Absolutely the best massage I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming. Ryan was friendly and professional, and he really took the time to ask about my needs and any problem areas. The massage itself was incredible--perfect pressure, intuitive technique, and a level of care you can't teach. Every knot melted away, and I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and genuinely lighter. This wasn't just a massage, it was a full reset. If you're looking for a place that truly knows what they're doing and makes you feel taken care of from start to finish, this is it. I'll absolutely be back and will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Ryan is the best! read more

Ryan is the best! A great guy and an excellent massage therapist! Will definitely go back!

If I could give Ryan 10 stars, I would. I've been getting massages my entire adult life, and I'm so grateful to have found Ryan. I suffer from your typical body tension from work in addition to monthly migraines. With Ryan, my migraines have gotten better, and I just feel lighter and less stressed. He's definitely a healer. I've been going to him now for several years (pre-pandemic!), and his level of service has been consistently phenomenal. If you're looking for a healer, I'd definitely recommend Ryan! read more

AMAZING! Ryan took such good care of me.. I've been looking for a massage therapist since I moved to north Dallas and I finally found one! He takes his time and really focuses on the tight spots, I had a deep tissue and it was extremely therapeutic. The suite is beautiful and very relaxing, can't wait to be back! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Ryan was very pleasant and personable. I reached out prior to scheduling my appointment since it would be my first time, and he was very open and accommodating to my schedule. The office was very warm and inviting. This, combined with Ryan's skillset, made for one of the best massages that I have had! Oh, and the chocolate on the table made for an extra sweet way to end my massage! There is one negative from my experience but will not let it affect my overall rating. The bathroom isn't necessarily close to the office, so I advise coming a few min earlier than you normally might in order to go before getting to his office. read more

Totally professional, high-quality massage by an excellent masseuse with great conversation and relaxing massage. I had been suffering from some serious lower back nerve impingement accompanied by a tightening of the surrounding muscles that left me in a lot of daily pain. I reached out on a Friday evening, made immediate contact with Ryan through text and was able to book a spot for a Sunday appointment. After 45 minutes of the magic touch, I felt so much better. All of the muscles had been relaxed and I felt far less pressure on my spine. The massage location is in a professional luxury high rise office building with front desk security and plenty of parking. If you're feeling the pain, stiffness or tightness from a sports injury, stress or just life in general, you can't go wrong with Master Ryan! read more

I have been to many masseuses only to be disappointed. They cancel on me, or the massage isn't healing enough, and has me walking away thinking, that was a waste of money. When I told Ryan this, he said I just hadn't found anyone that knew what they were doing and that he was confident he could change my mind. Well, he was right! His hands work magic and he know exactly what he is doing. He is professional and listens to what I say about my problem areas and works the kinks out like a good masseuse is supposed to. One time, I messed up in scheduling an appointment with him and ended up going elsewhere to be let down yet again. I will not waste my money anywhere else ever again. I highly recommend Ryan, he is the best! read more

Back and Bodywork Massage - Massage Therapy Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I would leave negative stars if I could. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was told Ryan wasn't in yet. I waited another 15 minutes before he finally arrived. He did not apologize at all for being late and even denied that he wasn't on time. When I arrived at his room I asked him to wear a mask during my appointment and he refused. I told him I was going to leave and that he really should work on his business practices. Ryan told me that was simply my opinion. Well, here is my opinion: avoid at all costs. Thanks a lot for wasting my morning and for the rude attitude. read more

I hadn't had a massage in 4 years or so. Since then, my shoulder has been giving me trouble. I was a little nervous going into the appointment, but quickly realized I was in good hands. The location was easy to find, the suite was quiet and serene. The session was much better than I'd experienced before. I'm planning on booking appointments with Ryan more frequently. read more

Ryan has a gift for getting people out of pain and relieving tension. I had lower back pain for weeks during pregnancy. After one 90 minute session with Ryan, the tension eased significantly. Within 24 hours of the massage, I was totally out of pain. Another time I went in with a tension headache that I'd had for days. After the massage, it was gone. He has an intuitive understanding of the body, so I recommend letting him use whatever technique he sees fit. His massages are very relaxing as he always seems to know how much pressure each area is needing. I highly recommend Back and BodyWork! read more

He did again. Awesome massage and stretch!!! Thank you Ryan. All shoulder and neck pain is relieved.

