For a Thursday night the place was packed to the point where I'm thinking, "Do I want to be here?" This is, after all, not really my kind of place. It's hot, hard to move around, and I'm looking for the stage which is more or less straight in from the entrance whereas I end up going to the right. Being a little early, and on the list, I waited at the rope after finally making it to the right place for the doors to officially open. If you are looking for a seat in here, you need to literally be first in line since there are a total of two barstools in the room at the bar. I was there to see Ben Katzman's DeGreaser with Ben Wade as a special guest. They put on a hell of a show and with it being a tight venue they rocked the place like they owned it. I was really glad I made the detour into Brooklyn to make this happen in the end and I would not even consider myself a fan of his genre though it did bring back some memories of Quiet Riot back in the day! As for food, I can't comment as I did not have anything here. Just a beer and an awesome show.

I really wanted to like Baby's All Right, but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. First off, it's a very white club in Williamsburg, and while the space itself is pretty big, the experience just wasn't worth it. The tickets were expensive, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning wasn't working, so the whole place felt like a sweaty mess. On the plus side, parking was super easy to find, which was a nice surprise for Williamsburg. But once inside, it got so packed because they clearly oversell tickets. It's hard to enjoy yourself when you're shoulder-to-shoulder with people, and let's just say deodorant wasn't a priority for a lot of them. The music didn't save the night either--it was pretty underwhelming and not worth the price or the long commute. If you're looking for a fun night out, there are definitely better spots to check out. This one felt like a letdown.

Came here for a concert And it was amazing! I didn't order any food there but did have an old fashion that was very good. I'd love to try the food next time.

From the wallpaper to the clientele, this place swarms of ugly millennial. The ceilings look like an off brand Vista Cruiser while the bathroom walls look like dry molded tufting. Truly I've never seen such an ugly establishment... in terms of the interior design, and unfortunately, the people that populate this hell hole. If you want to spend $10 on a $3 cider and then dance with some Wisconsin trolls, this is your place. Otherwise, save your money and your time. This is my only Yelp review.

I came to Baby's with a friend for the Harriette concert. We decided to sit and have a drink and get dinner there before the show. The espresso martinis were alright. I would highly recommend the nachos. We also split the chorizo burrito and it was okay. As a music venue, it is super great. The drinks are reasonably priced and there was plenty of standing room.

2 days ago I went to babys all right for jean deaux concert, my issue isn't with the venue, the atmosphere is cool and the security is always nice, its with a particular middle aged grey haired bartender named Jeff that made me the worst Mai Tai I have ever tasted- it was like a conglomerate of bad liquor that tasted like diet vomit. I went back to the bar and asked this man for a whiskey ginger- he made it then said $12.00 and I said I already brought this mai tai from you it was $14.00 and I don't like it- he verbatim said "its not my fault your ordered something you don't like" as if he wasn't the one that just made my drink. He took the whiskey gingerale back threw it away (illogical- just wasted more liquor & my patience). I was PISSED spoke to the manager and he made it right by making me a whiskey ginger. I'm upset that I even tipped the bartender.

Visited Baby's All Right for brunch on a Sunday. Their bottomless brunch deal is pretty good, you get an entree and unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, and greyhounds for $38.99. It's a bit dim in the restaurant, unless you're seated near the big bay windows. Pretty homely, you can tell this place is more a music venue than restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. We never felt rushed to leave. For my entree, I got the biscuits and gravy. It was a cheddar and jalapeno biscuit, smothered in sausage gravy, and topped with an easy sunny side egg. It was a hearty meal, but a bit saltier than I would have liked. The atmosphere and food aren't really anything to go out of the way for, but it's not bad overall.

I visited this place for the first time for a freddie dredd concert and I gotta say, the staff handled it very well. Venue is all the way in the back of the restaurant and was surprisingly very very small. Kind of like a larger classroom kind of size with the capacity of 280 people. As a person who's done parties before, I feel for the bouncer, especially because on that cold night he was taking his job very well. Gave very straight rules and as long as you followed them and respected him, you were all right. The ladies at the bar was very well settled too, even with all the wildness going on, much love to them and I hope they're doing well. At the end with how hot and packed the concert was, the fire alarm went off and it was handled very well and professionally. Good job Baby's, I might go back to try some food one day.

Ask the Community - Baby's All Right

Are there seats in the live music section?

I believe there were a few by the bar in the back, but other than that, I don't believe so

Are tickets generally available at the door, and if so, are they cheaper than buying online?

Tickets are sometimes sold at the door if the event isn't sold out online, but if they are sold at the door it is typically at an up-charge rate.

If I bought tickets for some friends and I to go to an 18+ show do we all need our ID'S or just me?

Everyone gets carded at the door, even if you're just popping in for a bite to eat

Is there a coat check here (for concerts)?

