The staff is so friendly and the food is always fresh with a variety from the buffet each day changing it up with certain specials. As you walk in, you are greeted by a salad bar and table with plates or takeout containers. You grab whatever you want from the salad bar buffet (which has a small selection of meat at the end) and then head over to the grill. There are a different cuts of chicken, beef, pork, and lamb that you can request. Once you're done ordering, they weigh your plate and you pay based upon that. There are different prices for salad bar only, salad bar and grilled meats, and grilled meats only). Then you can either take it to go or sit in the dining area behind the bar. There was a TV playing a concert and some other folks back in the casual dining area. The picanha and other beef was a bit overcooked the night we went, but that doesn't take away from how great the other meats were. The chicken breast wrapped in bacon was super juicy and flavorful as was the pork and spiced chicken sausage. I also tried the chicken heart just to try something new and it was also pretty good. The chicken wings were also a hit. I didn't try anything from the salad bar, but my compatriots said the pork meatballs were also fantastic! Overall the meats are great albeit some of the steak was overcooked, however the value for this meal was excellent. With tip, I paid $21 for nearly 1.4 pounds of various meats. Worth a try if you're in the area and I suspect we'll be coming back when our next carnivore craving hits!

Our drinks were always refilled, she made sure we had everything we needed, and she helped make the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. It's easy to find a good restaurant, but great service is what makes you want to come back. Mari's positive attitude and genuine care for her customers really stood out. We had a great evening and she was a big part of that. Thanks, Mari!

A large group of us went for Dine Out Boston and although some ordered drinks, we didn't opt for any food upgrades, and I wonder if that had something to do with the poor service. We were served the "filler" meats pretty quickly - chicken and sausage, followed by the lower quality beef cuts. Eventually, the better cuts made their way around, but after about one round of each, we barely saw the servers again. Even when we specifically requested certain cuts, we waited long stretches of time before they came around. My memory was that as long as your card was green, the meat just kept coming. This time, I didn't even need to flip my card to red because we were served so infrequently. The cheese bread on the other hand kept getting refilled without our asking, even though we already had multiple baskets on the table. And this is relatively minor, but when you sit down, they ask whether you want still or sparkling water. If you don't want to be charged for every round, you have to proactively ask for tap. On its own, it's not a big deal and it's certainly not unique to this restaurant, but combined with everything else, it contributed to the overall feeling that the business model is a bit of a scam. Unfortunately, the food and experience just didn't justify the price this time around. **Update: I reached out to customer service as they suggested, but unsurprisingly, I never received a response.

**Sabor do Brazil Spicy Sausage 4/5…read moreGarlic Picanha 4/5 Regular Picanha 4/5 Oxtail 4/5 Jasmine Rice 4/5 This is a tiny hole in the wall Brazilian BBQ place. A hidden gem from my perspective. It's nothing fancy, sometimes a little hard to communicate with the cashier but they are great people and have great food. The Food~ The spicy sausage is juicy and rich with a bit of a kick. The garlic and regular Picanha meat are also soft and tender. The crusty skin with the garlic and salt bits mends well with the meat. Paired together with the jasmine butter rice neutralizes the saltiness and pulls you back for more. The oxtail and soup is also very good. The warm soup with the tender oxtail paired again with the rice is the perfect combo. There wasn't a lot of vegetable options but I'm not complaining :) The Logistics~ There is plenty of parking on the street and also a public parking lot near Blanchard. A party of 4 is considered large for this place and you'll end up taking all the seats. Don't like sticking around too long and the seating area is pretty limited and not the best for private conversations.

I do love Brazilian food, so I am a little biased. But I would make the case there is something for everyone at this place. There aren't many tables, so if there isn't a table for you you'll need to take your food with you. But believe me when I say the food here really is very high-quality. And the guys that work there and make the food are all from Brazil. One neat thing is they have a TV that is playing Brazilian news and sports. We watched the highlights from the soccer which was a nice way to pass the time.

Like anything in hot hold for a while, everything gets significantly overcooked. So I tried it at various times to see if there was any difference. Not really. Everything is just overcooked. So maybe it's the style or it's the classic little family business that reheats everything to avoid waste. Of all the items I've tried so far, I can only say that the okra was the one item that surprised me. Everything else didn't make much of an impression but the okra was a Tyson uppercut in flavor. So maybe I'll just be back for that and ignore the several times I showed up early and food already pulled and "closed" for the night.
