I've been using the service for two years now and have loved every moment. Even during the pandemic, they were still delivering our diapers regularly and making sure that our butts were covered. We've never had any rashes or infections using the service as they're always extremely clean. Our son suddenly decided at 2 years old that he wanted to use the potty and it has been such an easy transition from cloth to toilet. Our driver, Jesus, has always been extremely polite and a pleasure to speak with. I've also chatted with Carolyn several times and she's always polite and helps settle my nerves when I feel like I am not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I cannot express how highly I recommend this service to all parents who want to do cloth diapering. I know that we've reduced the amount of diapers going into landfills and that our baby's bottom has never touched any questionable chemicals. Thank you thank you! read more

I love BDS--management is responsive, our driver is a lovely person, and I can get diapers delivered AND taken away that won't create more poopy plastic garbage that will never decompose in the landfill. Cloth diapering was easy enough, but now they provide (and pick up) industrially-composted diapers, it's the best of both worlds. If I have another baby I will be engaging BDS again, there's no other way I'd consider diapering. read more

Baby Diaper Service provided reliable, quality, and friendly service to us every week for the first 2.5 years of our son's life (now potty trained!). Communication from Carolyn was always timely and informative. Diaper pickup/dropoff by Chris was always on time and he even rang the bell a few times to remind us to bring the dirty diapers out when we forgot. The service provided by this small company was great and they made it easy to choose a sustainable option over disposable diapers. Highly recommend! read more

We love Baby Diaper Service! From the first pandemic Winter zoom meeting to teach us all about cloth diapering, to our last pick up from Chris, we have felt so well informed & provided for as we diapered our little one! Carolyn and her team are so smart, kind, professional and efficient. We started with them as they were in their old location with cloth diapers, and continued through the move and the switch to compostable disposables! Through the years they helped us navigate growth spurts, travel plans - you name it. At a time when most disposable diapers take 500 years to decompose, it's amazing to have a local business that can help us both handle a basic baby need while not adding to the landfills. This is a great company! read more

We had a great experience with Baby Diaper Service. With our first child, we used cloth diapers and stayed with them when they switched over to compostable diapers. Customer service is impeccable- delivery/pick-up is always on time, quick response via email, and always so helpful. We were grateful to have an alternative to standard disposable diapers. Would highly recommend them for any of your needs! read more

It has been an amazing journey with Baby Diaper Service and I couldn't recommend them enough. They have gotten us through two kiddos with sustainable, environmentally friendly, effective, and easy diapering options from newborn to potty trained. I'll never forget being very pregnant with our first and going to the free training class and feeling confident that our parenting goals could actually meet our budget, values, and lifestyle. I would like to thank you all for the professionalism, notable customer service, kindness, and commitment. The entire team is exceptional and I have and will continue to repeat that to others. You won't regret it! read more

Baby Diaper Service has been a wonderful partner in the first 2 years of our parenting journey. Not only have they never missed a delivery, but they are quick to respond with any and every question we've had as we learned the cloth diaper ropes. Highly recommend! read more

Really excellent service for cloth diapering. As far as spending money to buy yourself additional time, there aren't many options better than this. The diapers are high-quality, deliveries are consistent, and customer service is top-notch. Great all-around company! read more

Everuthing is in the details and this company doesn't miss a beat.. I can't say enough good things about this company. Top notch service and customer service. So friendly, patient and kind. This is what a good company looks like and a lot of others canearm a lot from how this one is ran. I'm so glad i found them. I have been with this company for 10 months and they have been so helpful went step off the way while maintaining patience and kindness. read more

I've used Baby Diaper Service for 6 months now and it has been excellent! It made my transition into parenthood so much easier while still knowing my baby was comfortable in cloth and protected from chemicals. It allowed me to give more of my time to my baby without feeling guilty about adding hundreds of disposables to a landfill. Cloth diapers are just so cute on babies too! One piece of advice for new or soon to be new parents though is to NOT use a Snappi with the newborn yellow trim prefolds. The claws go right through the thin fabric and rub against baby's skin. I learned this the hard way . I've heard Boingos work better but I never tried them... I just ended up going without a fastener. Carolyn and the staff at BDS go above and beyond to ensure their clients are happy and their needs are met. Thank you so much, BDS! read more

