit which is great. We decided to try the rice noodle soup with beef, potstickers and donuts. The soup was amazing. So much flavor and packed with lots of noodles and beef. You get quite a bit for what you pay for. The potstickers also had lots of flavor and was the perfect texture with just the right amount of crisp. The donuts, oh wow. These are amazing! I would come back just for these alone! They were served hot and drizzled with a perfect amount of sweetened condensed milk, they were so good. The setup includes a couple of food trucks and a covered beer garden with seating. We decided to grab our food to go since the weather wasn't cooperating, but everything still tasted amazing back at our hotel. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, vegetarian fried egg rolls, chicken dumplings, pork Chinese buns, and chicken rice noodle soup. Every dish was flavorful and fresh. The soup in particular had a rich, comforting broth with tender chicken, noodles, and cabbage. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and service was fast. The woman working the truck was friendly and welcoming, even with the wind and rain coming down. We will definitely be back next time we are in Bellingham. If the weather is better, we will stay and eat in the beer garden. This place is a great find.

We were a little peckish when we got back to the parking spot so we checked out the colorful container restaurant Rain or Shine Riviera Club. They had a happy hour starting in 10 minutes so I just ordered up a Sumo Slush ($9) drink to get me through until the happy hour. I also ordered up a frozen mango drink ($7) for my daughter. Both were excellent and made the decision to stay so much easier. I ordered up the Happy Hour Riviera Burger special that comes with a slush and the burger for a good price. I cannot remember how much it was, but the price was so good I got another order. I also ordered up some tots to share. Everything was really good on this rainy rainy day. So it was a little slow customer wise. Which probably made my experience even better. The burgers were picture perfect and the service was really really quick. If I came here on a hoppin sunny weekend I would totally expectto wait a while for my food. If was was rich I would franchise this sucker in Reno because they really have made a great product. And who can say no to Frozé all day!!

If you find yourself anywhere near the Tulip Festival, make sure this spot is on your list…read more During our weekend of tulip sightseeing, Stella Sopra ended up stealing the show. We came for the flowers, but this little food truck parked at Tulip Valley Winery delivered the kind of meal that sticks with you. There's something magical about pairing genuine, well-crafted Italian food with a flight of local wines. Chef Alberto runs the whole operation himself cooking, serving, sharing stories, and making you feel like you've been invited to Sunday lunch at his family's table in Italy. His passion shows in every bite. I've had plenty of eggplant parm over the years, but this one? Best I've ever eaten. Served in a simple plastic container yet unforgettable perfectly balanced sauce pasta cooked just right, and eggplant that was tender and full of flavor. My husband ordered the chicken mushroom ravioli, and I was tempted to sample half of it. Big, pillowy pasta filled with rich, savory goodness an absolute win! We also split a Caesar salad (because veggie balance is important) and ended on a high note with tiramisu. It was airy, creamy, and just espresso kissed enough to keep you going back for another spoonful. We lingered on the patio glass of wine in hand, soaking up the scenery and wondering how a food truck in the middle of tulip country had turned into one of our favorite dining experiences in ages. The Stella Sopra truck travels between Bellingham and Mount Vernon. If you see it parked anywhere don't overthink it. Order whatever catches your eye. You'll definitely leave happy.
