I went here to try the cold brew iced coffee...and it was very watered down, literally I watched them add water to the cup. I make my own cold brew at home and it's so easy, but I like to try other places cold brew. I stopped here for a Cuban Coffee as I was finishing a bike ride. It hit the spot. They're also very cycler-friendly, and I had three requests to fill my water bottle while I was there. They've got some pretty cool stuff, and the wine selection looked good, but it's hard to carry on a bike ride. Stop in whether or not you're on a bike, because they're very accommodating. read more

Im an actual coffee addict and I need coffee and Babys is the drug I crave more than any other. This is the worlds best (American) coffee my fav being the Breakfast Roast. I don't go to the coffee shop/retail store to get a cup of coffee and hand out, actually Im not that huge a fan of the store itself, but my God is the coffee good. I go there to buy in bulk and usually go away with at least ten pounds, not all for me, I give a few as gifts to people whom I love. I like what they have going on here...but the café con leche was watery and lacked flavor. The service was indifferent.I would return to try a straight up black coffee. The beer cooler was well stocked with craft beer and the freshly roasted coffee was packaged for sale. Love that they do what they do with pride, thus the three stars. We have been coming to Baby's every time we are in Key West. It's a nice 15 mile bike ride on the Keys bike way, and it's the stop of choice for coffee both coming and going by car. They have lots of gluten free baked goods too. We love you Baby's!!! read more

I am in love with Baby's Coffee, for many different reasons! Of course, their coffee is excellent and their drinks are very well-made. The baristas definitely know what they're doing- you won't find burnt lattes here. They carry a wide variety of various baked goodies- both from local businesses as well as harder to find European brands. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel like a regular from your first visit. Unfortunately, I had to return to my home in the rainy Pacific Northwest and leave Baby's behind. Just one more reason to hurry back to the lovely Florida Keys. read more

Baby's is a MUST STOP when traveling to or from Key West. They make wonderful coffee, have a shop full of treats and food (it's a mini grocery store) and they also have many repair items for cyclists which is pretty freaking awesome! read more

We make sure to stop at Baby's every time we come to the keys. The coffee is roasted either on site or in Louisiana at their other location. I've tried a few of their blends and am always pleased. The artwork inside the store is delightful and the service is fast and friendly. There is not very much space to hang around, it's not that kind of shop I guess. The small shop has a few racks of gifts and other food (we tried the hot chocolate bars) and a few sandwiches and key lime pie of course. The bagged coffee does not have a date, but that's not always necessary. Tasting the brewed coffee and given how busy they are, you know they aren't serving anything stale here. read more

Any time I'm by Baby's Coffee I stop in for a frozen latte. In the morning they have bacon and mozzarella on a bagel which is the bomb. The staff are always friendly and a treat to talk to. In the afternoons they serve pizza which is really great as well. You can stop by and pick up special wines and beer and snacks. They have lots of Baby's Coffee swag to purchase as well. We have been drinking Baby's coffee for over 6 years. My mom loves the breakfast blend and usually spends over $200 to stock up on it for the year. It's delicious at home especially in our Ninja coffee maker. It's NOT weak coffee - it's perfect. There are different roasts and blends you can get ground up fresh. Other reviews saying "it's just weak" most likely needed to purchase a stronger blend. I just made my fresh ice coffee with the breakfast blend and it's delicious. I have driven by this place hundreds of times on the way in and out of Key West. I finally decided to stop in Monday morning before a long drive in lots of traffic back to Miami. What a great decision! Don't let the exterior fool you. From the outside you might think it's an old bait and tackle shop. Open the door and you will smell delicious fresh roasted coffee, good for you fresh made muffins and other goodies. A nice wine selection and even micro brewed beers. The locals dig it. You will too.