This is such a wonderful, local company. We originally started with cloth diapering but then moved to Nest diapers when the service change. We always received prompt responses and the driver who delivered/picked-up diapers was also so personable and even took time to knock on the door to ask for the diapers when we forgot to leave them out. A really friendly company AND good for the environment! read more

Baby Diaper Service provided such excellent care to us when having our first baby. They were always so available, knowledgeable, helpful, and such a pleasure to work with. They really became an extended part of our family and we're so grateful to have worked with them!! read more

BDS has been so great with serving our little ones diaper needs. We have used them since day one and they have been there the whole way. From the day we brought her home and already having a supply of cloth diapers ready to still getting diapers through 2 snow seasons and now the COVID-19 stay at home recommendations. Not having to go out in those conditions takes a lot of stress off our plates as busy parents. They also supply other needed items like covers, swim diapers, and snappies. Also, they offer free classes on how to properly diaper your baby. If you're looking for a cloth diaper service in the greater Seattle area, I highly recommend this service. Their customer service goes the extra mile from the office to our wonderful driver Don, they have never missed a beat. read more

We love the staff. Carolyn emails and calls us prior to our delivery to confirm the kind of diapers we want. Our driver, Chris, is timely and kind. We are happy with the service. read more

I used BDS for both my boys, now 3.5 years old and 9 months old. I can't say enough great things about this company. Not only are they local, but they are reliable with their deliveries and have impeccable customer service. It sounds weird to say, but I actually enjoyed interacting with Carolyn and the other staff at BDS who were always so resourceful and willing to help me make diaper delivery work for me. I ultimately used their service for 12 months with my first boy and 7.5 months for my second, and am so thankful to them for making it easy for me to tread a little lighter on the environment. I can't recommend them highly enough. Get yourself some Thirsties Duo Wrap diaper covers and an account with BDS and you won't be disappointed! read more

Clean, friendly and reliable. They took us from birth to potty training. I cannot recommend them enough!

A friend clued us into Baby Diaper Service when we were pregnant -- they used for both of their kids and made it seem easy. And they were right! BDS has been great to work with. Their customer service is above and beyond what you expect in today's faceless consumer society. Most of my interactions (via email) have been with Carolyn and she seriously goes above and beyond anything you would expect of a business owner. She replies to emails promptly and with obvious concern and compassion for her customers. We've been using BDS for six months (since our daughter was born) and have been *very* pleased with the service we've received. We've changed sizes and number of diapers with ease. We put a hold on our deliveries while out of state with no problem. Any issue that has arisen has been met with promptly with friendliness. I highly recommend BDS to anyone who is interested in cloth diapering but doesn't want to deal with washing poopy diapers. :) read more

We LOVE baby diaper service! We've used them for almost 4 years, with 2 babies now. They have never missed a delivery day! Not for snow, holidays, or any other reason. They are also very responsive and friendly when I need to contact them. I am so glad we did cloth diapers and used them! (I did disposables with my first, because I didn't realize this was an option). read more

I switched to Baby Diaper Service after having a bad experience with Diaper Stork, and I couldn't be happier. Within 24 hours of writing them about switching, the owner was more than happy to come to my home and help me figure out how to use the cloth diapers as a new mom. She spent a good hour with me, ensuring I felt comfortable with the process. They are comparably priced to Diaper Stork, and more accommodating, in my experience. Had they not helped me, I would have stopped using cloth diapers, which was very important to me as a parent. Go with Baby Diaper Service, all the way. read more

We HIGHLY recommend Baby Diaper Service!! The staff, product and experience overall has been wonderful. Our son has not had one diaper rash and we are convinced this is due to the cloth vs disposable diapers. If you debating whether or not to trial the service, consider the following: in December 2021 our we had over 13" of snow. Our garbage service, Murray's Disposal, claimed the conditions didn't allow their company to service our neighborhood for three weeks! Enter Baby Diaper Service to the rescue: our driver did not miss one pickup/delivery! Not only did our driver trek out to the country as we are a bit remote, but he parked at the top of our road, hiked down our long gravel driveway and all with a genuine smile! I can't imagine the extra garbage we would've had to store if we were using disposable diapers during that time. THANK YOU to an incredible small business!! read more

