Today my husband made a suggestion he wanted to eat a bahn mi sandwich so we went to this shop located in the airport area where chans buffet was located and joes grill located now. I had my Teri bbq chicken bahn mi was good only thing I wish they had a little more mayonnaise in between the baguette. Lots of BBQ chicken. My husband had their ham bahn mi he said was good also. He would wanted a little bit more mayonnaise as well. We would be back again and try something else.

good sit down or takeout service. $11-12 Banhmi is as cheap as you will get in Hawaii now. Pho was good. easy free parking. convenient by airport. lots of other choices/ restaurants nearby for those that like variety, have others that want soemthing else!

Located off Nimitz Hwy, in a shopping complex with lots of other restaurants and stores. Decided to stop by and grab a quick lunch, they were very busy with customers and phone orders, so service was a little slow, but understandable for a small mom & pop restaurant. The combo sandwich was good, but the bread could have been toasted more to give the sandwich the nice crunch and texture, other than that it was filled with fresh vegetables and it was tasty. Didn't have time to take a picture of the summer roll with chicken we had to leave and took it with us and then didn't have time to eat it driving to Mililani and ended up not being able to eat it and had to throw it out.

Was in the mood for a baile sandwich near the airport. Found one at the Nimitz Center. Service was fast especially this place also has tables to eat in. Tables are set up for seating of fours. You can walk up to the counter to make your takeout order. Order the combo sandwich, pad thai noodles and thai coffee. Sorry to say that like all Ba-Le Sandwich shops I have been to. The sandwich are great and delicious. Full of flavor. Pros: Always got a great sandwich from this chain of sandwich shops. Cons: Would like to have some extra peanuts and some Sauces. Like plum sauce. Not sure if I could asked if I could because it was my first time ordering noodles from them. Would I go back? Yes, found my go to place for my sandwich fix near the airport.

Walking around while waiting for my car to be serviced. I came to a strip mall on Nimitz Hwy . There were all kinds of eatery places to eat . Subway, Nimitz BBQ. Aloha Sushi and a fast food Chinese restaurant. Also my last Ba-Le review at Kamehameha Shopping Center location was a flop . So I decided to stop in at this particular location Ba-Le . The service was very friendly and I ordered 2 pieces of their spring roll . It came out hot and fresh and it was stuffed with rice noodles , a little pork , shredded carrots , mushrooms and cabbage. Along with a vinegar fish dipping sauce . I totally forgot about this Ba-Le location . Back in the day I use to work nearby and I remember going to this Ba-Le for lunch . So in the future I will definitely try their Bahn-Mi sandwiches . Support local

I got to try the spicy chicken plate and it was very tasty. This was my first time trying this Thai seasoning and I was very surprised find how good it was. Moreover, the server was very helpful and friendly.

They still have actual Sriracha! Pho broth was tasty. Plenty of beef. Standard options. No complaints but nothing more to note.

Idk, but not a Teri-Beef sandwich???

My husband was just there 20 minutes ago. Order a Teri-beef sandwich from the store's owner, And this is what I got!!!! Since when does white meat pass for beef?? After my husband told you I like your sandwiches!!! You LOST a customer!!!

My banh mi was not at all authentic and tasted like a regular sandwich with very little pickled daikon and very little cilantro.

Tough time of the year, lots of folks take off... was sooo happy to grab a couple of mixed boxes and mochi. Nice to talk to folks excitedly talking about what to get and people watching. Regulars know the score, best bang is start with a combo box and ADD ON your favoties. It's easy to get carried away picking from scratch and end up with a $30 box. da Grub: It's consistently GREAT and SAME year after year. Akule, Nori Chicken, Ahi burger, veg tempura & shoyu pork are my add ons to a A-D box. da Service: can be long line, but moves surprisingly quick, don't be discouraged when you see the line go to the end of the lot, go for it!

Being of mixed race, I've been exposed to many cultures within my own family. So long story short, Fukuya has been around since the 1930's and I've stopped by countless times over the years. Not my favorite Okazuya, but definitely one of the busiest with one of the largest selections! Authentic, convenient, & open before 5am! In the end, I highly recommend Fukuya for those that live in Hawaii with roots that go back generations to the plantation days. Heck, I'd recommend to just about anyone who loves simple picnic foods that our grandparents once enjoyed. Not much has changed over the years except the bright building and prices. They've also put down more markers for customer parking which has been helpful in picking up food from here. The line can be long at times but they keep it moving quickly once you get inside. Hubs and I started dabbling beyond our usual kalbi and garlic chicken combo and crunchy garlic with tater tots. We tried a new addition to their menu: poké nachos. I've seen these elsewhere on island but their wontons are freshly fried, spiced with furikake, and don't feel too heavy. It's a nice vehicle to eat their poke and comes with Taegu as well as crab and seaweed salad. Did I have it twice in one week? Also yes. Their fish patties are moist and flavorful. Can't go wrong with their poke selection, good mouthfeel, fresh fish, and flavors are delicious. The energy here is fast paced and all the workers are kind/ answer questions. Will definitely be trying more tastes from here.

OMG --- the price/lb is less where we live but it' not as fresh. Tanioka's is organized if you're patient and willing to wait in line which almost everyone is. I'm not sure if I like so much merchandise from other businesses attracting us while waiting in line. The space is already small. The ambiance could be improved by downsizing on local merchandise. We are standing in line to purchase poke not other stuff. Consider refreshing that space. Service has always been good.