Ryan is hands down amazing. I moved to TX a year ago and found him on Yelp and fell in love ever since. I had family in town for Thanksgiving and she went to him and fell in love as well. You will leave there feeling like you are floating on clouds. I highly recommend. read more

Ryan gives a FANTASTIC massage! Normally I'm a bit hesitant about having a male masseuse but I'm so glad I listened to the reviews. He's completely professional and high quality. His massage helped my sore and aching muscles and I highly recommend. read more

After searching through reviews, I found Back and Bodywork Massage. Ryan fit me in last minute for a 90 minute session. Initially, my back, shoulders and neck were filled with knots from stress (job related) as well as having water retention (edema) in my legs. When I went in, I told him I wanted Swedish with aroma therapy thinking that would take away my issue.  After being educated on the different types of massages, pressure points, stretches and the benefits..I let him do his thing. The massage is always effective in terms of releasing tension, and getting your knots out afterwards. He is extremely professional, meticulous and I've never felt  uncomfortable. Edema is almost next to gone in part to the messages and diet change. It's been about three months..now I call him Sealy (Posturepedic) because whatever magic he has in his hands will have you rejuvenated and refreshed. read more

Ryan is a very skilled therapeutic massage therapist. I discovered Ryan while researching a good option for my older sister, who i was visiting in Dallas after hip replacement surgery. He is experienced at working with people who have had similar surgeries, and was very careful with her but also helped her tremendously. I also treated myself to a massage, having a running injury and lots of muscle tension. Ryan was amazing; knowledgeable, personable, and professional. My sister has visited him since our first visit and reported feeling fantastic afterward. I look forward to another massage with Ryan the next time i visit my sister in Dallas! read more

I travel for work, so i'm always in and out of planes. Finally one day the pain in my back and shoulder was so bad I just got fed up and started searching on Yelp for some relief. I've never been a fan of chain places as I feel those therapists just come and go as they please. It took me a good 2 hours or so of looking in surrounding areas, reading reviews and then finally I stumbled upon Ryan... I immediately booked an appointment same day after seeing all his 5 star reviews and high recommendations. His suite is located in a business office, so just a heads up you won't be looking for a place that looks like Massage Envy on the outside, but don't let that deter you. Once I stepped into Ryan's suite and explained my issues he got right to work and let me tell you he is nothing less than magical. I've had an issue with my shoulder that keeps me from lifting because it fatigues out and almost double joints out of place. Ryan took extreme care of my shoulder and pin pointed the pain like he was feeling it himself. He knew exactly where to work his magic. What really impressed me was that after my session he pulled out his phone and actually showed me the muscle that was giving me trouble through an anatomy app. It's safe to say that after this point I knew I was with the best. From start to finish Ryan impressed me. POST APPT. UPDATE: After my appointment with Ryan he followed up with me after a few days to see how I was doing. I had time to put in some weight training and for the first time in maybe a year or two I was able to actually finish a chest workout without getting that fatigued feeling in my shoulder and it giving out. It's safe to say that Ryan will be the only therapist I ever see. THANK YOU! read more

Five Stars Plus! I had chronic low-back pain for close to 2 years. Past massages with other practitioners masked, but didn't fully alleviate the problem. Tired of temporary fixes and taking Ibuprofen on a daily basis, I sought to fix the problem once and for all with regular massages. I found Ryan via Yelp. Thank you fellow Yelpers!! I have to agree with the other posters 100%. He is an outstanding professional and displays expert knowledge of the complex muscle system. IMO, this enables him to easily identify the pain triggers and apply the proper technique. Since I've been under Ryan's care, my lower back pain is non-existent for weeks at a time. Whereas before him, it was something I dealt with daily. If you want a results-oriented, professional massage go check him out. You won't regret it. I highly recommend Ryan and am so thankful for finding him. read more

Was referred to Ryan from two other women that I know through CrossFit. I've had some issues with my shoulders and was pretty sure I could just rest and stretch them back to normal. Finally after weeks of little progress I went to go see Ryan. From just a few minutes of fact-finding he was able to target my problem area and eliminate my shoulder pain. I was amazed to see how fast I felt better. I wasn't able to turn a steering wheel or lift much prior to my visit. I only wish I could have seen Ryan sooner! read more

This was an amazing experience! I've been searching for someone who could give the perfect deep tissue massage and voila! Finally! Ryan was able to identify the problem areas and create an immediate intervention and treatment plan. I look forward to coming back. Best massage ever! read more

Ryan is clearly a natural at this. He is not a guy who just went to massage school and learned the stuff; he clearly has an intuitive understanding of how the muscles work, how it all comes together, and how to apply all of that to his massage therapy in a way that actually helps you leave not just feeling better, but actually being better. It makes a tangible difference! I've visited many massage therapists and Ryan stands out of from the crowd. read more