This small business is AMAZING! We can't say enough positive things about their service. If you are trying to decide if cloth diapering is for you, look no further. Their communication is excellent & prompt anytime we had questions. It was so easy to be able to just throw the dirty diaper in the hamper & have them renew with fresh ones each week. BDS went above and beyond when I forgot to set out my diapers, and kindly scheduled the driver to swing by on a different day to remedy my mom-brain mistake. I love how earth conscious this company is, and our baby never had to deal with diaper rash/skin irritations since cloth diapers are so pure on their new skin. If you're contemplating a cloth diapering service, you won't be disappointed! There are a million excellent reasons to support Baby Diaper Service! read more

Great sustainable cloth diaper service, the only one we've found that services Puyallup area. Even during a snow storm, they delivered when waste services didn't. Offer lots of great education, and the owner, Carolyn, is very responsive by phone or email to solve all problems. Recommended! read more

I am REALLY going to miss this service and the folks that operate it. Emelia has been super helpful through the whole process and we couldn't have been happier with the service. There is just something wonderful about getting cotton prefolds delivered to your door especially with a newborn. Our son never had a rash with their diapers which are superbly maintained. Our family paid for a few months of service and it was the best! I cannot imagine having to cloth diaper without a service for at least the first few months, if not more. I knew, without question, that I was not going to use disposables and was very happy to have found not only a great service but also great customer service. We are going on our own now with cloth diapering at home but I am really grateful that we had the service from the start. In fact, we have decided to use their retired prefolds for diapering at home, as well as buying one of their awesome pails. An incredible deal! I will recommend their service to any of my friends considering cloth diapering. Its the only way to go! read more

Babies poop and pee a lot. A LOT. Ours does, anyway. We wanted to do cloth diapers, but in our transition to new parenthood, I knew it would be challenging to wash our own cloth diapers as well as take care of little junior. Solution: Baby Diaper Service! They deliver fresh, clean diapers once a week and take away your used dirty diapers. You have to buy your own diaper covers (and launder those yourself), but it sure beats having to do 3 extra loads of laundry a week. It allows me to spend more time with my sweet little babe. Plus, we've hardly seen a spot of diaper rash on his bum. Prices are very reasonable. We get 70 diapers delivered per week, and it's more than enough for our little pooper. The diapers also make excellent burp cloths. I highly recommend this business if you're considering cloth diapering your little one. Plus, the owner (Stori?) is super nice and very responsive. read more

Wow, these guys are amazing. With twins, I knew that I wouldn't be able to consistently wash 130 or so diapers a week. So Baby Diaper Service does that for me. They use a trace amount of bleach per load (this was really important to me), and they rely mostly on a number of energy-efficient washes and rinses to get the job done. The diapers arrive super clean and soft. And the hampers they provide are great -- totally keep the smell in, thanks to their natural orange-scented deodorant disks. Cloth diapering can be really overwhelming - spend a few hours on diaperswappers.com and you'll understand what I mean. This is where Baby Diaper Service is outstanding. They help you figure out everything from how many you need, how to use them, and what other kinds of accessories you need. Their customer service is incredible. They have gone above and beyond for me several times already, and I've only been using them one month! Could not recommend more highly. read more

We used this service from the time our daughter was born until she was 16 months. We ended service because we were moving out of the area, and would have continued had we stayed. The service worked out well for us. Diapers always came when expected and the number and size expected. Customer service was always very pleasant when we had to contact them to change sizes or suspend our service for vacation, etc. It was so nice to not have to deal with washing diapers and we would definitely recommend this service for anyone considering cloth diapering. read more

We love BDS diapers. It is so easy to customize and adjust your order based on need or travel out of town. Our delivery guy, who we call Diaper Don, is really friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend purchasing your first year in advance (or asking for it as a shower gift). We saved a lot of money and it is so nice to not have to worry about budgeting for diapers. Great diapers, great help, great service. My only request would be for them to put their Baby Diapering 101 on video on their website. I live far up north and it was a bit of a hassle to get to the class. read more

