Also loved the fried chicken and hoecakes. Amazing. The drinks had a bit of variation between bartenders. They were all good though, so no complaints. It's a little bit outside of the "party" area of town but still walkable and completely worth it!! We ate at quite a few places and this was the stand out.

After that, they were very mealy...you know how those taste. So very disappointed after hearing good things about this place. We won't be back here. Plenty of other places to eat in SA. Restaurants are crying the blues about costs, but don't seem to care much about quality any longer. I don't know about you, but until these establishments can show me they care about customers and quality, I'm going to be cautious about spending my money on a lunch costing $70. You?

My Goulash was very flavor and dipping the bread in the broth was great. I will say it was thinner then other Goulash's I have had. This was more of a broth base where I enjoy a bit of a thicker stew type. Still something I would recommend getting especially with the limited option we have in the area and this will hit the spot. Ashley also did get a order of Blackberry Pierogies that I never got to try since she ran off with it after we got back to where we were staying. This is for sure a great family restaurant you have to check out.

We then asked if we could at least sit at the bar and eat there, but she said the bar was only for people waiting and no food would be served there. What makes this even more frustrating is that when you drive by, there is nothing indicating reservations are required. We discovered the restaurant while passing through the area and were excited to try it. The flavors may be unique, but the attitude felt unnecessarily pretentious for a restaurant that should make more of an effort to accommodate walk ins, especially when the dining room was empty.

Finish the meal with a cup of coffee. The waitress name was Victoria and she was terrific and the place is very warm and friendly.

The plates and silverware were replaced with cardboard plates/trays and plastic cutlery. Although the food was good, the presentation was disappointing. Our waitress did a good job, so kudos to her! $120+ before a tip - a couple more chips would have been nice, and real plates and silver would have been amazing.....just saying.
