Scott at Baby Proof Pool Safety Systems and his team are excellent. They communicated well and delivered a fabulous product as promised. No frills. We looked at every system available and the baby proof system was the clear winner. It's sleek, easy to take on and off and made with quality materials. Most importantly it is safe for our child. Thanks again Scott.

UPDATE: After our girls became strong swimmers, we packed the net into storage. 8 years later and we've had another baby and have had to pull the net back out and it's still fits. There were a few holes in it but Scott had his team come out to repair them and it is as good a new!! Fantastic customer service all these years later. Highly recommend!!

We have two toddlers so desperately needed to secure our pool. We had an urgent need for the pool of our new home to be secured before we moved in and Scott came to the rescue. He measured out our pool on google maps and arrived a day before our move to install the pool cover. After installation, we needed help getting the tension right and Scott was incredibly helpful and came out right away. Honestly, it was user error on our part but Scott was gracious about coming over and educating us. We love this net system because we have piece of mind that our very active toddlers can't get through, under or over it like other systems we looked at. It also isn't an eyesore in our garden.

We were not too excited about putting up a fence around our pool, and even heard horror Stories of them failing. We gave Scott a call and had a great discussion about his product, materials, quality, functionality and longevity of the safety system. After researching prices, he not only had the best product, but his prices were better than what we had expected. His crew came in within a few business days and finished that same day. The system looks great, and we feel so much more at ease knowing that our children are secure and free to play outside without a concern of any pool related injuries. We highly recommend this. We even purchased the leaf guard system to help keep the waters clean. Thank you for the awesome safety net and cover, and taking the time to show us how it easily can be taken off and put back on.

I cannot recommend them enough! We moved into a home with a unique waterfall feature and immediately contacted them to help us baby proof our yard. With three young children this was our first priority. Even though our job was the "hardest pool they've ever done" due to the unique waterfall feature, they made it happen for us and we are so thankful. The customer service, communication and service provided was very very good. Thank you!

Scott has installed pool nets at two of our houses and we absolutely love and trust the solution. The net we have on our current pool has been used for 9 years - very durable and great longevity. The nets are low profile, strong, and easy to install and remove. We have a smaller net over the basin of our waterfall which is an example of how dynamic the product is. The solution has been great for our standard and non-standard pool shapes. Since installing, the net has "caught" two visiting toddlers at our current house! We get lots of great comments from friends and visitors regarding the look and strength of the net solution. I highly recommend Scott and Juan - the solution is very effective and their customer care is outstanding.

Ask the Community - Baby Proof Pool Safety Systems

Hi, we are looking to get pool fence installed at our house. We are looking for a fence which is not too tall (may be around 2 feet), easily removable. Could you pls give me some idea of pricing and what material options you have? Varun

I'm sorry, we only specialize in safety net covers. However we realize some may decide on a fence vs…

If a toddler walked onto it, wouldn't his feet would go through the netting? How likely is he to get tangled up?

The squares of the net are 3.5" x 3.5". So purposely a child's head cannot fit through the openings. If they fall down on the net, it is possible that their arms or legs might pass through the netting. Even if they get wet, more importantly, they…

I didn't realize until after he left that although he works quickly, his work is very sloppy installing latches. The latches installed under our sink are too long, so that they bump into the sink so that the cabinet doesn't close fully. The clips installed in drawers were awry, so that some of the clips now go under the latching screw so that the drawer is not latched and doesn't close all the way, and two of the clips have snapped off. Another latch was installed crooked so that it rubs against a cabinet door. We didn't have him back for a second visit to finish the work, since we didn't want a second bill of comparable size. I'll have to find some time to finish the incomplete work and fix the broken latches.

Exploring his climbing skills on your fight of stairs? Call The Childproofer. It will set you back a good chunk of cash, but if we had to install everything The Childproofer did in about 2+ hours, it would have taken us the entire weekend - time we do not have with, you know, a baby. You might assume that The Childproofer tries to sell you a bunch of crap you don't really need, but on the contrary, I found I was probably talked off the ledge a couple of times instead about the dangers of this or that. With three kids of his own and 23 years of professional experience under his belt, he is a realist - just what you need - not your crazy mom (I love you, Mom). The Childproofer was also willing to return to my house not once, but twice, to install something he didn't have the first time, and the second time, to exchange that thing for a different size. His hours are crazy - available from 7 am to 7 pm, I believe. Thank you, Childproofer! P.S. His wife is their front office, and she is a doll who put up with many phone calls from this first-time mom...God bless her.

We've had over 35 visit with them! After working with several different types of handymen and task helpers over the years, we found Honey Homes and have been blown away by how much home maintenance, support and improvement can be accomplished when working with a dedicated caring handyman and accompanying scheduler and project management tool that really helps keep things going and best yet, our caring handyman has really always gone above and beyond to help us with countless projects now to make things better for our home, garden and our lives. Honey Homes paired us with a dedicated handyman who is Jason and he is the best. He was just here to install new windows after we worked with a company for siding that left behind cracks in ours, and they look great. What I really love is how simple Honey Homes is. I just add tasks to my list in their app, pick a time, and Jason handles it all...like measuring, ordering and getting that window and installing it with attention to detail, looking amazing. He has also helped us fix and get our garden irrigation working again, patch cracks, help build bigger pieces of furniture and fix a leaky garden hose! We started using Honey Homes because we wanted help getting our dryer de-linted and do a repair here or there and now Honey Homes has become like a part of the family, helping us improve, repair and maintain our 30+ year home and garden year round. Cannot be more grateful to Honey Homes and Jason, who has become like a part of the family. No more endless phone calls or chasing people down for little repairs. If you want to tackle some projects and give it a try, they gave me 5 trial passes to share. It's a planning visit + 1.5-hour handyman visit: https://honeyh.me/4GWq/trial

To do one job, they quoted between 3.5-6.5 hours after the walkthrough where they took photos. It took 6 visits (one double) for a total of 12.25 hours. Not only that, we had to finish the priming ourselves because it was not completed before the scheduled painting session. And if the final result was great, I might understand being a little off the mark but still doesn't make sense to be off by almost 9 hours over the low end and 6 hours over the high end of the estimate, and that's not including the time we worked on it ourselves, But even if they had gotten closer to the estimated time, the quality of the finished work is disappointing. When I reached out to let them know I was unhappy with their service, all they did was add another person to work at the same time to finish painting but they said they couldn't work on it at the same time. So they did a quick job of nailing up precut spacers and pre-cut, pre-painted trim around a patio door but they just managed to nail things up and didn't cover the nail/screw holes and caulk the edges like they agreed to during their one-hour-45-minute session. On the plus side, all of the workers are pleasant. Overall, the experiences have been disappointing for these 7 sessions (8 if you count the extra one they threw in after I complained). Cannot recommend.

Finally, the door arrived. The next day I was down at Paintmaster's office to get my door stained the exact tint and color I wanted. With the help of a painter, I described the color, he showed me some examples, and he made the exact (I mean that, no compromise or settling) door I wanted to spend my money on. What stood out most was how honest they were about pricing. No upselling, no surprise charges, no nickel-and-diming -- just fair, transparent pricing for quality work. In a world where so many transactions feel rushed and impersonal, it was refreshing to work with a small business owner who actually cares about doing the job right.