I signed up for this service despite some bad reviews, as I really didn't want to wash the 100 or so dirty diapers that a newborn produces in a week, my mother used the same service to diaper me 25 years ago and recommended it, and there is not really a competing diaper service in Seattle. I experienced a few problems at first (delivery of the wrong number of diapers, delivery of the smaller size of diapers after I had called that week to get the bigger size in the next delivery, switched delivery from Tuesday to Wednesday without alerting me), which I found really frustrating. Soon, however, I was contacted by a gentleman (I believe the General Manager) who wanted to assure me that issues like the ones I had been experiencing were not par for the course. He offered me a few weeks of diaper service and a few diaper covers as consolation, and I didn't have any problems after that. He even recently called to follow up and make sure I was not experiencing further issues. The majority of businesses mess things up occasionally, but it's really about how they deal with the issues and displeased customers. They won me back. :) read more

This service was a gift that I badly wanted (unlike the pile of newborn onesies and stuffed animals we received) and have enjoyed using it for the past 9 months. It's been great for us. I know that I never would have kept using cloth diapers if someone else weren't doing the laundry. When we needed the next size up we called them and because the smaller size had just been delivered they rushed out another delivery in the larger size that day. So nice! We were willing to wait another week for it, but it was great for them to do that unsolicited. Occasionally when we've forgotten to put the diapers on the porch they've been quite courteous and knocked on the door to ask for them. Which is great, as we didn't want to house the dirty diapers for a week as we incurred more dirty diapers! Overall we've been very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

Wow. Baby Diaper Service is amazing. Every aspect of this company has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend cloth diapers and BDS is the best service by far. I've only been using Baby Diaper Service for 5 mouths but I went to the free informative "how to" class, visited the store front and met my delivery driver. At every turn BDS has been the most pleasant experience. Being a new parent is a wild ride but BDS makes this one very important aspect completely effortless. Everything I've received from them has been top notch and I especially like the Imagine diaper cover. I highly recommend Baby Diaper Service! read more

The only.. ONLY reason baby diaper service isn't getting 5 stars is because 70 diapers for one week is just not enough. I know i can order more but that also raises cost. If you want the hands down nicest, most caring and "work with you" customer service experience in Washington state, consider Baby Diaper Service. Every time i have communicated with this company, i get off the phone with a smile on my face and i just wanna hug something floofy. They honestly seem like that care about little ol me and my families well-being which is nill in todays egotistical corporate world of profit above all else! The way this company treats its clients, i know this is cliche, but its like family. I met the owner Marc today, He greeted me by name with a huge smile! Hey Marc, has anyone ever told you you look like Tim Robbins? Anyways, Marc has wonderful energy and for the owner to humbly deliver diapers... what a great practice! It shows this is there passion. Great company, can't think of a better way to run your business. I originally wanted baby diaper service because 40% of landfills are diapers and I refused to contribute to that statistic. But now I will recommend to everyone because of this companies wonderful service and mission to make your new parenthood pleasant, worry-free, and eco-friendly. GO... RUN TO THE PHONE... call them up just to talk because I assure you, you will get off the phone and run.... sprinting to cuddle with your fluffiest pet of choice because of how good they make you feel. Happy Earth Day! read more

Baby Diaper Service is the best!! We have been so happy with their service. They make cloth diapering so easy with their beautiful, high quality (and ultra-clean!) diapers. The customer service is impeccable too--Carolyn has been wonderfully helpful and cheerful anytime we've needed to make a change or fix (my own) mistakes. Our baby is always happy at diaper changes--maybe a coincidence, but I think not. And this mama loves not having to worry about extra laundry or rashes on my baby's sensitive skin! We would recommend BDS without reservation to anyone considering cloth diapering. You won't regret it! read more

We've used Baby Diaper Service for three kids across more than a decade (kids ages 13, 8 and 1) and across all of those years the Baby Diaper Service has delivered top notch customer service and clean and soft diapers. Carolyn is super prompt and friendly in the customer service department, and diapers are always delivered on time and clean as can be. Strongly recommend this service! Thanks BDS for all of the years of clean as fresh snow diapers. Also have cute diaper covers you can add to your order. read more

We used this diaper service for 1.5 years and had a flawless experience. On our first delivery while I was pregnant the van driver was a dad who kindly showed us how to fold the diapers for a boy and for a girl since the sex was a surprise to us. Phone calls were always answered promptly and with helpful knowledge about what kids may need as they get bigger. They just sent me a refund check because I had prepaid for a year to get their discount and only needed a portion of the year as it turned out. The price in comparable with disposable diapers and you can have the peace of mind that you are saving thousands of plastic diapers from making it into our landfill. I calculated that cloth diapers probably saved us from throwing away about 900 disposable diapers in 1.5 years. Wow. read more

