I would give them more than five stars if could. I could go on and on about why I love this place. It is a little hole in the wall and I love that about it. I ordered a dinner portion of the hummus and falafel, not really sure what to expect. I just figured I would stick with something simple. I was served a very large plate of delicious hummus topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, olive oil, and falafels. They also brought out pita bread and tzatziki sauce. I'm not one to eat many gluten containing products but this pita bread was calling my name. It was warm and fluffy....I had to have some. I practically ate the left over hummus with a spoon after eating my falafels and pita bread. And the tzatziki sauce was simply amazing. It was a perfect combo of all the Flavors. The best gyro I have ever had! They also have a great Greek salad - huge. For dinner I get the chicken kabob plate. All of their portions are huge. They keep the tzatziki sauce in the refrigerator so it is always nice and chilled. They also keep the tables very clean which I like. Terrific place for a meal. read more

Who would think in the middle of the Bluegrass some good Greek food, I had the Gyro Dinner. The Greek salad it comes with was fresh with lettuce ,cucumbers red onions feta and a whole hot pepper. Covered with a balsamic vinegar dressing. Very tasty. The Gyro was loaded with meat and had tomatoes and onions served with a warm pita. Also served with yellow rice. The best part is the cucumber sauce. They give you your own bottle during the meal. It's so addictive in a good way. Fresh and tasty. I really like this place. Food is great! Always fast and fresh. Loss of 2 stars is due to the abusive owner who spent my entire visit cursing his employee loudly for taking an order that he apparently didn't approve of. Yumm! This is someplace I go where the servings are huge, yet I still want more when I'm done. It's absolutely great. I've been wanting to try Babylon and found myself nearby today. It's rather an unattractive place, but I hoped the food would make up for the visual. The menu is limited. Some regulars to the restaurant invited me to sit with them since we were the only customers. I ordered a falafel sandwich with salad, as opposed to fries. I did, however, taste the fries as my dining companions insisted I try them. They were good, as fries go, but I was glad that I ordered the salad which was fresh and crisp with lots of the typical goodies of such a salad. The falafel were excellent. Solomon, the owner, is from Jordan, and he joined us in conversation as he was well acquainted with my table mates. He asked where I eat Middle Eastern food in Lexington, and we compared notes on our restaurants. Solomon use to have another location with a buffet, but now only uses the location for his catering business. He said he loves to cook and the creative process of it, something we have in common. read more

Only complaint is the only have tzatziki sauce, not the yummy garlic filled white dip I've had at other places. Asked for garlic, got tzatziki. It's a bit weird inside as well. Stopped in for a quick lunch during our travels. Being from Chicago, I have had my share of gyros. These were some of the best I have ever had. The meat had awesome flavors and the pita was very fresh. Since we were eating there, they brought the tzatziki sauce to the table ice cold which allowed us to dress our gyros. I hate when they come drowned in it. I went with the lunch special which came with rice and a salad. The rice was tasty and the salad was a nice size and deessed right.