I'm going to start this review with one word... Ah-mazing! I went in for a massage after working 4- 12 hour shifts and I ached from head to toe. After an hour, I felt rejuvenated and as if I had just slept an entire night. Not to mention my posture feels better, the tension in my shoulders and neck have been alleviated, and I feel completely renewed. To parrot what another client stated, it's extremely therapuetic! This is one of those little gems, that you don't quite want everyone to know about for your own selfish reasons, but it would be such a disservice not to give B&BW a glowing review. I'm totally in for the once a month massage of yumminess! read more

Best therapeutic massage Ive ever encountered. My whole body was in such pain and so tight and compressed feeling, that I even felt taller after the massage therapist finished my treatment. I am new to Dallas. After seeing the rave reviews I decided to give Ryan a try, and I was not disappointed! The massage was amazing and Ryan deftly discovered and worked out all of my knots. I had originally scheduled 90 minutes but he did such a great job that I extended the session to two hours. Thanks again Ryan, I dont get massages all the time but you will definitely be getting my future business and referrals. read more

Ryan is the literal best! Greatest massage I've had. He's very professional and has magic hands.

Ryan's a healer. Serious stuff here; I'm in it for the long run for optimal health and flexibility as I get older. I see a whole lot of physically decrepit people...not me! read more

This was the BEST massage I have ever had in my life. I have had massages at some very swanky spas and in various countries. I felt like Ryan was a threefer (masseur, athletic trainer, chriopractor). I was so relaxed afterwards, I went home immediately to take a nap. Also, I really enjoyed the music that played in the background. read more

I had lower back pain. It was so bad, I had to take the day off from work. From a pain scale of 1 to 10, it was definitely a 10!!! I had tried 2 other massage therapists, but the relief was temporary. While researching online, I ran into Back & bodyworks. Best decision I ever made! Ryan was my therapist. The moment I mentioned the problem, he knew exactly what the cause of the problem was. He explaind to me why I felt the pain. After the massage, he also suggested a couple of stretch technics I could do to avoid the problem. I really felt I got my money's worth. Thanks Ryan read more

Ryan is massage god. He was patient when I got a bit lost, and super helpful and explanatory but not over chatty. Loved every second.

Ryan delivered the most thorough and relaxing massage of my life. I'm have chronic back problems and live in constant pain. Ryan was like the muscle knot whisperer; he was able to target trouble areas in my back and relax them away. I will definitely become a regular client! read more

My brother lives in Dallas and upon my most recent visit, I started feeling some tension in my lower back. Not really knowing the area that well, I went to trusty Yelp and found out about this place. Most reviews boasted about Ryan, so I scheduled a massage with him. Again Yelp comes through! I'm still not completely comfortable with seeing a male massage therapist, but Ryan made me feel 100% comfortable and had hands of magic. I felt so much better after my visit with him. I have since recommended his services to my family and friends in the area. Thanks, Back and Bodywork Massage! read more

I've had a membership with a national spa/massage chain for a while. When I encountered the owner of Back and Bodywork Massage, Ryan, he jokingly assured me that I'd been wasting money with those chains lol. So I scheduled an appointment and was immediately amazed! I carry a lot of tension and stress in my back and shoulders, without even knowing, Ryan immediately felt the tension and massaged and stretched me to the point where I finally felt the knots and kinks in that area start to release! This was absolutely the best massage I've ever had, I'll definitely be a repeat customer!! read more

Ryan has an understanding of the human body that is unparalleled among massage therapists. He thinks outside the box, knowing that the site of pain isn't always necessarily the cause. LOOK NO FURTHER...If you want relief, and you want it right now...Ryan Sealy is your man. From the moment he lays hands on you, you will know that he is a master of his profession. I was given the gift of Ryan by someone very special to me, (thank you David;) who recognized I was in serious pain. I am so grateful. The first moment he laid hands on me he touched the exact place I was hurting....turns out I had a rib out of place. Within moments I could breathe, that excruciating pain was gone...I highly recommend Ryan....I've had many massages in my time but words can't express how truly amazing this man is....try him once...you won't ever do another search for massage therapist again because he will be on your speed dial. I have been seeing Ryan for my occupational and athletics aches, pains and tightness for over two years with more to come. I've reviewed him before but every review needs an update in time. Ryan is my go to in times of need and times to relax. He has come to my office to provide his services as a benefit to my employees. I trust this man immensely and his recommendations. Aside from being an all around great individual with strong personal and family values he is incredible at what he does. A must for anyone and everyone. Can't go wrong with Ryan, unless you have a schedule to stick to as he is guaranteed to take the time you require to fix you up! I know I appreciate that, you will too.