This service is great! I knew I wanted to cloth diaper my first baby and when I mentioned it to my mom she recommended a service like she had used in the 80s - and paid for the first few months as a gift! BDS has been great from the start. We've had to move up in size twice already and each time the switch was handled very efficiently. We love our driver - Don clearly takes pride in his work and providing excellent customer service. I've washed a few of my own diapers at home and no matter what they always have a verrrrry faint smell of ick, courtesy of my minimal-water-using HE washer. Not the BDS diapers - they smell like, well, nothing. Just as they should! You do have to buy and home-launder your own diaper covers, but because they do not absorb pee it is no problem. And I'm not sure about some of the claims regarding other reviews... but this is a real non-solicited customer review, I swear. read more

Baby Diaper Service is great for these reasons: 1. Friendly and helpful staff-From the moment I signed up for service their reps walked me through the whole process, and followed up with me to see if I had any questions before my delivery. My driver is so friendly and personally stopped by during his off time to make sure I had a face with a name! SO NICE! 2. It's easy. They provide you with everything you need to do cloth diapers and take away the mess each week. Literally all you have to do is change your baby, but the soiled diaper in the provided diaper pail, and leave the soiled diapers out once a week. That's it! 3. It's better for the environment and baby! 'Nuff said read more

The Baby Diaper Service is an amazing service, and they really and truly treat you like family. We have been using their services for 11 months and have now made the choice to start cloth diapering at home. I'm excited for this change but I'm seriously sad to be leaving the BDS family behind. They taught us everything we needed to know to get started, introduced us to our favorite cloth brand for covers (Thirsties ), and gave us the help we needed to succeed at this without being in over our heads! I recommend this service 1 million times over if you're thinking about entering the cloth diaper world! They offer a class to teach you how to cloth, they have all the sizes of prefolds to move through as baby grows, and their customer service is above and beyond! Do yourself the biggest favor you can as a new parent and take the stress out of cloth diapering. You change the diaper, toss it in the pail they provide, and leave it out once a week to be taken away. They're like the fairy godmothers you never knew you needed! Love my BDS Fam! read more

I am using this service for a second time and can't recommend them enough. They're super friendly, helpful, and their service is easy to use. As a single working mother, being able to cloth diaper and not have the extra laundry is amazing. It's environmentally friendly, and they don't use harsh chemicals. My daughter and I love this service. Lastly, they are so helpful. If I've ever had issues with leaks or things they have lots of advice, and are friendly. Highly recommend! read more

We decided to ease our way into cloth diapering our baby with the diaper service for the first few months. We only made it a month with the service before switching to our own stash though. Pros: No laundry (um, that part was majorly awesome now that I think about it) Reasonably Priced Convenient Eco friendly Customer Service Cons: Thin. I'm going to elaborate on this now...The prefolds would be completely soaked and didn't seem very absorbent. We were actually afraid that all diapers would be horribly wet in a matter of moments against our new baby and felt really disheartened by cloth at first. When we switched to our private prefolds stash (osocozy brand) though, we found this wasn't the case, thankfully. Visibly side by side, ours were thicker and fluffier and have proven the test of time. The second con was that we had to buy extras to keep up with our baby's needs... like, a lot of extras and that drove the price up. So for us, the bottom line was a performance issue. I have heard from other people that they used to use another type of prefold that was more absorbent. I wish they switched back, I'd probably go back to the service again even though it would be an extra expense! read more

Love it... I can have all of the benefit of cloth diapering without having to get my hands dirtier than necessary cleaning poo. They take care of everything. I put the bag out on Tuesday morning and another one with 70 perfectly laundered cloth diapers appears. Everyone I've spoken with on the phone has been very knowledgeable and helpful to a cloth diapering newbie, not to mention nice when it comes to listening to a screaming baby on the other end.. Cuz kids just know when you have to make a phone call its time for drama and waterworks. Surprised I have time to write this. Oh and they sell a great variety of diaper covers you keep. read more