    Nope

The Bitter End opened in 1961 and was a launching pad for performers who later became major stars. I started following The Curtis Family when we were all locked down in 2020. Now in 2026, the family band hit the road and one of the stops on tour was The Bitter End. As with any of these small venues, they have a two drink minimum. Once my wife & I were seated, we ordered a few cocktails and settled in. The stage was large enough to have the (7) members of the band and they had two keyboards! The sound system was great and the drinks were strong. The seating, even though I was able to be in front, it was tight seating. It was a little too close for comfort. The unassuming outside hides a tremendously cool inside. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly by Dinara (sp?) who was effortlessly cool in her own right. A young lady ( whose name I didn't catch) promptly seated us. It's not a huge space, but we didn't feel cramped. There was a bar up front, tables along the side walls and a stage in the back. Apparently they have live music nights and open mic nights too. When we went there was 80s/90s music playing and it was very cool. The decor is unapologetically Black and I love it! The restroom is clean and contemporary. The service staff is amazing and attentive. They gave us cornbread with berry butter. Very tasty! My only complaint is that they could have given us each a piece instead of giving us one piece cut into 2. Lol! But it was free! And if that's the "worst" part of the experience then you know it was an overall good time! I was wavering between whether or not to get the collard greens and asked if they were sweet or bitter or spicy. Our server went and got a small sample for me to try because it was hard to describe. I was grateful for her willingness to let me try them. By the way I did order them and they are more savory than any of the above. It's a gentle savory flavor. I also got rice and beans and teriyaki salmon. The beans weren't exactly what I expected. They were black beans which I don't typically associate with soul food. They weren't bad although next time I think I'll get potatoes. My dining companion got lamb chops and collard greens and mac and cheese. She loved everything and at it right up! The food presentation, flavor, and portion size were all good. I didn't leave feeling overstuffed but I was satisfied. The servers checked in on us an appropriate amount of times (we didn't feel rushed or under surveillance but they made sure we had what we needed). The manager/owner stopped by to make sure everything was good and chatted with us. All around good vibes & good eats--I would go again. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Valerie Simpson, and your late husband; Nickolas Ashford, for creating this amazing venue. The guest host for the evening was the incredibly talented Olutayo. Olutayo is joy exemplified. His vocal range, dance moves, entertaining facial expressions...infectious. I fell in love with this man and did not hesitate to tell him so. Beyond his talents was Olu's ability to manage / juggle the night's open-mic entertainers with such grace. From the lyrics of En Vogue and Salt-N-Peppa: "Whatta Man, Whatta Man, What a Mighty Good Man!" All of the entertainers were incredible. What a range of singers, dancers, a poet, a violinist. And the band! The band! The band! Come on!! Outstanding. I was seated next to Darius, one of the several background vocalists that were positioned throughout the lounge. We became fast friends in this space filled with exuberance. Darius was a delight. He was also a big brother to me, making sure no one blocked my view of the performance. Thank you, Darius, that was so kind of you. I had such a wonderful time being in the company of all these amazingly talented people. It was a 6-hour dopamine rush that should not be missed. The dinner that was served was top-notch. I had the Sea Bass. My friend had the Golden Fried Chicken. Both meals were delicious. I had the ginger mocktail with rosemary and blueberries - so yummy I had two. Dessert was key lime pie - suffer we will. Our server; Vickie, was a delight and amazing to observe as she maneuvered around the performers and kept us and everyone around us well served and continually hydrated. Vickie is to be commended for how hard she worked throughout the evening. I made sure our tip reflected our appreciation of her. Put the Sugar Bar on your bucket list when visiting NYC. I had to email afterward just to learn that my "behavior and demeanor" had supposedly made people uncomfortable. Nobody ever told me specifically what I had done wrong, what boundary I had crossed, or gave me an opportunity to correct anything. I'm a human being, not furniture. If staff had simply communicated with me, I would have listened and complied. For context, I was not harassing people. I was a social regular who enjoyed friendly conversations, and if someone didn't want to interact, I respected that and gave them space. If staff wanted me to change something about my behavior, they could have simply told me. I would have listened and adjusted. I also have concerns about whether my race, sex, and height affected how I was perceived and treated. After months of follow-ups and back and fourth, management finally confirmed that I'm still not permitted on site. Great concept, but the way this was handled showed a serious lack of communication and people skills. One star. Wonderville has now publicly alleged, which they did not tell me in the emails, that I followed people around, made "unwanted advances," and engaged in "predatory behavior." I categorically dispute that allegation. I did not follow people around the venue. Wonderville is a small arcade bar, and naturally you will cross paths with the same people repeatedly. Running into someone again is not the same as following them. If I sometimes approached people socially and someone wasn't receptive, I gave them space, usually immediately. Their response says they received reports from multiple people, but no one ever confronted me about these allegations before banning me. They also claim I "have not reflected at all," even though they never disclosed these more serious allegations during the months they told me to reflect. I only learned about them through their public response to this review. I have the original emails showing they only told me my "behavior and demeanor" made people uncomfortable, so their claim that they had already explained these allegations to me is contradicted by their own emails. Presenting disputed reports as established behavior is serious. Given that these accusations only appeared publicly after I criticized how this was handled, it comes across to me as lashing out. Just a very hostile space. Be careful there.
