Mr. Kabob is a very good fast casual restaurant, we enjoyed our meal here immensely. I had the shawarma chicken and lamb, next time I'll just get the lamb, it's difficult to keep chicken very moist if it's not freshly grilled. The salad was terribly soggy and you could see that it was just made in a large batch and left to sit for more than a day quite frankly. This is middle eastern food for those who've never had authentic middle eastern food. Sure, the portions are large, but definitely not worthwhile. The interior was outdated and not very clean (the tables weren't properly cleaned and the floor was dirty). The artisan clothing and decorations were nice - it's unfortunate that the food does not hold up though. Service was fine, nothing substantial, they did forget our order of fries twice and by the time we revived them we were done with our meal (the fries were greasy and poorly seasoned, not fresh at all). read more

Fun little hidden gem in Lex. I was visiting a girlfriend and got to visit this little spot. It's a smaller place on the outside, but there is a decent amount of room in the inside to sit and eat. It was relatively busy which seemed like a good sign to me. I got the chicken kabob lunch option for $10.59. Totally fair price for the amount of food that I got.
