I reached out prior to scheduling my appointment since it would be my first time, and he was very open and accommodating to my schedule. The office was very warm and inviting. This, combined with Ryan's skillset, made for one of the best massages that I have had! Oh, and the chocolate on the table made for an extra sweet way to end my massage! There is one negative from my experience but will not let it affect my overall rating. Totally professional, high-quality massage by an excellent masseuse with great conversation and relaxing massage. I had been suffering from some serious lower back nerve impingement accompanied by a tightening of the surrounding muscles that left me in a lot of daily pain. I would leave negative stars if I could. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was told Ryan wasn't in yet. I waited another 15 minutes before he finally arrived. He did not apologize at all for being late and even denied that he wasn't on time. When I arrived at his room I asked him to wear a mask during my appointment and he refused. Ryan has a gift for getting people out of pain and relieving tension. I had lower back pain for weeks during pregnancy. After one 90 minute session with Ryan, the tension eased significantly. Initially, my back, shoulders and neck were filled with knots from stress (job related) as well as having water retention (edema) in my legs. When I went in, I told him I wanted Swedish with aroma therapy thinking that would take away my issue.  After being educated on the different types of massages, pressure points, stretches and the benefits..I let him do his thing. The massage is always effective in terms of releasing tension, and getting your knots out afterwards. He is extremely professional, meticulous and I've never felt  uncomfortable. Edema is almost next to gone in part to the messages and diet change. He is experienced at working with people who have had similar surgeries, and was very careful with her but also helped her tremendously. I travel for work, so i'm always in and out of planes. Finally one day the pain in my back and shoulder was so bad I just got fed up and started searching on Yelp for some relief. I've never been a fan of chain places as I feel those therapists just come and go as they please. It took me a good 2 hours or so of looking in surrounding areas, reading reviews and then finally I stumbled upon Ryan... I immediately booked an appointment same day after seeing all his 5 star reviews and high recommendations. His suite is located in a business office, so just a heads up you won't be looking for a place that looks like Massage Envy on the outside, but don't let that deter you. Once I stepped into Ryan's suite and explained my issues he got right to work and let me tell you he is nothing less than magical. I've had an issue with my shoulder that keeps me from lifting because it fatigues out and almost double joints out of place. Ryan took extreme care of my shoulder and pin pointed the pain like he was feeling it himself. He knew exactly where to work his magic. What really impressed me was that after my session he pulled out his phone and actually showed me the muscle that was giving me trouble through an anatomy app. It's safe to say that after this point I knew I was with the best. From start to finish Ryan impressed me. POST APPT. UPDATE: After my appointment with Ryan he followed up with me after a few days to see how I was doing. I had time to put in some weight training and for the first time in maybe a year or two I was able to actually finish a chest workout without getting that fatigued feeling in my shoulder and it giving out.
